I use them for lawn treatments. It includes fertilizations, weed control and pest control. I'm not unfamiliar with turf maintenance. During the quote process I found them to be the most knowledgable and provided me with a program that fit my needs at a very competitive price. Problem Solved Pest Control does not solve problems they cause them! They destroyed our lawn and over charged us. We signed an annual contract for lawn maintenance but Problem Solved charged us one off fees beyond the contract fee and DID NOT maintain our lawn, they took our money and ruined our lawn. They sent various "managers" to evaluate our lawn and it was always a different story, too much water, not enough water, fungus, no fungus, etc. We also used them for pest control, more issues! we had an infestation of Palmetto bugs, per their own tech they "forgot to schedule our regular treatment", when I questioned their office they told me that their tech misspoke. Six visits later we finally got the Palmettos un der control. Total mess!!! read more

SKIP THIS COMPANY! I don't know if this is a franchise of a larger conglomerate or it's a "mom and pop shop" but whoever is hoping to make a living by owning this place in Punta Gorda first off, needs to get themselves organized and fire the snarky "Hannah" person that called with with an attitude as big as the earth today...we never wanted to have to use chemicals and take such measures to control weeds and pests but unfortunately, the SWFL climate left us no choice - so we were a little lazy (mea culpa without out doubt) and went with a company that we "saw signs all around our neighborhood for" - we never looked on line, never asked anyone for a referral, we just "went with who everyone else seemed to be going with" , period, end of story. For the last few years, I received a call religiously each month from a very polite (way so polite) young man who would tell me that he was coming out to treat my property (2 properties actually) I live at the house 1/2 the year, each time I return to my one house, my lawn is brown, half dead and I've found grubs...I did complain once, was told that it was just coming up to the time of year to treat for that particular pest and that it would not be an ongoing issue. There is some kind of weed that definitely disappeared with their treatment (think it's called Florida snow? little white annoying flowering weeds) but a whole other kind of weed that I would literally have to spend a full week HAND PULLING OUT OF MY LAWN , filling up 30 lawn bags worth every January, that clearly is not being controlled by their "treatment". Well, today's "treatment" was receiving an automated call telling me that I was about to be sent to collections for an over due bill. I tried calling but got a voice mail. A couple hours later I received a phone call (now this is all happening while I am on vacation out of the country) from "Hannah" telling me that she is "looking forward to sending me a copy of all of the invoices that were sent to me via email". I checked every mail box, yes, spam as well, and have ZERO invoices besides the one sent July 1st, paid on July 2, today is July 8....besides this total aggravation and unprofessional behavior, my lawn never looked good ANYWAY, so lesson learned, I was lazy, I got them, now I fired them. Save yourself the same bother, take a minute, so some more research, find a better company. read more

I am the "next door neighbor" who did not hire anyone. Two days before Christmas this company liberally sprayed my neighbors on both sides of our home. We have been sick with nausea and vomitting. My BP Is at a very dangerous 200/100. My lips still burn, my lungs are burning and I can't catch my breath. The dog is listless and throwing up. My husband feels "not good". The product sprayed by this company is viciously toxic. It is Dec 29. The toxins continue. We are still sick, our Christmas ruined. I am afraid to go to sleep for fear of not waking up from stroke. How do these horrors continue to happen?? This garbage is banned in every other country. Why is this allowed here? The neighbor three doors down confided her beautiful butterflies chrysalis's have all died. Her older cat is throwing up and very sick. Apparently all this is legal. Looking for a Lawyer. read more

They have a veteran discount. They call ahead. If you spot some ants or bugs in between visits they will drop by. There products are pet friendly once they dry. They leave a nice sign in your yard which I regard as a status symbol. read more

We had Problem Solved come out for termites. We knew we had them, we just needed a quote. The serviceman was here for about 20 minutes. Never received the quote, but I did receive a bill in the mail for $89!!!!!! I'm still so pissed about this! I will pay it, but I will NEVER, EVER, use this company. We had high hopes when we called them to control our ant problem and they said the ant problem would be solved. However our ants are still everywhere, no "Problem Solved" at all. When we called the sales person he wouldn't call us back. We called the company to get the "Problem Solved" and they came out but we still have ants. Not sure why they say they will solve our problem when they cannot. Too bad, was hoping we didn't have ants anymore. I will call another company to see if they are better. read more

i paid Problem Solve $890.00 to install a camera and 2 traps in my 1 year old attic as I hear and saw rodent feces. They never came back to check the camera and traps and I am still hearing whatever it is in my attic. The office manager said he would refund my money but never did. I have been with this company for over a year. I have been told several times that if I were to have a problem, just call and they would return. Two days ago I had a severe ant problem in my driveway. There were ants all over my vehicles. I called Problem Solved. A technician called and said he would be out the next day. He didn't show up or call. Two days later he arrived. He said he would spray and put out ant traps. Three days later I went outside and found ants all over my vehicles. The problem appeared worse. I called Problem Solved and requested a technician return and take care of the problem. I was told that it would take 10-14 days and the ants would be gone. I told the representative that was unsatisfactory. She said she would have a supervisor call. A supervisor called and refused to send out a technician even though I told him there were no ant traps. I told him I was no longer a customer. I would find another company. Problem Solved!!! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Problem Solved started out with a bang; they were on time, on site and took care of our immediate issue. When we moved into the service and maintenance period of our relationship, that's where they fell flat. My wife and I got our wires crossed and missed a payment to them. I called in, gave their accounting staff my credit card and authorization for immediate payment, only asking that they come back out and take care of our pest problem. Problem Solved promised us that if we had any issues with pests between quarterly service, just call and they'll send a tech back out to spray again. Not only did they not send a tech out, they failed to charge my card despite my authorization to do so immediately. After weeks went by without a visit from Problem Solved, I contacted the office manager, John, to find out why they had failed to follow through. John advised me that I hadn't made a payment! I suggested he look back through the notes on my account and he found that I had done my part, given a method of payment and authorization to use it! He couldn't explain why they hadn't charged my card, nor why they hadn't come back out. After weeks of phone calls not returned, I finally spoke to the director, Joel. Joel heard me out, understood that we both had failed in our commitments, yet still demanded 100% payment for services. I will pay this bill rather than have a collection, but I will never use Problem Solved again. Should anyone care to ask whom to use for pest control in their home, I can 100% guarantee it will not be Problem Solved that I recommend. read more

Terrible lawn service, but their customer service is worse. I used Problem Solved from April of last year until January of 2019. My lawn, trees and shrubs never looked good and I had the manager out several times. By January, I was ready to replace them, but gave them one more chance., Eric, a manager, came out on Jan. 23rd and agreed that the yard did not look good and said he would send someone out for a free treatment. When no-one showed up by early Feb., I called them and terminated their service. Out of the blue, they show up on Feb. 4th for the "free treatment", then they billed me $111.00 for that free treatment. For 3 months now, I have been calling to talk to Eric and most recently Joel Traub, the President. No-one calls me back. I get a bill every week and I call every other week. Steer clear of these folks, they are hard to deal with and they are more expensive than Frontline. read more

Beware! We prepaid for the year and only rec'd 1 treatment which was to get a follow up 2 weeks later only to never treat again. I asked for a full refund and they shorted me $48 (for the 1st treatment which did absolutely nothing due to their failure to complete the follow up treatment) plus they shorted me $20 for "an early termination fee" which is required to be in the terms and conditions of the contract and is not! read more
