First time to write a review, do it all for Dot, for the amazing work he and his employees had done to my Mercedes ML. I had an accident two weeks ago. I rear ended an Acura in the parking lot when I was in tahoe snowboarding. Luckily no one got hurt and both cars were still able to drive. My front bumper was crack, the grille was broken, the hood got push up and the right headlamp was loose. WTF, I was driving less than 10mph and it happened in the parking lot. How could it cause that much damage? Mercedes!!!!! Anyway not to mention the damage to the Acura MDX that I hit, it has much less damage. After I got back to the bay area, I called AAA, they told me about using one of their network shops, but my brother wanted me to go to Pro Speed and he told me all the good works they had done to his friends. So I dropped by pro speed the first thing on Monday morning. My brother had called ahead. Dot know I was coming, he had all the paper work ready when I got here. I gave him my claims info and he arranged the rental car for me with hertz and even gave me a ride there and told me he will take care of the rest for me. Things were going so smoot. I don't know if he treat me so nice because he knows my brother or maybe he is that nice to all his customers. I like the way they do business here. The next day Dot called me and said AAA had approved the estimate for the repair. wow! I thought it would take a few more days before they can touch my car. They were so busy when I left my car. Another call from him on thursday said all the parts arrived the repair will be completed next Thursday which is yesterday. As Dot said he would call me when the car is ready. He called me yesterday morning and told me the car is ready for pick up. I returned the rental car to hertz after work and they gave me a ride to the body shop. when I saw my car again I just can't believe my eyes. My 4 year old ML look like new again. They replaced the bumper, grille heahlamps, radiator support and the hood and painted the whole front end. They also buff out the old scratch on the rear door and touch up the rear bumper at no charge to me. The clean all the mess int side the car from the trip and washed out all the dirt from driven on the snow. Now the car is clean and shiny. Amazing! What a great job Dot! Whenever I need work on my car again, pro speed will be my first choice. I will tell all my friends about this. read more

When I back up from the parking garage in union square, i turned too much and hit the wall with my front bumper and the fender. the spaces are so tight there. I think they really need to change. my bumper was loose and touching the floor. really pissed me off. I called my friend Ron who's a mechanic and asked him what to do. He told me to take the car to his friend Dot's body shop and he would help me. the body shop is not too far from union square, so I drove the car there with the bumper hanging. When I got to the shop, Dot was so nice, he took my car inside, took some photos and gave me an estimate to replace the bumper and head light and repair the fender on my Prius. because is my fault, so i had to pay out of my own pocket. no insurance involved. Dot gave me %25 off the labor. what a good deal! he really did a favor to Ron. thanks. He also told me that he will still do all the work as listed on his estimate and the warranty also applied to the repair even I pay the lower price.Great!. as they promised, the car was ready on this saturday morning. I was at work when dot called me. and here another reason that I have to write this review for him. It was Saturday, they supposed to close at 4pm. Dot waited there for me until 5:30. sorry for the delay, I got stuck at work. He was so patien. by the time me and my wife got there. he was the only one there. and we look at the car, it looked like new again. they did a excellent job the the repair and they also took care of many of the scratches on the other panels. we were very happy about the repair. Not only the work is perfectly done. dot also gave me instructions how to get the hybrid sticks replaced through DMV which i thought it would be gone after the bumper replaced. This is my frist time have my car fixed here. but dot treated me like an old friend. I really appreciated. lucky enough? I scratched the rear door of my car at the garage door. being curious, i went to a body shop near my house in millbrae, they quoted for $650 to have the whole door repainted. I remembered few weeks ago when i have my car fixed at Pro Speed, the owner told me if i have any question about cars, i can ask him for advise. since my last experience was great with them. when I drove in this morning. Dot recognised me, my last visit was less than 3 weeks ago. he look at the scratched on the door and said " don't worry about it jason, this just the paint transfered from the garage door. the paint on the car is still good. we can wet sand and buff out the scratches. it can be done by lunch time today. $40 for the work if you accept it." don't you have to paint the whole door? i handed him estimate from the other shop, he read the estimate and smile, " you really want to do that? i don't think so." of course not. please let me know it could be done your way. at 11:10am about, less than hour and half after I left. I got a call from the shop said that my car is ready. when i got there at 12:05pm. i saw my car outside waiting for me to pick up, i look at the door, no more scratches, look closer, still can't see any of the scratches. just as perfect as the rest of the car. they just did a wonderful job again. and all that only costed me $40. combined with my last experience here and compared to the shop who tried to rip me off. now I know why pro speed staying so busy even during this kind of economic crisis. that's because they are being so honest and professional. 2 accidents within a month is really piss me off, luckily i had found my auto shop who can take good care of me whenever I have a problem. i will suggest all my friends to go to pro speed for auto works. read more

I'm doing this in order to appreciate Dot's help. Last week, I parked my car in front of my friend's house near Mission Street. When I heard a sound, I came out and took a look. OH MY GOD!!!!!! It was my car. The guy was seriously drunk. He hit my car and ran immediately. I was trying to catch him but didn't get him finally. Because of that, I had to fix my car out of my pocket. Man, the left side of my car's body was all damaged. The damage could be seen clearly especially in black color. I was quite frustrated because my car was hit and I had to pay by myself. Fortunately, I found Dot and could seek for help from him. He helped me estimate the price first and figure out the best way to fix my car by explaining to me all the details. How nice Dot was!!! He could return my car on the date he promised. I was very impressed by his employees' work. My car was returned to me like new and I paid less than I usually did to other auto shops. read more

Have my Toyota Tundra towed here yesterday after accident. After the dealt with the rude chp officer and the rip off towing company. only good thing yesterday was to see Dot at Pro Speed Auto Body again. Feel so down after the accident. My 06 Tundra had really bad damage to the front end. They worked on my other car years ago. They did an excellent job. so first thing I can think of when I had this accident is to call them. They paid the tow bill for me and help me call AAA to report the accident and arrange to drop me off at Hertz to get a rental, helped me move my stuff from the truck to the rental. I didn't know that Pro Speed got Yelp. But I decided to write a review here. I met Dot 10 years ago cause by an accident I had at Milpitas and I was driving my Brand New 2000 Toyota Celica. I was so panic caused my car was towed to a impound yard. Dot actually guide me through the whole process on how do I pick up and scheduling the car transported to his shop. He fixed my car in 2 weeks and it's like new!! He also gave me 2 free exteriror detail also. I'd highly recommended this shop. Since I operate a used car/ wholesale company nowadays and I do send my cars there for minor repair very often, and Dot has been prompt on all my cars! My Lexus IS 250 was hit during the rainy day. I just bought my car a few months ago. Good thing was that my insurance company paid for my repair. My radio built in the car was broken also. It was not Dot's responsibility at all to go to the dealer in alameda to change it. I was supposed to do that. But Dot was very nice and drove all the way to alameda. It took him at least a few hours. I'd never seen such a nice guy before. He also got so many businesses to do. I wrote this because of Dot. I dropped off the car last week, they said it would take 10 days for the repair with the insurance process. Today is the 7th day.
