I am extremely unhappy that the Evenup shoe balancer I ordered was sent out six days after ordering it. I called customer service after five days and was assured it would be mailed that day, but it didn't go out until I had inquired again a day later. THE worst. Medical supplies that you have to wait an eternity to receive. I live in Illinois. My item was shipped from Georgia. It took two weeks to receive. Their website says they ship within 24 hours. What they do is print the shipping label and e-mail you within 24 hours. They use a combination of UPS and USPS to ship cheaply and s l o w l y. I contacted customer service and they said their investigation of where my item was would take 5-10 days. It was a generic e-mail. Very frustrating when you have a loved one in pain. Not recommended. Perhaps the worst company I have ever worked with. Their employees lied to us after we bought an Infrarex heating therapy machine. It started out missing the extra bulb. I asked for a replacement for the bulb only. That didn't happen. Then the machine stopped getting hot. They told me to send it back, and they would replace it. There was an RA number, so I sent it back at my expense. Then they sent me an RA by email, two weeks later. It cost me more to send it back then the item cost. Following this they claimed they issued me a credit to my checking account. That did not happen. After an investigation by my bank, they confirmed that no funds transferred. I even wrote the CEO, who did not write me back. Even one star is too generous. read more

I asked for a refund for the one day shipping and asked them to change it to two-day shipping so it can arrive for my next game. After placing a LARGE and EXPENSIVE order, it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to respond to me on the phone or via email when I had valid and time-sensitive questions. Once they finally did, they agreed to exchange 2 of the items that did not work (b/c they were horrible quality- NOT as described!!!). I pre-paid for the item I was to receive in exchange. When I went to ship the items back, I discovered that the cheapest way to mail them would cost me almost AS MUCH AS THE 2 PRODUCTS cost (literally). I was sent Kinesio tape- that should stick to your skin and be water proof thru showering, bathing, swimming & sweating for at least 5 days.Wit in 24 hrs tape would start to come off your skin & did not adhere well. i contacted company (Pro therapy) with in a week of receiving it. Gave it 5 days with a second try to adhere to my skin & ordered special skincote swaps that helps the "usual sticky Kinesio tape from pulling your skin off. I was asked if I wanted a refund or another replacement product. i said replacement product would be fine. Then was told there were out of stock. Now I have been trying to get a refund label for over 5 days and still have yet to get one after being told it would be emailed to me immediately. This was obviously an old product. It would be the similiar to a cloth band-aid falling off- and this should be stickier. This item cost $65.00 I have not have this problem with any other company. very poor customer service. i will need this product for the rest of my life. Evenup Shoe Balancer...The website said get Medium for man with a size 10.5 shoe, so we did. Guess what. It was too small. By half an inch at least. So I called on my husband's behalf, and they told me they would not pay for return shipping and would take 15 percent restocking fee. And if I wanted to pay for Large, I would have to pay the expedited shipping. Now, my husband broke his foot and was in a walking boot and we were about to leave on a vacation, so we needed the Large Evenup ASAP. And even though we were not at fault, the company refused to ship it to us at their cost. To their credit, they did, after two days of phone calling, offer us free return shipping and full reimbursement on Evenup, but we decided that rather than pay an additional $8 for this piece of plastic, we would make do with the too-small Evenup Balancer. It was NOT PLEASANT talking with them because I had to stay assertive and point out that we had followed their instructions and the instructions were incorrect! read more

The experience was went very well. They do honor price matching! the process was not as painful as I thought it would be. I emailed them and they responded timely, with an actual phone number to an assigned sales person. I order a back belt to use at the gym. I needed it in a hurry and I was worried that it would not come in time or that it was the wrong item. Alert: Senior Citizens! If you are looking for a company that will bill Medicare for a device, don't use ProTherapy Supplies. They advertise this on their website, but after six weeks of filling out their forms, getting two doctors' authorization, numerous phone calls which were never returned, emails not returned, I finally had to stay on the line for 20 minutes to talk to "Kathy" who handles Medicare. (And what is it with their phone lines? They sound they are in Anartica talking in a wind tunnel.) I was finally told the device would be sent out the next day. HA! A week-and-a-half later I had to call again, and wait 20 minutes to talk to someone again, and then was told it would be sent the next day. When I finally got it, there were two forms included (which I could not understand) with a man's name and phone number I should call. I did, and never got a call back. There was no invoice, no packing slip--nothing indicating that a Medicare claim had been filed. But then two days later, Kathy calls me (again from inside a wind tunnel in outer Mongolia), offering me a plan to "rent to own". What?? What happened to Medicare? After I protested, she changed her story about my payment---now it was 20% I had to pay right away even though I had given her my information about my supplemental Medicare policy weeks ago. Then she tells me that ProTherapy does not handle Medicare claims but uses another company to file my claim. And on and on. And finally I surrendered--to the worst customer service I can remember. I returned the device. I am done. I don't know if "Kathy is incompetent, or the company encourages lying and manipulation, or both. I find this particularly bad since they are dealing with senior citizens who may be more vulnerable to this type of manipulation. I won't ever use this company again. I broke my ankle while at my daughters home in Virginia. We are Louisiana residents. I ordered a knee crutch to enable me to have more mobility because I will have to stay off my leg entirely for approximately 6 weeks. My order was canceled because they suspected it to be fraud because the shipping address was different from the billing address. At no time was I contacted to verify my identity or questionable addresses; my order was just cancelled in its entirety. I had to send them a photo of my drivers license, the credit card I used and photos of my daughters and son-in-law's drivers license to substantiate the shipment being sent to my daughters home address. They stated they could ship the product to my Louisiana address which I explained would be of no benefit to me since I was in Virginia at my daughters home and this is where I broke my leg and needed the product to be shipped. I totally understand fraud and fraudulent purchases that are made online, but this purchase only one day after I broke my ankle was very aggravating to me and I felt a simple phone call would have alleviated any suspected fraud. This company went way too far with needing verification of addresses. I do like the knee crutch but I won't order from them again unless they're the only manufacturer of a product. read more

I called Pro Therapy and was on hold more than 20 minutes. Finally used the online comment site; after 15 minutes there, the rep sent me a paragraph indicating tubing is not continuous. If you order 25', you don't need a few feet here and a few feet there. Yes, I can return it but only in their original shipping which is a large box, pay fir the return and pay a 15% re-stocking fee. read more

Horrible customer service! Ordered two Rehband elbow braces. One arrived...the other never did. No one contacted me. I contacted them and after two tries someone from customer service got back to me and told me that they would look in to it. No response after that. I contacted them again & they simply stated the order was cancelled because not in stock. I asked about a refund. They told me they would issue one. They did not, I had to get my credit card company to handle the disputed charge. Use Amazon instead...I ordered the missing elbow brace from them, it came the next day, and billed properly.
