It is hard to review this business because I have never been able to try their service. I have tried many times to get a manicure and pedicure but they are never open. If I show up for a morning appointment the place is empty far past the advertised times. I then tried the late afternoon and found it closed 90 minutes early. Extremely rude. I brought my 11 year old daughter for a manicure as I waited about 30 minutes for my pedicure...possibly 1 hour. Even though I called before I came and they said 10 minutes. My daughter was obviously done before I was. There were 3 empty pedicure massage chairs so I told her to sit in one and try out the massage. I told her to not put her feet in the basin. The 2 ladies worming Ana and Diana both kept staring at her until finally one of them walked over to my daughter and told her not to sit there. She was doing nothing wrong. This is still my favorite place for myself and my elderly mom. Ann and staff are always warm and caring with mom and the services are excellent, consistent and reasonably priced. There is a wait at times but nothing unreasonable with an appointment. The hygiene is impeccable and the chairs up to date. I have been here several times before out of convenience since it is so close to my old house. Nothing but basic pedicures. But on this occasion I was coming in to simply get a couple of smudged toes fixed. I had gotten them done at another salon, and was coming here to get them fixed since they had done good pedicures before. I walked in and asked if they could fix two toes for me. Just simple polish. There was one client in the whole salon. The ladies working just stood and stared at me. Then they proceeded to ask me "Why didn't you go back to the place you got it done". I shouldn't have to explain that I'm coming from out of town and I'm not a "regular" anymore. But I did. Then she told me "Well I don't think I have that color?" I picked the color right off the wall and showed her. Then, she said "well I have an appointment coming at 4". It was about 15 to 4pm. How long does it take to fix two toes? Just blatantly rude and didn't want to do it. Making excuses. Absolutely horrible customer service. read more

I have been to every nail salon from Riverbank to Pleasanton and Danville. I not only agree with Amy S. but would like to ad that this is the first time in 20+ years of having my nails done that I do not have any complaints whatsoever. While I have been here before and had adequate service, I must say that the level of service has gone down hill and at a frightening speed. I took the time to book an appointment almost 2 weeks in advance for 2:00pm so that I could plan my day appropriately. While I thought it was strange that I could barely say my name before they hung up the phone I did not give it a second thought. Looking back maybe I should have. I am now sitting here at 2:30pm and only when I ask how much longer will it be do I get an answer of "another 15-20 minutes". Where is the customer service? You must know you have appointments scheduled so why take the walk-ins if you know it will delay service? While I would love to just walk away, I am at their mercy as it is 4 days before Christmas and I am in desperate need of a mani/pedi. Then to top it off their credit card machine is broken and they are only taking cash. That would be good information to give your customers at the time they book their appointments! I know that it did not just break either because when I was here in July it wasn't working. Silly me to think they would have gotten it fixed. Lucky for me I had some cash on me but what an inconvenience. Well this is too bad for them as I was going to purchase some gift certificates for Christmas but at this point I will forgo them altogether. In summary, I will not return to this salon nor will I recommend anyone patronize this salon. If you are thinking of going here, save yourself the hassle, book your appointment at any other salon in town. read more

I really like this place and have been going bi-weekly for Shellac/Gel mani- pedi for several months. I have read that people haven't been pleased with appointment times being honored. I have been lucky enough to fit my appointments in over my lunch break and I don't go at "12" when I know others will be doing the same. So far I have not had any trouble getting in and getting out. The only issue I would say I have is that they used to take ATM card and haven't for AWHILE now. they say its broken but seems more like they don't want to deal with ATM or credit cards. They only take cash. Which can be a pain. They have the LARGEST selection of Shellac/Gel/Perfect match colors that I have ever seen. They carry several different lines of UV polish. The place is clean, pleasant music, relaxing and the people who work there are very nice and make you feel good. If it wasn't for the CASH issue id rate them a 5. If I ever have an issue with appointment I will be sure to speak with them in person and give them a chance to correct the issue.... I will say that I have been there getting my nails done when a call comes in to make an appointment and I hear the conversation and it does appear that they "make the appointment" over the phone but no one writes anything down or checks a book to be sure that time is not overlapped by others coming in. My advice is to make it clear if you do call for an appointment that you are in a hurry and cannot wait and need to be sure your appointment is honored when you arrive. read more

Really took the time to make you feel comfortable and do flawless work. Depending on what you get, it can get a little pricey but it's worth every cent. I recommend everyone should go to Pro Nails. I have been there many times and got great pedicures. Went there last Monday afternoon and was totally disappointed. The water was barely luke warm. Did not ever ask me if it was OK and I did not complain. When doing the buffing of my nails, I think she barely touched my actual toe nails. My heals were still rough after she pumiced them. I asked her, hoping she could pumice them more and she told me to put lotion on them. Isn't the purpose of a pedi to have smooth feet? Then when I was done, she did not even put me under the dryer. I was so annoyed I just left. Now 6 days later, my feet are not smooth and my polish has chipped. I already need another pedicure. Totally disappointed. I have contemplated going back to complain, but figure they will not care about customer service. I am sure there are other places in this small town that will do better. read more

Wonderful service. I had a pedicure that lasted over two months without a single chip in the polish, incredible. Pleasant, clean, professional and if you get the maximum priced pedicure it is worth every penny. I will continue to patronize this spa based on my totally positive experience. I have been going to a salon in Manteca that alot of women seem to like alot and has a good reputation, but I was never satisfied by their work. It was sloppy and never even looked nice when they were done. My hair dresser told me about Pro Nails in Ripon so I went there just 4 days after the LAST time I will go to the other salon. I was treated very well, they are very friendly and you don't get the feeling they are talking about you in the native tongue. I had a pedi and a full set done, after she took the time to take off the nails I had just paid for. She was very gentle and my nails look natural and are beautiful. I have had alot of compliments on them and have sent 4 other people to this salon and they all love it. Anh is the girl that does mine and I could not be happier................If you give this salon a chance you will be very glad you did. And they are open 7 days a week. So I went to pro nail spa today to have my nails done. I had the worst experience of my life there. I always get the powder tip done on my nails. I have been to many place all over the US to get my nails done and this was the worst. I tried to explain to the lady that she needed to add more powder because the was places that had none. She kept saying there's nothing she could do. she said it will look better when she's done. So I let her finish and at the end I still wasn't happy with what she did. I tried to explain again that I was not happy with the work she had done. All she said was I can't do anything. Then proceeded to say you pay or I call the police. I told her I didn't feel that I should pay full price for something she didn't do right. She just kept say I can't do anything. So I asked her do you always do half ass work and expect people to pay full price? She said yes and again told me you pay or I call the police. Getting more and more mad about how she was being rude I paid the bill. I am not happy with the work that was done here. I would not recommend anyone go to this nail shop unless you want to be treated like crap. Both women that work there are very rude. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail shop. Unbelievably HORRIBLE customer service even for "regulars." Makes them no difference, either way. Don't bother making an appointment, even days prior, they just flat won't honor it. They have no concern for their customers time or feelings. If your appointment is scheduled for 4:00 and someone walks in at 3:55, there goes your appointment. That just screams one thing to me.......the mighty dollar takes priority over providing decent, courteous customer service. My friend and I have put up with their shenanigans one time too many. We're done! We occasionally plan "girls day out" with pedis, etc. and make appointments in advance, requesting to be seated next to the other and have our pedis at the same time. Fat chance! We've been made to wait up to 1 hour before even being put in a chair, only to sit another 30 minutes with our feet soaking in water that's turned cold (this tactic is just to buy them more time to pocket as much money as they possibly can from "biting off more than they can chew).
