I had Tyler do my actual work last year, and now this year he came out to check for termites and any structural framework needed. I thought he was great last year, and he now can do the quotes and get the people who need to replace some wood damaged by the termites, painted et.al. So we been hearing noises in the walls at night, sometimes scratching, sometimes rustling, and sometimes running. My wife was spooked, eventually we stayed up to see what it was, and we realized that it was rats, our house was and attic was full of em! went on yelp and saw pacific pest with good reviews and called em up. They came out and showed me that rats have been living up in the attic for years together by showing me the droppings, and the holes they enter and exit from. AND we were making it easy for the critters by putting creeper plants next to the house, so they can just climb up the plants and into the house. All of this info was giving to us by the tech, We removed the creeper plants and they sealed up the holes, got rid of the rats. Because they have been living in the attic for so long, their droppings made the insulation unusable, we dont want to be breathing in rat poop and our insulation was prolly over 20+ years old anyways. We got new insulation done by them as well. I have shopped around before I committed on this company, They gave the best price with a long warranty period. I found other company who do it cheaper, but they only have a 15-30 day warranty or something. These guys would come out to my place for 6 months after the service was done, until the problem was gone. That alone is worth it. After a few months, I noticed the central A/C in my room was not blowing as hard as before. so I thought since they were here, they maby covered something up. They came out took a look, and showd me that my duct system is ancient. and it had been on life support for a LONG TIME... They showed me why I was getting low air, its because there was a duct tape leak, someone used duct tape in the past to cover a leak, and now that tape is peeling. They re-tapped it and I was getting good flow again. Would have never know to change duct work if it werent for them. OH and they gave me a free spray for spiders, thats awesome! Oh and I also asked for the termite treatment too, because we had termites. We got a good deal because we got insulation, termite work, and rat. RECOMMENDED! read more

Great service! We had a mice and problem it was solved in about a week. Detail oriented on the infestation prevention. Gaps under roof tiles and siding meticulously filled with mesh and caulking. Snap traps effective and checked multiple times. Gap at bottom of garage door was even repaired. Nothing toxic was used. Also used them for termite inspection and they were thorough. Friendly, competent crew that cares about the customer. Every call to and from the company was with solid, friendly, helpful customer service. Wow, how refreshing! This review is very late, partly because I wanted to see if their work held up and partly because after that I never got around to it. They were great. At my parents' house in Orange, there was a severe rat issue in the attic. Craig came out and gave the best quote. Less than a few thousand compared to other companies that came out. We really liked their approach to fix the problem as well...another company would only seal up rat entrances but required we hire rodent exterminators. They were also more expensive than Craig's. We were happy to field a few quotes to find the best service. He gave us honest work...his workers did ding up the air conditioner, but they were really honest and upfront and took care of the issue and he fixed it without trying to escape from responsibility, like a professional. He did the job about 3 years ago, we never had to worry about rats again. Would definitely use him again, but luckily never had to :). Thanks Craig!! read more

READ THE FINE PRINT!!!!! We had ant issues last October and decided to go with PPC's 1 year service plan, paid everything up front. The first appointment was good, even though they completely forgot about our appointment but the owner showed up himself at our front door 2 hours after I called to remind them. He treated both the exterior and interior of my house and the treatment was effective. The rest of the visits were surprising but fine. We were told during the first visit that someone from PPC would email us one week prior to their scheduled visit. However, what happened to us was that the technicians just showed up at our front door and sprayed our front and back yard. ( once, one of the technicians did call me when he was on his way to our house though). Since each time, either me or my husband happened to be home and the ants haven't returned, we were ok with these surprises. Then, on October 7th, their technician showed up at our front door again, my husband let him spray our front and back yard, thinking it should just be another "surprise" visit and they haven't visited and treated our house since May. Sadly, we were wrong. 2 weeks later, we received an invoice with a balance of $109 from PPC, which caught us by "surprise" again... I called and talked to a nice operator and she said she would get back to me but NOTHING until my 4th call in 2 weeks. On the email communication I received later, it stated that I am responsible for the payment becauase the 1 year contract is automatically renewable on a month to month basis and may be canceled anytime after the first 12 month by either party giving a 30 days written notice, and since I did not give them notice, my contract got automatically extended... Well, I definitely learned my lesson - READ THE FINE PRINT: An one year contract is not an one year contract...But I also feel that I am being taken advantage of being a loyal customer of 12 months. A little heads-up would've been nice. This experience makes me feel that I can't trust any business. Not happy with how this ended. read more

I and my son both have asthma, and my son has health issues, and I feel more comfortable knowing that they use a natural/organic spray for our outdoor areas. I avoid doing any of it indoor. Use these guys. If you need help with rodents or termites, use them. Chris came to our home and he was very soft spoken, respectful and professional. We showed him where we saw the rat in our garage, and he found it. He was able to catch it. He also did a thorough inspection of the exterior of our home, and our attic. He was clean, wore booties inside the home and very honest. Instead of scaring us and upselling us, he reassured us that we had no entry points and that there was no evidence of rats or termites in our attic. Awesome right? They charge $395 for a month of rodent extermination service, but our problem was more likely a rat that wandered into our garage. So we decided not to get the service and Chris charged us... nothing. We had already purchased the $49 yelp deal so we decided we will use it towards borate treatment for our attic which will prevent termite infestations for over 20 years. Clearly Pacific Pest values customer service and courtesy. I wish all companies were like them! read more

After an inspection to close escrow on a property in a really nice home in Laguna Niguel and learning that there were many rats in the attic, I contacted Pacific Pest Control for help. They were prompt, did great work with patching up several tiny openings that were all the rodents needed to go in and out of the attic. They removed the insulation, sanitized the attic, and installed new insulation after we closed escrow as they made sure the process was handled correctly to not have the same problem again. The workers were courteous, prompt, and did an overall great job! As an experienced realtor, I have used other similar companies and Pacific Pest Control was by far the most professional, reasonably priced, and did the best work! read more

Owner came for an inspection about half an hour late outside of the time window provided. Most expensive quote received by far and did not apply coupon price even though I mentioned it, had to go find the coupon they left at my door and hand it to over to get the discount applied to the quote. Said was going to go up on a ladder to check out the extent of the damage in the garage, but did not. Asked about that at the end of the inspection, and was told they would check the other areas in the garage during the treatment. Kept pushing extended warranties/plans. While very nice and personable, felt creepy some of the personal questions that were asked (i.e. who lived here, when going back to work, etc.). It could very well have been just small talk though, but just my opinion. read more

We hired the company to come get rid of our rats in our attic in November. They came out and did an inspection and said there was definitely a rat problem. We hired them for there services which was to find all entry points and seal them, and then set traps and monitor. They found the entry points and patched them with cement which was great but when it came to the attic, they never fully got in our attic to inspect. They set the traps right by the attic access panel and nothing more. There work was guaranteed for 60 days but the exterminator said that we should worry about it cause they block all the entry points to get in and they can't get in. They monitored for a total of 4 weeks, coming back to check the traps they set by the entry point but never caught any rat. We never heard the sounds in the 4 weeks so they asked it they could cease checking for the remainder of the time and asked us to call if we heard anything. We said fine but we're still annoyed by the lack of inspection in the attic. Cut to now, we heard the noises again. Obviously the entry points were not sealed. I crawled up in my attic and crawled over to the spots of the noises and found nests that look like they were being utilized by rats. The costs were close to $900 for their service which was subpar in our experience, we were under the impression that someone would be getting up in our attic and cleaning to ensure it was caught. Now we have rats again and will be looking for another company to help, to ensure they get in the attic to do a full inspection and find all entry points. Update: Got a call from the company. They had a rep come out and inspect the house again. Got up on the roof and checked every possible opening point. They replaced more screens and gave more recommendations. The rep told us to call back if we heard any additional noises. He was really informative and helped a lot. I appreciate the company trying to make things right. read more

We discovered a rodent problem after closing on our house a year and a half ago. We called Pacific Pest Control after a quick search for companies in the area. They sealed entry points, cleaned the problem areas, blew new insulation and checked in often. We haven't had a problem in our house since. We also have them spray outside our house for spiders and rarely see bugs inside the house. They email us when they will be out and email with a report after they've left. They will come out in between sprays if needed, but we haven't needed them to yet! They are reliable and professional and we are happy to continue working with them. read more

I heard rats in my attic on Christmas morning. From 2-5 AM I listened to them moving around over my bedroom, and finally couldn't stand it anymore so at 4 AM I hopped on Yelp and put out a blast request for quote to 5 companies. The owner, Craig, responded about 25 minutes later, before 5 AM! He offered to call me as soon as he got to the office a few hours later, or said I could use their online scheduling, which I did and set up the first available time. Michael came and inspected my attic, the crawl space under my house, and numerous entry points around my house. He was very knowledgeable and I felt like I would receive very competent service. He was understanding that I was getting multiple quotes, and told me several questions to ask the other companies to make I knew what I needed to make an informed decision. The cost for my job was quite expensive, but Pacific Pest Control's price was right in line with the other quote I received. I needed some additional scope that PPC does not provide so I ended up using the other company. The only reason I'm not giving 5-stars is because I didn't actually use them, but I wanted to provide a review because based on what interaction I did have with them, I felt confident they would have done a good job if I had used them. read more

We had our house fumigated for termites and came home to find a very nasty odor - dead rat smell. I called them yesterday and Chris came first thing this morning. He inspected the attic and the house and found an drain outside that runs under the house. He flushed out the drain and removed not only the dead rat, but it's nest and droppings. Then he installed a screen over the drain! And then disinfected the hose and drain. Very nice and obviously thorough! read more

Home inspector found there is rats' dropping in attic and I called Craig and he came in the afternoon on the same day for free consultation. He called me to let me know he will be 2 minutes late which I might not even notice if he did not call me. He came with everything prepared, headlight, cell phone to take picture and even goes to the roof as part of attic is difficult to see clearly. He is very detail oriented and show me all the pictures he took and give me a price quote right away. The cost is high as the problem is serious, so I am not sure whether I should walk away from the house. But I do want to thank Craig for his excellent job. The other company I called will charge $250 directly to put the trap rather than coming out to identify the problem, comparing to that, I think high of Craig's attitude and work. If I get the house and want to fix it, I will work with him. read more

Had an inspection scheduled for today and nobody showed up, got a missed call from the front desk and called back like normal people do just to have her raise her voice at me saying "I don't know I don't know" over and over. Normally really good service but lately seems they've gotten too big and are starting to lose what made them great when they were a smaller company starting out. Just had a scheduled monthly service call for 330pm that I waited for all day only to have no one show up and no call. I called at 4pm and they need to reschedule to a date that doesn't work for me and tell me that's all they have. Their screw up yet don't accommodate me being inconvenienced. Maybe time to switch. Lots of other pest control services.--They ended up calling back and were able to come out late the same day. I appreciate them trying to make it right. read more

The owner, Craig, came to our duplex and spent over an hour thoroughly examining every section , including our detached four car garage , taking photos along with drawing a precise diagram of our two level duplex and the garages. We chose to have the large amount of termite infested wood on the exterior removed . Craig's personal contractors, Tyler and Chris, spent three days removing the damaged areas and did an amazing job matching the paint on the new replacements. They were very professional and kept us informed on the progress with great diligence. They also injected termidor into the exterior deck roof siding. We will continue to use Pacific Pest Control for annual inspections and highly willl recommend them! read more

Really underwhelming experience and had to keep them accountable to their own offered obligations. If I could go less than one star, I would. I'll try to make this short. Had them fumigate right under 2 years ago and when they finished they told me there was a breach in the tent. Once it was safe to go in, nothing seemed to be stolen and we parted ways. Then about 6 months later I contacted PPI and told them I had termite droppings thru kick outs in the garage in two places. I was told that the dropping were old and probably dropped due to wind or vibration. Later, More evidence of termites showed up, I then contacted them again this past October via multiple methods and multiple times to finally have them come to look around this past Christmas time. Told me they would need to send an inspector from the fume company, since PPI does not perform the work themselves, they sub it out, and that someone would contact me. No one did. I waited patiently. Time goes by, I reached out again in February and finally got the manager Luisa at PPI to acknowledge they would get someone out to inspect. Inspection was done, half arsed and was told they would perform spot treatments. I told them this was unacceptable as I now had multiple locations through the house that exhibited new termite dropping and had recently had a swarm. Just know that This company offers a two year warranty, which you may think is a nice deal, though know that the Calif Structural Pest Control Board mandates to any and all fumigation companies that they back their fume job for 2 years. So another inspection was done again with the PPI rep and saw first hand the droppings/evidence of live termites in my house. Said they would schedule a no charge fume job. Again told me that someone would get back to me to set up the job. You guessed it, silence. I reached out again and pushed them to give me in writing that they would perform the fumigation job, gratis on the days originally agreed to. My concern was that I was not going to be able to get this job done before the warranty expired. Finally holding them to account, though had to ask multiple and multiple times for their Inspection reports and the "WOOD DESTROYING PESTS AND ORGANISMS INSPECTION REPORT". It's imperative that you get these reports as if you have a big problem they state control board is going to ask for these. They were never given to me and am glad I figured out I needed them. All in all, their service levels are less than to be desired. Really, really disappointed. Granted I got the warranty work performed, though it was like hurding cats and extremely frustrating to keep the accountable to the things they offered/promised they would perform. I would not recommend them and would hope that you do your homework and throughly vet and gain referrals for the pest control company you choose. read more

The technician stopped by and walked through my home and we went thru the areas. He was very thorough, helpful. He said to wait for a week to see the results for the ants and spiders issues. I contacted Pro Pacific because of rats in my attic. An inspector came out and said that we did a good job sealing of the outside and all that was need were traps. They placed traps for 4 weeks a caught one rat and then took the traps away. I had another company come out because we still had rats and they did a through check and said we had rats in air ducts and in the attic. and fresh droppings were all around. Suggested removal insulation due to urine and droppings. Ourside needed more closure. I checked the attic with the inspector to make sure I was told the correct thing. I tried contacting Pro Pacific and could not get a response. I played phone tag with Rick and finally gave up. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We had rats, they charged me and caught one rat and we still have rats. I have contracted with another company to do the job right! read more

Rigo, Karina and the whole team were very impressive from start to finish. Everyone my wife and I came in contact with were knowledgeable and genuinely cared to help us with the noisy rodents in the attic. I called a few other places and was told I would receive a call back, but this was the only business that was available from the first call and I spoke to someone immediately who setup the consultation for the same day. At the initial consult, Rigo was very thorough and even offered to tackle the ants we have been battling in the kitchen for the last few weeks. He returned the next day to spray and no more ants. So thrilled to be ant free. The following day when the construction team was scheduled to seal up the house entry points for the rodents, they found more openings than originally anticipated and proceeded to check and seal all points of entry to complete the whole job.
