She then disappeared to the back for a few minutes, when she returned I was told that I needed to return the dryer to the flagship store across town. I said I wanted to speak with who she spoke with, she spoke with someone at the main store and a beauty manager would have to approve the return. I voiced my disdain at the absurdity of her request. She said she "understood my frustration." Really? I don't think you do..... I think you enjoy telling those who SHOP at Nordstrom that you can't help them. I went to the Nordstrom Flagship store, met a random person in the beauty department and they took it back, no questions asked. I have been shopping and loving Tuckernuck for the past four years. All my purchasing was done on line. Their customer service online was incredible and they had helped me find the perfect sizes & styles. There was only one time when I had to exchange an item for a different size. When I heard that they would be opening on the Upper East Side, I quite literally jump for joy! Well, maybe it could be better describe as I shopped joyously! I was there on opening day. The staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. On the opening day, I was gifted some delightful special items. On that particular day, I was doing shopping for an event. The woman who helped me was very honest in terms of what looked good on me, what looked okay and what looked fantastic. I also made some impulse buys, how could I resist? I bought two lovely dresses, three pairs of stunning shoes, two sweaters, a Barbour (especially designed for Tuckernuck) jacket, a handbag and jewelry. This is my kind of paradise! I went back again last week and walked out, with several beautifully curated classics with a twist! They carry a great selection of stables and special occasion items. Tuckernuck isn't overtly trendy. It's not the type of merchandise that you'll wear for six months and then realize it's already out of fashion. I am in my 50's and have no trouble finding gorgeous styles that are age appropriate without, having to forgo fashionable, chic and classy. Their customer base is wide. And then send another one to fix it that also expired and get a sorry for any confusion message but no discount for you today!
