This morning I received a call from Austin, the technician, to let me know he was on his way. He completed the AC tune up and provided me with an update. We hired Prescott Home Safety to perform a through cleaning of our dryer vent. Jeff arrived on…read moretime, told us he would be cleaning the entire vent from where the vent exits the dryer all the way to the roof. He pulled the stacked washer and dryer out from the wall and cleaned every section of the vent all the way to the roof by adding sections to his cleaning device until it came out on the roof vent. He then completely vacuumed all of the dust up that was behind the dryer, checked the air flow of the dryer by going up on the roof to get a reading of the flow rate. He repeated the entire process one more time until he was satisfied with the air flow reading . We were extremely pleased with the results and my wife has see a marked improvement in the time it now takes to dry a load of clothing. We highly recommend Jeff and will definitely have him back every year to make certain the dryer is running at its peak efficiency.

It's a busy time of year, but they put us on the schedule for a few days later. To be honest, we were expecting to hear a sales pitch for a new system. We were very pleased when Eric cleaned our system and showed us that the only issue was that the run capacitor on the compressor was struggling. Eric replaced it and added a "hard start kit" to reduce strain and power consumption during startup. Overall, he was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing. There was no effort to "upsell us." The system has been working great ever since.
