I think this is my first time ever being a Y member! This…read moreis affordable and perfect for myself and kids. The location is super convenient which means we will get lots of use! So far we have been enjoying ourselves. We spend most of the time at the pool. The pool hasn't ever been crowded but we haven't been on the weekends. Every quarter til, they blow the whistle for "adult only swim". That is cool and makes the kids take a break and also I good time to leave if you can't get your kids away. We also signed up for swim lessons. I'm not a huge fan of the swim program this far. No opportunity to make up missed lesson and they are short staffed. We probably won't continue once school starts. The instructor seems to not be able to engage all kids in the group lesson and my kid did his own thing the entire 30mins. I attended a cycling class and that was fun. They have a "summer concert series" theme going on. Childcare is available and convenient. I love this option. There is a subway on site which we have used multiple times when we don't pack snacks for the pool. Over all, we love it here!

While LA does have more to offer, I never felt comfortable working out there. So many lunk heads and judgey stares. From the minute I walked in, I knew it would be a completely different experience. Sean, the assistant manager, knows my name and always smiles and says hello. This goes a long way in my book. At the big box gyms, you're just a face in a million. I always come on my lunch hour to lift and never have issues getting to any piece of equipment. The have a great weight room with a large selection of machines and free weights. The equipment is older and not shiny and new, but it's all functional and safe, so who cares? The cardio selection is decent, lots of treadmills, several ellipticals, lots of bikes and a few stair masters. I can't speak to their classes, I've never taken any. The sauna is nice and hot as hell. Locker rooms are older, but again, functional. All around, this is a highly recommended facility. Speaking as a woman that frequently works out alone, I very much enjoy my time at CTF and look forward to working out now more than ever.

It definitely gives me the old school gym vibe. The people are extremely nice, and they even have a gym puppers named Gracie. It has everything from Cross Fit to weightlifting to powerlifting which I think is great because they cater to more than one strength training group. I can tell you this, I WILL be back!! She lost more than 100 lbs on WW and has kept it off. She knows the program personally and motivates us to take care of ourselves and focus on our "why." Yes, WW is about losing weight and you weigh in before meetings BUT the meetings and content focus on you as a holistic person. Example: this week's workshop focused on 10 ways to de-stress during the holidays. I've gotten to know a few of the regulars that attend the same meeting as me, and those people combined with the inspirational leaders keep me coming back and finding success. The studio location was very clean, bright and welcoming. Coach Terri greeted me at the door with a warm welcome, as well as the guide who was at the check-in station. The meeting topic was good, and the group seemed to feel very comfortable in sharing their struggles, successes and ideas with the group. I think the overall tone of the meeting was due to the staff and their members. I wish there were more WW locations opening up where you can also purchase WW products. I hate paying for shipping! Anyway now that the pandemic is over, (or almost) it's time for WW to reopen more locations across the Country! WW is a tried and true healthy way to enjoy life!
