I can't believe how this barber butchered my hair!! I told her exactly how I wanted my hair cut and yet, she cut it the way that SHE wanted it. I had to tell her to STOP and get out of the chair before she hacked any more hair off my head. Now I have a bald spot on the top of my head. The "manager" from the Middleboro, MA store who kept calling me "honey" didn't seem to give a ****. I asked for a refund. If I don't get it within a week I will continue to post negative reviews. He's been getting cuts since he was 1 and our regular is closing down he's always good and does not move too much for a 3 year old. I walked in with hair below my shoulder. I asked for a shorter cut, but long enough to still put it behind my ears. I wear glasses. I also wanted it layered on top because I have thin hair which tends to be flat on top. my third request was to cut the back shorter, but not stacked tight against my head. I pointed to how long I wanted in the back. when I walked out with was my hair shaved around my ear so now I can't put it behind my ears and layers on top that are all different lengths causing some of the hair to stick straight up. as for the back of my hair, she had cut a stacked look very high on my neck. I had to cut a couple of pieces that stood straight up on top of my hair and hoped that it would look better after a couple of weeks. it doesn't and now I don't have enough hair length to fix it. needless to say, I am extremely upset. read more

Monday I went in to get my hair layered and thinned. Roberta layered it just fine but when she thinned it she cut it right at the scalp. I should have said something at the 1st cut but I was in shock and she is supposed to know what she is doing. Half way through I knew I was in trouble and my instinct that this was horribly wrong was correct by the look on the face of the other stylist next to us. By then it was too late..... I hadn't realized how horrible it was going to look/stick up until after I washed it the next day. If I had I would have said something before I left and I sure as hell wouldn't have tipped her. The next day I called the store to complain was told to call a different number. I called and left a msg for the person who handles complaints on Tuesday... heard nothing so I called back Thursday. When I said I never got a call back I was told she was there Wednesday and to just call back when she's there tomorrow. I know they will try to offer me a free hair cut... but I'm not gonna need one for a very long time and I don't want one - I want my money back and my tip. I now look like a little kid who got a hold of her mothers scissors and gave herself a hair cut. She cut out A LOT so its going to take a really long time until the 1/4 long hair is long enough to lay flat again. Roberta should have her thinning shearers taken away! read more

Janelle is a wonderful hairdresser... Very professional and precise. The salon is spacious, clean, and welcoming. However, whoever designed the back room where the highlighting takes place should be reprimanded. It is the tackiest paint job I have ever laid eyes on, and it does not speak well for the salon... Very unprofessional and does not give the salon that upscale feel. Many customers have complained. If the owner was trying to be artsy and creative, it definitely does not work. Run, don't walk, away from Pro Cuts on Teaticket!!! My wife went in for a cut and color and definitely got the worst service and color of her life. She had pretty brown hair with light highlights, and wanted to turn the highlights into lowlights. Instead, they dyed her entire head jet black. See before and after below. She was there for 4 hours. Left with dye all over her hands and face. She asked the stylist, Jamie, several times if she could lighten in. She made attempts, but was also in a hurry to go on her break. Shocked that they still charged her despite her discontent and holding back tears, she paid. My mom was horrified when my wife got home and said "at least they didn't charge you, right?" When my wife said she was charged, my mom called and demanded a refund. The receptionist continuously said "she never said anything to me" as if it was my wife's job to fight this at the counter. And as if it was somehow too late. After a 15-minute conversation, the receptionist stood her ground and didn't refund a penny. And was INCREDIBLY rude to my mom. The worst service experience any of us have witnessed in years. The owners and workers should be ashamed. read more

Britany was what every stylist should be. She was pleasant and talented. I just needed a trim, but she spent plenty of time asking me what I liked and cutting the way I wanted. It came out great, she "textured" my hair so that it falls beautifully like the last time she cut it last summer!! She has a great memory. I took pictures last time to show my stylist in Palm Beach so they could copy the cut. I came over from Martha's Vineyard to have her cut my hair. She has been with the company for over 10 years, I hope she never leaves!! I called ahead of time to see how long a wait might be. I came in to put my name down and was told I had about a 20 minute wait. I went across the street to the pharmacy and came back in 15 minutes and she took me right away. Okay, I've reviewed this place before... I was much nicer then. I tried to give this place a second chance because the price is so low and I have a coupon. So I walk in and I am greeted by signs that look like a teenage boy made for his skatepark. Very tacky. So I get checked in and wait my turn to be called. I finally get called after about 15 minutes. Then I'm having my hair washed. She soaks me and gets water in my ears. Walk over to the chair to have my hair cut and she doesn't listen to what I asked. Long layers, very simple. As she is cutting my hair, a stylist is sitting in a chair picking food out of her teeth and being very rude and disrespectful. Another woman is "sweeping" the place. This is in quotes because she is just pushing the hair everywhere and flinging it to another corner. The place is quite dirty if I may add. I was so displeased with my second time in here I felt I needed to make ANOTHER review. Do not go here. I recommend Viva La Vida on davisville. Great prices. Took my teenagers to get their hair cut here yesterday. The price is right but the service could be better. The woman who cut my sons hair was very nice but the one who cut my daughters hair was very rude. She kept combing over her ears and it was very painful for her, we also asked her to cut 2 inches off the length but only cut about half an inch and then got defensive when I said something about it. If we return it this place I will make sure that woman does not cut my childrens hair. read more

I was in dire need of a moustache wax and new to the area, so I popped in here. I should have turned around the minute I said, " it smells musty in here" but I stayed. I really needed less facial hair! So I stayed. I gorgeous perfectly made up stylist, brought in a back area. It felt like an unfinished basement. She had me sit in a barber chair. I was confused, there was no headrest, it looked thrown in the middle of the floor. After she placed a tattered towel on the back she had me sit. The aesthetician (she was very very nice and pleasant!) waxed my face in parts. This was a first. A little here, now a little here. All done she handed me a mirror. All I could see was the expected redness on my face. But once it got home, I saw a bunch of moustache hairs! Wth? These prices are more expensive than my fancy SF aesthetician and that salon is nice and clean! Yeah to drop in waxing. Not so much fur repeat business. read more

I wish I had read the reviews on Yelp before attempting a cut here. Walked in, 1/2 hour wait which I thought was appropriate. When the stylist took me to her area she began by making fun of my clothes. I'm not here for your fashion advice... I took my jacket off and was told to place my stuff on a chair; I later realized my stuff was wet because there was water on the chair. I showed a pic of what I wanted... she kept saying "so I'll cut it like mine". Her hair was nothing like the picture... I told her to keep it as long as possible...I left with over 6 inches missing. Her daughter does hair there also... just as rude as her mom! Mom asked her daughter if she would hang my jacket up... She said no, but I'll put this THING over here. Four times the person cutting my hair asked where I parted it... 4 times I pointed to the same spot. Finally, when we got to a "this will have to do" moment I asked her to just leave it as it is. In the meantime, a person comes in and the daughter begins styling her very long hair. She was quite rude to this lady and seems so put out about this woman's very long hair. I had sat in that chair over 6 hours with over 4 verry wrong attempts to get my hair even close to the color blond. She had told me she knew what she was doing. After rinsing each time it looked like a metal dishwashing sponge she was using while scraping my hair with in the sink with burning hot water that had burned my face and scalp. When I finally decided that I needed to leave she was telling me that if I wanted my hair blonder to blow dry my hair on extra high heat and to straighten it on extra high. She had sent me of with those only instructions and nothing to protect my hair and since then half my hair has fallen out!!
