Such a nice guy! He was incredibly thorough. I told him I am a nurse (or at least a nurse looking for a job) and let him know that usually about after eight hours of standing up I start to get pains going up my legs into my back. He put pressure on different areas of my foot, watched me walk, and concluded that my arches drop a bit when I am walking, which could be the reason for my pain. He gave me some bright green inserts and sent me on my way. Dr. Jensen also gave me some handy tips for buying shoes. You will just have to check him out for those, since I really can't explain how to perform these handy tests on shoes before you buy them. Lastly, the x-ray tech is a hoot! I was giggling the whole time he was taking pictures of my feet.

It was re-sent while she was in the office. She was told that the fax has a 2 hour lag time. WHAT !!? They told her " Sorry we have the next appointment here we will have to reschedule you". She was rescheduled for another month later. She found out that the order could have been texted, emailed, faxed or handed to them in person AFTER they rescheduled her. Now my 22 month old grandbaby who needs braces to learn to walk will have to wait another month at least before getting the braces she needs to START to learn to walk. It doesn't seem right that people can just blow you off for something medically necessary because they don't feel like following through. My daughter was in tears for her child. SHE refused to complain or write this review because she is afraid of how they might retaliate against her or her baby. This is the sad state of medical care . I'm pushing her to get an independent advocate group to look into this place . I'm also contacting their corporate offices.

Bottom line, they wanted me to pay for an office visit with my podiatrist, get a new prescription, come in and possibly be told, "Sorry, we can't do anything about the pair falling apart. Would you like to buy another pair?" I even offered to leave the old supports for the clinician to take a look at. I was told that the clinician wouldn't have time. That is half of what happened the other was a financial error on their part I was told I need to pay over $2000 for my new socket and foot I was making payments early then something clicked I called my insurance and found out the amount that this company was making me pay was wrong. Then I was told by an office person you will have to wait for your refund. I was not happy I did not make them wait for their payment now I have to wait for my refund for about $1000. My main concern is how many people were asked to pay a certain amount and never following up with their insurance company and may have been over charged by this company. I even had the young lady take me up to the front counter, before they would even fit me for my dme 's, to make sure that my insurance was contracted with them, and she looked up my file, and responded , " We just got contracted thru Cigna, My insurance, and that there is no out of pocket for me" Now, Two months later i get a bill from PMI, for the orthotics, so we contacted Cigna, and did a conference call with them and the young lady at PMI billing dept. was very very rude on the call, and was billing me because she said that they haven't been paid for other peoples services, and that they were not contracted with them. After we hung up, my Cigna rep. told us that in fact we were contracted with PMI, but they are billing under the wrong code number, so that they could bill me for the orthotics. And that they can charge me more than what is actually contracted with the insurance. I am going to contact the BBB , and the city District Attorney , and file complaints , if they don't want to bill the insurance correctly. Look over any documents that they present for you to sign, and don't sign or intial anything tat says you will pay for what ever your insurance will not.

I have been taking my special needs daughter here for about 3 years now. They had been amazing! I…read morecouldn't say enough about them until now. We had gone in at the beginning of November 2015 to have her hands measured for hand splints. I was told it would be 1-2 weeks and here we are 2 months later and still no hand splints. I have called them more times than I can count and get the run around every single time. The owner Eddie is completely worthless and the whole office has the worst customer service skills I have seen in a long time. Eddie promised me over and over that they were ordered. He also told my daughters therapist that they would finally be in this week. Well, I got a phone call from his office today that they were not going to be able to do them for us. No explanation, Eddie was to busy to talk to me and tell me the truth for once! I do not know the reason that their best employee is now somewhere else but after these dealings the last two months I can probably figure it out. I am soooo done with CIRS! I will tell anyone and everyone that needs any special needs custom things made to never go here! My daughters therapy unit has already blacklisted CIRS as well. If I could have given 0 stars, that's exactly what I would have given.
