We could see that there was a large buildup of grease and dust. We were concerned that the grease posed a fire hazard and wanted to have it cleaned to alleviate this risk. I called a half dozen companies in my area, but all of them only handle commercial accounts--restaurants and the like. I was referred to Professional Duct Cleaning because I was told they also performed cleaning of residential range hoods. The price quoted seemed like a lot, but I was told that it would be two techs and that they would be onsite for 5-6 hours. I agreed, and on the appointed day the two techs arrived and quickly began disassembling the blower units and cleaning them outside in a cleaning station they set up in our driveway. After 5 hours of work everything had been meticulously cleaned and reassembled. Our hood is now much cleaner--and safer--and it is even quieter without the built-up grime. Hugo was great! I thought I had a simple duct cleaning turns out it became a a detective story. Hugo took the lead. He look at the pipe over the stove top. He tried to locate the exhaust outlet from the roof, came into the house to check out all the ducts leading to the roof. He went back on the roof to do measurements to try do locate it. Finally did a over the stove clean out. To my surprise there was no exhaust outlet it was roofed over years ago no wonder. Hugo identified the problem! we own a couple apartment buildings from the 1960's with wall gas heaters and and we decided to have them all cleaned by professional duct cleaning co. after a recommendation from our appliance repairman. in total, we had 18 heaters to clean and they were able to get it all done in 1 week. super efficient, tidy, friendly & professional. greg oversaw the job and lent a hand hand when it was needed (since there was so much to get done in a short amount of time). he was great at answering all my questions, double checking that all the heaters were put back together correctly (since they needed to be dismantled in order to be cleaned) and tested to make sure there were no gas leaks and that the heaters & thermostats were all in working order once they were cleaned. he even went above & beyond by installing a new thermostat for me in a unit so i wouldn't have to call out a handyman. excellent customer service...highly recommend! read more

We had a fire in our kitchen. Four years ago, we completely remodeled our entire downstairs. After the fire, we could smell the smoke, even after the insurance company had their "emergency crew" out with their ionizers, blowers, etc. I was very impressed with the staff and company from the first day I called and told them what I needed, to the time the guys left our house. (We have a total of 12 vents in our house.) What was supposed to be a six hour job, turned into ten hours. I felt so bad for the poor guys. When they started cleaning each vent, they found vents that had no suction going back to their equipment in our garage. In other words, there was a break in our ducting somewhere between our heater in the garage, and the vent they were trying to clean. Instead of cleaning it half way and moving on, they went up into our attic and tracked down the ducting to that particular vent. They found a large gap where our ducting had come apart. They repaired it, taped it up and continued on. Then they found another one. This time, trying to find WHERE and HOW the ducting got to that particular location was a nightmare. I finally pulled out the blue prints from the remodel to see if it could help. Greg ended up crawling around and tracing everything down. Turned out, we had a crawl space we didn't even know we had! With lots of work on their part, and lots of extra time, they ended up fixing the ducting that had torn apart. They went above and beyond to complete the job without charging me extra. I was extremely satisfied with their work. I couldn't believe how our vents and heater looked when they were done. They tore everything down and cleaned it inside and out. When they finished, they cleaned up every where they worked and vacuumed before they left. I was referred to this company by Bryan Exhaust Hood Cleaning. In trying to find a company that cleaned kitchen exhaust hoods, the few names that came up on a Google search were all companies that did commercial kitchens only, including Bryan. So I called Professional Air Duct Cleaning and they are prompt in setting up an appointment. The person came on time, was courteous, respectful, and was knowledgeable. Before entering our home, he put on booties without having been asked so that he would not dirty up our floor, one of my markers for good service. He also diagnosed our kitchen usage and the amount of oil build-up and provided us with an estimate of how often we should have the duct cleaned, very helpful advice. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Having just moved here from out of state, it is difficult to find (and trust) local companies to complete work in our new house. In my opinion, you can trust this company. From the first call, Edna put me at ease and her professional nature reassured me that I had found the right company for our issue. Another post indicated Enda "was instantly likeable and genuinely seemed to want to help" and I could not agree more. A family member was having a very bad reaction and we suspected the air in our new house. She suggested, although a little pricey, a video check of our system would really tell us what was going on. (note, she did not push this option on me. It was very much offered as an option, amongst other courses of action. I felt comfortable that the selection of the video check was my decision, based on our circumstances.) Edna walked me through all the possible scenarios with what the inspection might find and what would be the recommended remedies. The next day, Greg and Luis came out and started the video check of our ducts. They were extremely thorough and identified the problems. Greg took the time to show me the pictures of the ducts and recommended steps for us to save money on the process. We determined a full cleaning was our next step (including the HVAC units). Due to the medical reaction, they scheduled us immediately. They spent the entire next day in the house cleaning the ducts, coils, etc.. Both Greg and Luis were extremely professional, hard working and courteous. Our family member is no longer getting sick and I feel we are all breathing safer air. We have used these folks in the past to clean our furnace and duct work. Because they did such a good job we went to them again to do some work on our A/C system. Even though it has been very hot creating a demand on their technicians, the office was so helpful in communicating with us and they sent out a fellow who was well trained by the owner, Corky. Professional Duct Cleaning service was absolutely outstanding! Greg was able to remove all the lint behind my dryer. I could not believe all the build up that had accumulated over the years. We recently moved to Los Angeles and were fortunate to have found this company. They take great pride in their work. Percy and his team cleaned out the ducts in our home, which involved over 30 air passages. They were careful to lay plastic over the floors and covered all of the items in our closets when they had to use the closets to access the attic. Meticulous work! Also, Percy took the time to explain to me exactly what they were doing, how it worked and what we could expect. The cost of the project was set ahead of time and there were no "hidden surprises." A few months later, when we noticed a slight odor in the house, I called them in again.
