Why does this company have positive reviews on Yelp? I was misled only to find that my interaction with them was not so positive. Called several times, half the time there was no answer. Spoke to female representatives 4 times in total, only to speak to 3/4 different representatives, to which I had to re-explain my entire situation and enquiry to. Mind you - it was a stressful situation having discovered a bed bug infestation in an apartment I had just moved into AND it only made it even more hectic having to call over and over to follow up with this company on whether or not I could just schedule an appointment. One female representative informed me that a technician could stop by my place for an inspection that day, but she'd call me back to confirm. When I didn't receive a call back, I called again, and spoke to Kayly who told me they could see me that day from 12-3pm, puts me on hold, then tells me they can no longer see me that day. When asked why she casually responded with, "Oh I was looking at the wrong day." Please contact OC Pest Control instead!! This was very helpful since I had booked the appointment on a busy weekday. Pacific Pest allowed me to keep my day as planned, and the whole process was professional and efficient. They treated the exterior of my home and cleaned up some spider webs around my windows. The treatment was effective. It's been a couple weeks, and the ants and spiders haven't returned. The worst service you could find. The bait stations are supposed to be serviced monthly, with new bait. But they don't replace the old bait, which I've caught them doing repeatedly. I've raised the same issue multiple times, but on the last visit I asked the tech to re-open the bait stations he had just finished. The old bait was NOT replaced and his comment was "there was still bait remaining" and he also said "I'm the professional and know what I'm doing". I cannot recommend this company and have since cancelled this service. Buyer beware. read more

From the very beginning our experience with Pacific Pest was great. I requested a quote and got a response right away from the owner, Craig, who was very friendly and direct about solutions and pricing. The next day, we had an inspector and an exterminator out at our house. Both men were extremely knowledgeable and patient with our questions, plus they let us follow them around explaining all the signs of bugs and rodents (super nice guys). I really like that their work comes with a warranty, as these bugs can be a pain to get rid of. We signed up for reoccurring sprays at a reasonable price. We also used their termite and rodent services since we knowingly had these problems too. Simple reason for my low star... They set mouse/rat traps last month in our garage. Caught one in their trap. Took a week to get an appointment for them to come out. (That's fine, the dead rat will still be dead tomorrow.) The guy came out and noticed a field mouse in another trap we placed. Said since that's not my trap you need to dispose of it. What!? Your job is to get rid of pests. Who cares if it isn't your trap? Where's the business courtesy in that? Update: 7/10/17: Owner had a service guy come out the next day to take care of the mouse he left behind and vacuum around. Thank you for doing what was right. read more

I had my place sprayed over a month ago and would normally have written my review soon after, but I wanted to wait a while to make sure everything really fixed the problem I was having. I started finding silverfish and little black house spiders around my home, and for over a year, I would simply think it was just a temporary thing because of the hot summer weather. However, the problem persisted and I did some reading up on the problem and spent a good part of a year finding all the possible access points for the bugs...however, I was still finding them little critters dead and alive on my floor every few weeks. I was getting very frustrated that they weren't going away....I even tried an effective pest control spray I had found at Home Depot which helped, but the bugs incidences just reduced, but the problem persisted. After realized that they were most likely coming from the attic through gaps in the the plaster ceiling at the sprinkler holes, lighting fixtures, and exhausts. I wasn't about to venture into the attic so definitely needed a professional to take care of it. I then finally decided to call a pest control company and Pacific seemed to have good reviews. I had initially sent a message to them on their website and was promptly called back an hour or two later, set up an appointment for a technician to come out to survey the situation, and Victor came out the next day. Just to make sure I was aware that they were on the ball, he called me some 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment to tell me that he was his way. Victor arrived on time and basically briefed me on their best service for my situation, and how it would be carried out. After 5 or 10 minutes he told me to give the company a call when I was ready to schedule an actual treatment. I called immediately!....... but being as busy as they were, the soonest I could schedule an appointment was 2 or 3 days later. 2 or 3 days later Victor comes back out and is all prepared to tackle the problem. He was so friendly, patient, and understanding at how frustrating a bug problem is for most, and did good in keeping me calm and informed. He briefed me on the exact procedure that he would be carrying out the treatment. He would spray the attic and strategic areas around around the home with pesticide, then a subsequent spray of some chemical to flush out the hiding bugs to expose them to the poison, and that I would have to leave the home for at least 3 hours to reduce my exposure to chemical fumes. I came back 3 hrs later and found a few dead cockroaches, silverfish, and spiders on the floor...so it worked that the bugs were flushed out. I was concerned when I continued to find dead silverfish and spiders some 2 days later and in panicked state, I contacted Pacific about this and Victor called me soon after to reassure me that this was normal, that the flushing out of the bugs was working, and that I would experience such increased activity for several days before they'd all be flushed out and killed. And to show how truly honest Victor is, I asked him if I needed to have a regular spraying every month or semi yearly, etc.? He said that the chemical used was strong enough that I only needed a spraying once a year. However, I will likely arrange a spraying every 6 months just for peace of mind. I went overseas for a few weeks soon after and all the while fearing returning to a home filled with dead bugs on the floor.....what a sigh of huge sigh of relief that I came back and found no more dead bugs on the floor! Thanks so much Victor!!! Note....if you are start having bug or rodent problems, I'd suggest having it taken care of right away instead of expecting or hoping that it'll go away on its own....because it won't. read more

My technician was very professional, listened to my freaked out concerns, and took care of the problem. Very rarely do I leave negative feedback, however, this company is deserving. I had an appointment scheduled from 12-2. No one showed up so I called the company only to be placed on hold and told... "woops, nothing we can do. We can cancel the appointment." Uh... there's no point in cancelling considering the person didn't show up. I asked to speak to the manager and was placed on hold for another 5 minutes only to be transferred to her voicemail. I understand that things happen that causes a company to cancel. However, the company should be on top of it, such as calling their inspectors to make sure they are on time and en route. Not showing up on a Monday with no notice is not acceptable. If I'm unable to make an appointment, or running late, I call to give notice. I don't think it's too much to ask for the same. read more

We hired them last year during the pandemic to help with a rat problem. Was told if we had all units in our building get the service it would provide a lifetime warranty on there service to protect the house. We signed up all neighbors and paid the $700 each. they spent less then 1 hour at our house total, which was fine at the time thinking we could contact them in the future if any problems arose, figuring that's what all the tenants were paying extra for. Fast forward a year, and now they say our warranty expired 3 weeks ago, and they will not provide and service to our home. Their policy may be one year warranty, if that's the case then they have a very shady sales agent who lied to us to get us and our neighbors to sign up for the service. I cannot recommend this company if this is how they conduct business. read more

WOW!! All in one bee removal service was fantastic!! I got several quotes from different places. This company did everything including hive removal, sealing, replacing small hole in stucco, and retexturing and fogging my stucco. You can barely see where the work was done. Excellent job!! We saved up all year to pay $2500 to have this company come and fix our mice problem. They sealed up around our house but never got rid of the mouse problem in the house. Their traps and bait never caught one mouse. They first came out in January and now it's almost the end of March and we still have the same problem and we're out $2500. In the meantime, the mice continue to do damage to our home. Since their service, the mice have chewed through our refrigerator waterline causing a flood, and our dishwasher waterline causing a flood. Plus there is a brand new hole in our wall in one of the rooms where they have chewed through. I am thoroughly disgusted with this company because they never solved our problem and they took our $2500 anyway and just never followed up with us again. Buyer beware! Pros: - Fixed Ant problem - Received an extremely discounted price due to a scheduling error - Very pleasant technician Cons: - A couple spiders left in the corners of some of the rooms. (I specifically was looking to see if they got one in the bathroom and they missed it.) We have since taken care of the missed ones ourselves rather than deal with being out of the house for another 4 hours. - lots of webs left outside the property which was one major problem area we mentioned upfront. - had to wait a week for an appointment and then they put the wrong day so we almost had to cancel the whole thing after waiting around all morning the day he was supposed to show up Explanation of rating: I decided to rate them 4 stars for the massive effort they put in trying to make the scheduling mistake they made, right. And for the professionalism of the technician who arrived. This company seems to take their reputation pretty seriously, which I can appreciate. So in regards to customer service, when utilizing yelp to contact the company, they were quite accommodating to fix their scheduling error. I just wish they would have been a bit more accommodating over the phone. In regards to the service, all in all I am happy not to see any ants in the house. After about 2-3 weeks we were still having our pest problem so I called and they came right back out to spray again without a question asked. Kevin was the worker that came out both times and he was amazing each time, explaining what he was going to do and answering all our questions. I had a very positive experience with Pacific Pest Control. Their staff is super-friendly and efficient. Their fees were reasonable. After finding fresh rat droppings in my attic, I need a service that would guard my property against further infestation. Pacific did just that. They set baited traps in my attic and under my house, and came back weekly (three times), to see if any rodents had been caught. There were none! They threw in a new sub-door for gaining entrance under my house, as the one I had was pretty flimsy. I highly recommend this company! read more
