It's not a bad place, it's pretty clean, at least out in the open area. There is a toilet in ladies…read moreroom that has had the same feces stain on it. For over a month, even though I said something about two weeks ago about it. The staff is friendly but very inexperienced. If they aren't refilling the spray bottles, then they are standing behind the counter, either chatting or sitting on their phones. I've had many, many years experience with this brand and they don't do what I came to expect years ago. They don't walk around engaging with people, making sure they're using the machines properly. Now that it's summer and teenagers go for free. Most of them are okay, but today we had four young men who thought it was a playground. I wound up leaving early because I just don't go to the gym to babysit

Me and my friend went here yesterday, I'm not a planet fitness member but I came with her to try to…read morehelp her build a workout routine. When we walked in I was assuming day passes were only $5, that would make sense for people trying out the gym. But the chubby Mexican worker at the front desk rudely stated it was $20 which is even more than the monthly membership, and then he clearly made a point that I couldn't step on the gym grounds without the guest pass. I reluctantly paid the $20 so I could help my friend, but man that was an absolute ripoff. Me and my friend used the machines and they were just okay, the grips were too fat where they were uncomfortable. The machines were also not 100% my type, but overall they were solid and can def be good for beginners. When me and my friend were using the chest press, a minimum wage worker that prob makes $15 an hour to spray the machines came up to us and said that we couldn't have our bag on the floor and we had to put the bag in a locker, which I thought was ridiculous. It seemed like the chubby Mexican guy made him go over to us like the message was coming from him. First the $20 guest pass ripoff and now you're going to complain about our bags being on the floor?!?! And now the rude staff is watching us?? Come on bro, sounds like a true "judgement free zone" lol. No critics?!?! More like no critics for the rude staff and ripoff prices. I see why beginners come here and it's not the worst option, but if you have personal honor and a good work ethic there's better gyms to go to!

I've been to a lot of gyms in my day . This is open 24/7 everyone is chill and inviting if you need…read morea spot or whatever. No one is being pushy about sales . very big size for a 24 hour facility . Only issue i have is when you sign up for the $9.99 a month plan, they don't tell you or market up front that there is a $2 electronic payment fee which then ups your monthly to $12 a month . Since they got you right there filling it out , we all know we're not just going to say no cause of two bucks. we came to the gym to sign up. it's like a little trap. And you can't tell me they do that else where cause i've never been charged an extra fee to pay my bill auto pay .

Most Crunch locations, and chain gyms in general are mediocre at best, but this one is even lower…read morequality. A significant number of machines have been consistently broken for weeks or months, including an entire line of treadmills to the left of the front desk that I don't think I've ever seen working. Patrons rarely rerack their weights, and staff never does anything to help with that. There's also the issue that this gym is VERY popular with high school boys. They travel in packs, tend to be very loud and disruptive, and will hog machines, with 5 or 6 of them alternating sets on the same machine so that it can take up to 30 minutes just for one group to finish on a machine. I know there's nothing management/owners can do about that, but it's still something to take into account when choosing a gym. The only nice thing to say about this place is that the main gym floor is usually pretty clean. The women's bathroom is hit-or-miss on cleanliness, depending on the day. And if you're looking for a cheap chain gym, there's a Planet Fitness less than a mile away on Euclid Ave, where the quality probably won't be much different but at least PF is dirt-cheap, even compared to Crunch.

Over the pandemic, I had noticed random hives. I say, random, because I wasn't sure of the trigger. After a clear bill of health from my primary care physician and a bandaid fix of steroid creams from the dermatologist, I was determined to find the root cause and fix it. This is where Daniel and TBD came into the picture. With blood, stool, and urine tests that were easy to do at home (I'm in LA by the way), it was determined I had leaky gut, possible SIBO, and a body full of mycotoxins. I immediately jumped into the protocol Daniel prescribed which consisted of eliminating foods my body is extremely sensitive to and foods that have a potential for high mold/mycotoxin content. I'm halfway through my 3rd month of elimination and 2 months in to the supplement protocol to heal my gut and eliminate mycotoxins. I'm slowly healing and have experienced my eczema flare ups reduce and have noticed a decrease in the 'random hives'. I also hadn't realized I was pretty much bloated all the time prior to making these changes and just didn't know until I started this protocol. You start to just accept the uncomfortable until you know you can actually FEEL better. I'm looking forward to continuing the elimination diet and the supplement protocol.
