The owner is extremely rude. I arrived for my 10:00am appointment at 10:06am after getting turned around by GPS. The first thing he says to me is "It's 10:06, you must be new, my regulars are never late." This rubbed me the wrong way as a first impression, he then seemed to have an attitude with me from then on. He told me to leave the keys in the car and he would get to it quickly, which he did. My kids took the key from the car so I quickly went to give it to him, again he had an attitude. I said "I have a feeling you are upset with me or something, is there a problem?" He stated in a rude tone, "I just don't feel good today but I am forced to be here." I said "I'm sorry, but I'm still not feeling as though I am receiving good service." He said "I told you I don't feel good" I asked for the manager, he said he was the owner. My thoughts are, everyone has bad days and sick days, even if you are owner.. you don't have the right to treat people this way. I felt extremely disrespected and questioned if it was racism because I am a young woman of color with visible tattoos. He was not warm and friendly at all, I ended up telling him I didn't feel comfortable spending my money with his business. I didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer and did not trust him with my vehicle. Note to the owner, respect your customers. They fund your business and life. read more

I have to compliment the company on being polite and by far the cleanest and best decorated waiting area. Sounds like they have a great following. My concern is I have a 2015 Buick Verano and I was turned away for an oil change today. I was told that the issue was that on the Buick has a skid plate covering the oil pan and that there were too many small fasteners to remove. Also, that I had a top mount oil filter. Here is my issue... there was NO ONE else there and I was not in a hurry. This oil change normally costs me up to 90 dollars for the time and type of oil, full synthetic. I have had the car for years and never once have ever been told no by any other service center. I was actually baffled. For clarity, the removal of the plastic pliable skid plate is easy. 4 or 5, 7mm, fasteners and bend down the plate or just use a Pig Funnel https://www.jebiga.com/pig-form-funnel-draining-tool/.The oil filter is easy too. Drain it with provided tool, unscrew housing, replace filter and provided o-rings. While understand that it was not going to be a 10 minute oil change, I still do not understand the reason it was declined. My initial impression was very positive by looks but went quickly sour. Probably the nicest waiting room I've ever waited in...for oil change places. It beats the Pediatrician's office waiting room for sure. TV, massage chairs, aromatherapy (which is probably just a Glade Plug-in, but it beats the aroma of tires any day), clean bathrooms. Oil changes--speedy. Service--friendly. I had a problem with the hood of my car not closing properly and I thought I would have to take it back to the dealer. I didn't even mention the problem to the service guy when I brought the car for an oil change. But after driving home, I thought I was seeing things--it was fixed! It was probably some minor issue, but the fact that I wasn't billed was impressive. Don't go here if you plan on using the $20 Yelp coupon. When I showed them their coupon on their Yelp page they said they didn't know it was still there said that they don't honor that coupon any longer. This is the best place around for an oil change. Very quick (in and out in less than 10 minutes), priced very reasonable (under $30), very friendly and no pressure for additional services. I recently had my oil changed here and they pointed out that my coolant level was low. I let them know that I could top it off myself and they're totally OK with that. Getting an oil change sucks. Let's be perfectly honest with ourselves. It seems your choices are, pay less at more general mechanic and wait at least an hour for them to get to it, or go to a ten-minute place and pay a hefty sum. And of course there's a good chance both types of places will give you hell if you dared go a mile over 3,000 since your last change (as if most of us don't know that 3,000 miles is a joke meant to trick people into getting more oil changes than they need). Or they'll find all sorts of other things "wrong" with your car, in hopes you'll drop a few hundred for what was supposed to be a 20-40 dollar trip. That's why Pro-Stop is actually pretty great. It's the best of both the mechanic oil change and the quick lube without any of the bad stuff. For about 25 bucks, they'll change your oil in about ten minutes. They'll recommend some other services for things that are usually good to get taken care of, like getting your antifreeze/coolant topped off or getting your air-filter replaced for reasonable prices, but they'll never try to pull the wool over your eyes and try to get you to pay for some pointless snake oil treatment for your car. Also, ladies, they actually have a female mechanic there, so you can rest assured this isn't the type of place that thinks women don't know anything about cars and will fall for anything. I've been here a few times, and while it's not the absolute cheapest option, the price is reasonable, especially for the service you receive. And not having my intelligence insulted is definitely worth a few extra bucks. read more

Fast service is correct. They are so fast that Megan left my air filter housing opened on my 2010 Mustang, even after I told her oil change only. She was so fast that her intentional, maybe? Mistake cost me $28 for an oil change and $250.00 in repairs. Consumers beware! Stay away from this place. I had my Mustang for less than 6 months and this was the ONLY place under my hood. I have been going to ProStop for over 10 years. They are by far THE BEST place around. I have a bit of a drive to get there, but so worth my time. They are quick, super nice people and dog lovers. I bring my dog with and they always give him a treat and they remember his name. The waiting room is beyond comfortable and always decorated so cute for the holidays. I have been going there for the past few years and thought it was time to write a review. I have been to big oil chains and small shops and they all try to upsell their oil changes. Pro Stop will only let you know if they find a problem with something. My last visit they were able to do the oil change with my sleeping child in the car. Then to our surprise they left two Easter eggs filled with candy in the cup holders for the kids. I have told several friends and family about them that now go there. My oil cap was broken and Mike tried looking for a spare one which they didn't have. Since he didn't want me to drive off like that he let me borrow the cap from his vehicle.. who does that anymore?! I've been taking my car and my wife's car here for about a year now. I've been to all sorts of oil locations, and recently the corporate shops have really jacked their prices up, and try to compensate by offering "coupons" to make you feel better about getting a $40 conventional oil change. If you do an oil change on your own you spend less than $20 plus your time. At Pro-Stop, it is only $25, and they change the oil super fast. Their attitude is fun-loving and they make you feel at home. The last time I went is what prompts me to write this review. I have had newer, premium wiper blades on my car for only a few months, and they have only caused me problems. The female tech noticed this issue as well and I said they were relatively new, and she just wanted to see if their blades worked better (even though you are paying a bit extra to get it from the shop) without obligation to buy them. They worked like a charm and I immediately had her install the blades. With winter approaching it is a breath of fresh air. Most oil places will also push all sorts of services on you. I had to ask THEM if my air filter was ok because I hadn't checked it in awhile. She said it was fine and it did not need to be replaced. I will continue going here! read more

Fast, fair oil change with no pressure for add-ons or services you don't need. I live very close and wouldn't dare think of going anywhere else. I have taken both family cars here, and recently, took my Kia Soul for it's first change. As always, fast, friendly service for a great price. After leaving and parking car in garage, I came back to car the next day and realized I had a small oil leak spot on the concrete. As this was the first oil change, I thought maybe the filter or seal was bad. I took it back, they checked it out, and told me that the drain plug gasket was no good ( they usually last a year, but heh, it's a Kia from South Korea ). They replaced the gasket for no extra charge, and I was only there 5 minutes. This is the definition of excellent customer service. Honesty goes a long way in my book, and they have earned my business ten times over with this gesture.
