Technician are great, company is awful. My husband had them a few years ago and they were great. I called in June 2023 because of recent gopher activity. I was quoted $426.00 for a year, that was not correct it is more than $700.00 just for the front yard (more than $900.00 if a new customer). They come once every three months if you need them or not. After a few visits I still had gophers, so I told them not to come anymore. I was told I had to pay for the year. Save your money, I spent less than $100.00 and got rid of them. I researched and I have gotten rid of the gophers myself using non toxic remedies. read more

Hands down a top notch organization. I worked with Alan who was extremely professional and got my company dialed in perfectly. After another company dropped the ball these guys stepped in and handled business. Alan came to my business afterhours then set 15 traps after signing the contract for us. When I called him to let him know a number of the traps had sprung via text he let me know someone would be coming to reset the traps. As a business owner it's obvious to me that his primary role in the company is sales, but I'm confident he got there from doing a good job actually exterminating pests. I get regular emails and texts that I subscribe to which inform me of when they plan on servicing my account. The first one I got said between 8:00-11:00 am and the technician came at 8:00 but unfortunately my business opens at 9:00. I texted the technician and he came back out to handle the service. Initially, pretty good service when they were formerly known as Pacific Pest Control (2020). I was consulted and given options, so we decided to go with localized treatment on my parents' home. Since it was the pandemic, we decided not to go with fumigation. They said 100% of the localized treatment could go to fumigation within a year. Fast forward to around a year later and I am trying to schedule the fumigation (pandemic has let up, so we thought why not). I was told that if I waited, then 50% of costs would go to fumigation. They did not communicate anything about timeliness, so I thought calling them was essentially a gentleman's agreement. My mistake. Since they scheduled themselves to come out after our warranty was up, they said they would not honor the 100% or 50%. In fact, they said they never had a 50% policy. I felt gaslit. I called them explaining that we weren't aware and that the technician wanted a receipt or some kind of documentation. But, I was greeted with hostility and a customer's-always-wrong tone. They said they'd look into it but I was basically SOL. read more

This review is for their Attic Ventilation Installation. My attic did not have any ventilation. I called around to a couple of companies to get a quote and to get an opinion. I was already a current customer of Pacific Pest Control and found out they also did attic ventilation . Tyler came out, walked around the house, and climbed the roof. He drew me his proposal for attic ventilation. His presentation was the most thorough among the other companies and was spot on (I researched ventilation to see which was best, Tyler's proposal adhered to recommendations, the others did not). On installation day, the guys who came out were phenomenal and knew what they were doing. They did a great job and was really meticulous. I truly appreciate this company and their work ethic. And very happy to have used them for ventilation because I know for sure not only is my attic ventilated but its also protected from rodents :) Thanks guys! read more

This review is just based on the free inspection: Pacific Pest Control drove all the way from Irvine to give me a free inspection of my property due to rats. Their communication was great. They gave me a window of when they would arrive and called me 20 minutes out. When the inspector arrived, he was friendly and looked at my property for close to 45 minutes. He was very thorough and honest with his assessment. I had another pest control company come a couple hours later and they spent five minutes and then emailed me an estimate with a crazy amount, talking about rat proofing my attic when I live in an A-frame that has no attic! I have had to learn more about this "rat business" than I thought I ever would have to learn. The main reason is because it is so hard to cover all your bases when you have a rat problem and most companies only do a part of the work necessary. I have had so many companies not return my calls, come out and not provide a complete bid, give me a bid without coming out to see the house, give me bids that were 3 times the price Pacific Pest Control quoted. I have been given mis information or incomplete information. People used scare tactics to get me to do unnecessary work. Pacific Pest was a breath of fresh air. Craig helped me understand what needs to be done and there are not many people that do the COMPLETE job that Pacific Pest Control does. So you have rats. You think "just trap or kill the rats". You then have to worry about them coming back in. And then they pooped everywhere in your attic and what do you do about all of that and the viruses that may be present now in your attic/insulation? Most companies only want to do ONE part of the 3 things that need to be done. Trapping, keeping them from coming back, and then sanitizing and cleaning your attic. There are companies that will trap and exclude the rats and one even gave me a flat rate of a few hundred dollars and would warranty they don't come back for 6 months. 6 months does not seem like a lot of time. And how could he know the price without coming out to see my house? He had a ton of positive yelp reviews too. He made it clear he does not specialize in cleaning, removing, and sanitizing the insulation in my attic and I would need another company to do that. I had to spend days getting bids from separate companies and one of the bids was over $5,000 that part. A ton of companies never called me back or they didn't talk about doing all 3 things that most of you WILL have to do or it is a waste of money. Craig the owner came out personally and spent a LONG time (over an hour) going over my house for a free estimate (some guys charge for the estimate). He took pictures of the problems and showed me right then and there. I get the quote from Craig right then and there and I was floored that its still pretty expensive (more than a few hundred bucks). Then Craig explains why. Houses and roofs are built to keep water out. Sometimes you don't even need to seal something because of the way water flows (ie water doesn't flow upwards). So it doesn't have to be sealed that good in some places for water. But for pests and rats, they can chew through or get in through those openings. Craig said he needed to seal the roof line with mortar. I said that seemed a lot more expensive than the other guys that just charge a few hundred bucks flat rate. He said, almost no one seals ups the roof line where it meets the house and if you just use cheap screening, it will fall apart. That is why they give 6 months warranty and he gives 2 years. It has to be good to withstand 2 years. He also told me that I probably did not have to remove and replace all my insulation like all the other people suggested . He said it was not that bad and he could clean it and we could save a lot of money. He was the first person that didn't put the "fear" into me due to that. They came on time and the owner was on the job. It took almost 2 full days to do everything. 2 Days!!! with 3 guys! I wonder how much time the 6 month warranty guys spend doing all of this? I found them to be very thorough and Craig answered all my questions the whole time during the work. Most jobs have problems. When trying to seal off an opening by my air conditioner, he drilled a little too far and punctured the freon line. I would have never have known. He told me right away and scheduled a HVAC person to fix it later. This kind of accountability and honesty is rare to see these days. NO rats in the traps he has set out and everything is sealed and I feel better about my attic and worrying about future problem. The bonus is my roofline where the tiles meet the wall is even stronger now and sealed better not only for pests but for water leaking as well. In summary, you should use these guys because they are the only guys who I could find who can do all three things (catch rats, exclude them from coming back, take old insulation out and replace if necessary) under one business at a reasonable price . This company is prompt professional, they do not hard sell. In fact they will educate you as well so you know why and what you are spending you money on and feel like it is a fair price (but I warn you that it will probably more expensive than you thought like I did. I thought it would be just a few hundred dollars and all they had to do was catch some rats and screen off some vents...boy was I wrong). Beware the companies that do not do "everything" for your rat problem. Pacific Pest helped me realize a low price on work that does not solve the problem for a long time is a waste of money. read more

The level of service and treatment we received is absolutely unacceptable . Hopefully after the company sees this post they will coach accordingly and avoid losing customers . Especially ones that was actually impress with the initial service ! 1. Our first treatment was August . We signed up for quarterly service . The gentleman that came was on time , very professional , and thorough . My husband was impressed . 2. Our second service scheduled Nov . We came home to a door hang saying " we were here , treated , see attached invoice ." We were appalled that someone came without notifying us . At set up, we were told we would be notified prior to service so that we can let the technician know if there's any interior treatment or anything special we need for the exteriors . To top that off , we live in a gated community , not sure how he got through without permission . Maybe he was here treating another home and decided to unload his responsibilities. We were irritated but figured, stuff happens . 3. We called in to report the incident about the door hang . Customer service rep was very polite . Apologize for the mishap and rescheduled . Following Saturday 2-4. We waited around , called , no one followed up or showed up . We had a birthday party to attend with my kids and did not go because we thought it would be quick once a tech arrives , we waited around until 3:30 and called it quits . Received the voicemail after 4pm . The message says " Sorry , I had an inconvenience happen , call customer service to reschedule ." Those were his exact words lol! I still had the voicemail , forwarded to them with this recap and still no response . The 4. Had a call from their customer service rep last week asking to reschedule . Told her I'm done , cancel me . She was like " ok" . Not a question of why or if a manager can assist . 5. They clearly have plenty of customers and don't need more . Hopefully my refund happens quickly and I do not wish to continue with this company . Nor should you if you are hearing great things about them from other folks . Edit: after 2 sprays 3 weeks apart, I have seen much less spiders!! I still see silverfish and occasionally daddy long legs but no more of the big black spiders that I was most afraid of. It probably shouldn't have taken 2 sprays to make that happen, just should have taken one. Just know that you will probably have to spray twice. The second one is a touch up and is free to you. Edit: The company is great and super easy to work with but I don't think their bug spray worked. I had to have them come back and spray again 3 weeks after their initial spray because all of the bugs were still coming in to the same areas of my house. I know that they sprayed well... I really want to like this company and want to use them again, but I won't (or I would ask them to use their strongest chemical possible that they could use in a home) because their spray didn't work. Maybe the chemical wasn't strong enough that they use? I also think I need to reseal the doors/ fireplace at my house to help combat the bug problems. The man who came to spray my house was dressed very dapper, I was pleasantly surprised, I felt like her looked very professional. He was very polite and made me feel comfortable. I would not recommend them due to the customer service... times are tough for all of us, there is a hefty charge to cancel service, contract or not, it's very disappointing. Service started out good but has gone down hill over the past year. Communication is terrible - I'll get an email that a tech will call me to schedule, then the tech just shows up at my door. You pay the same for exterior only as you do for interior/exterior, but with no notice you can't get interior treatment same day unless you're willing to drop everything and leave for 2 hours when they show up. I don't even know sometimes that they've been to my house - I just get an invoice. I liked them at first but their complete inability to talk to people has lost them my business. read more

Sorry, but I ordered a wood treatment to my deck only, which I paid usually $40.- with this company, but after they did the treatment, they told me that they did a treatment for subterranean termites, which I never asked for, and never had problem with, and they charged me $395.-!!! When I complained about it, They wrote me that they will send my debt to collection !!! I would mention that there is no room to acces under that deck, and the job was executed by spraying from the outside of the deck !!! The deck size is 14ft by 40ft. I had my property fumigated in December of 2019. Now, August of 2021, I am selling my property and need a termite report. I called up Pro Pacific to get a termite report and they said they couldn't help me because I am not a current customer and they are only sending inspectors out to current customers. I've been their client for years ! Love their service but trying to combine two bills into 1 from 2 of my residents is like pulling teeth. So the only way I could do it is pay 2 separate bills ! Other than that ! I haven't seen an ant for over 5 years. Always on schedule and very thorough ! You can also ask them to spray inside the house but I choose not cuz of my dogs. Hired this company over two years ago. Paid over $2000 for them to "seal" my tile roof from rats, with the promise that it would definitely take care of the problem. A year later we still had rats and had to replace our ducts, air conditioner, heater and insulation that were covered in rat poop and urine (almost $15,000). Another year of them trying to find the holes that the rats were using to getting into the house, and I gave up on them. Two years and thousands of $ later - they never found the holes and we still have rats. And after 3 separate smoke tests with plumbers out after each one (with additional costs) nothing was wrong with any piping in my home. read more

So my last review noted roofing tiles that fell off an eave that was "replaced" just 7 (or so) months ago. I got a roofer to come out and fix it and wrote a Yelp update to my original review expressing my displeasure. Remarkably, Pacific Pest's owner-Craig, messaged me immediately asking what the problem was. I told him my story and he said he'd send someone out to take a look. My original inspector came out the next day and acknowledged the issue with the defective eave. Later the inspector called and said Pacific would reimburse me for my roofing costs. Sure enough, I just got a reimbursement check. So while this was originally their fault, I will say-they stepped up and reimbursed my costs. I will say-I respect that. Wow! Just wow! Pacific Pest Control solved our "critter" issue! True to their word, they came out and gave us their free estimate in a very quick time frame! Once we agreed to the work, they came and did the work and the plan was set! Then, we discovered LIVE CRITTERS in the house!! IMMEDIATELY because they were discovered in our home on the weekend, JULIO, the owner, calls and showed up with a live animal trap!! He comes and sets it up and so our relationship blossomed! He and his crew are AMAZING! We caught not just one but TWO possums! He follows the laws of your city and even humored me on my wishes to keep the trap set up for a couple extra weeks JUST TO BE SURE we caught all the critters!! I'm not gonna lie, the services aren't "cheap" ok, BUT, they find the tiniest nooks and crannies and fix them PROPERLY so you don't get visited again! They do proper clean up, they check ALL your attic spaces AND they do all the follow up they say they will do!!! AND if you notice ANYTHING, you call and they will respond!! Now, one little thing, "receptionist" is very nice BUT doesn't always deliver 100% of message necessary which would have been helpful in a couple of instances BUT the crew that had been dealing with my home was so beyond awesome, shared their cell numbers with us so contacting them became direct and easy! I say go with the Nordstrom of pest control, do it right the first time and go with Pacific Pest Control! Julio knows what he's doing and his guys are great!
