When arriving at their building it said that their office was closed on the door however, whenever looking online; it said that they were open. I called and no one answered so I left a voicemail. A couple of minutes later they called me back and said they would be back in the next 30 minutes and abruptly hung up the phone. 30 minutes, go past and we come back again. As we pull in, they were pulling out. Knowing that we were heading to retrieve my car they did not wait and almost went back to towing. When it was time for me to pay, there was no customer skills applied and when I questioned the price of the towing fee no explanation was given to me. Going to get your car towed is never a fun event. And it can be displeasing knowing that you have to pay a fee. What made this experience terrible for me was the lack of consideration, clarity and respect thro the whole process. read more

I was towed from a CVS on FSU's campus 20 minutes after I parked. When I called to ask about the vehicle, the lady on the phone called me a son of a bitch and hung up on me. When I went to pick the vehicle up, I asked to speak to someone in charge and the guy behind the counter was also extremely rude, and made no effort to be professional about the process of getting my truck and also refused to acknowledge the employee that cursed at me. Really ...how can you say you like a parking service in town. I hate them! I ran over a gas tank on Tennessee and was told I would have to wait in the morning for them to come. (I needed them to lift the car so that the gas tank could be removed safely- it couldn't be reached other wise.) They said they would do it for FREE during the day since they roam the area of Ocala and Tennessee.) So I drove it EXACTLY where they told me in a safe area. When I woke up the following morning they had towed it 10 miles away and said it would be $100+ to retrieve the vehicle. After I cussed out the person on the phone, I arrive at the location (hard as hell to find) and hear she had left for the day :-) . And my fee was only $88. They also told me that the gas tank that was under my car was full and the person that brought my car in that morning has gone home with it. TF? I could have at least gotten 10 miles worth of gas? Everyone parking everywhere, which was okay, until the hard stop Monday morning at 7am. My daughter was not in her assigned spot at that time. Car gets towed. When she went to pick up the car, she headed out of the parking lot and her car wasn't running right. She went back inside to talk to the owner at the tow lot. He was so awesome. He ended up towing the car to the dealership for her at no charge. Bad start to her day but so grateful to this company for helping her out. I give this company a star because it is not possible to give them zero. This is the worst parking company ever. They don't care about the disability condition of persons parked in the disability spots just because they are "a private company", which tells me that they reserve themselves the right to discriminate people. I was charged a ridiculous amount of money as a penalty for being parked at a disability spot wearing a disability sticker, and the result of disputing my invoice was a disparaging statement telling me that, since they are private, they don't observe the clause assumed by most of the municipalities that "people with disabilities do not pay for parking". Regarding this, first, how would I know? Second, they never warned me about the kind of contravention I was supposedly committing until I received the parking charge notice they sent me 15 days after, with the intention of charging me with $85.00 dollars for a parking that doesn't cost more that $10.00 dollars maximum. A fee completely outrageous. Thus, I warn public in general regarding the way this company treats us as consumers. I used to use their services when I go out to restaurants. Unfortunately, after this event, I would rather use a PaybyPhone service before parking with them again. Regrettably, the restaurants in that area will be affected by my less frequent visits because of this situation. I am truly disappointed. read more

My daughter's car was towed out of her apartment complex that we pay for parking at. She had a visible parking permit in her vehicle, yet it was still towed by this company. I contacted the apartment complex manager and he contacted the towing company, but was told they couldn't release her vehicle free of charge without a manager there, and he wouldn't be there until Monday. My daughter needed her car for the weekend, so I was forced to pay the $155 fee to get her car back. Everyone who has a child incoming to FSU for school should check with who their future apartment complex contracts towing with, and if it's this company, rethink signing the lease. This is the least professional business. My vehicle was parked in a restricted area (not denying that) for five minutes when I was towed. I came out to KT towing my vehicle to which I ran out saying, "nah nah nah that's my truck." I asked him to stop towing it and he continually shut me up with the response, "nah gotta go to the shop." I had offered to pay there to get my truck back and he continually shut me up with the dreaded phrase. I then had to follow him to the shop. He had left my door open so I got out of the other car following him and shut it. He took his slow time driving to the lot to make sure I got there after 11 to pay an additional 30$ late fee. When we got into the lot he called me stupid for closing my door and was rude. When I got my car back, after paying 140$, I looked up florida law. Sure enough I was denied a right. I was supposed to be given the option to pay half the original posted price, 50 dollars, on the property. I called the following day and explained my case. She called back with a falsified story from the driver, KT, saying that a woman had come out first and we were argumentative and unwilling to pay. Both of these are false. I had run out first after hearing my car alarm go off (the trim on the door is damaged from the jimmy they used to open it) and pleaded to get my vehicle back there. I then was told to email got ignored for several days. I then called back today and the woman on the phone hung up after she decided she was done listening to me explain my case. These drivers are a bunch of crooks and bullies that like to scam you out of money. Stay as far away from them as you can and know that you can pay 50 dollars on the property before they tow you vehicle away and scam you into paying 100+. read more

When I did, i was required to pay $110 and not only did they not take my credit card but when I went to pay with debit they didn't take that because I didn't have TWO forms of ID on me. I have been towed wrongly by this company multiple times from the Presbyterian University Center on Copeland. They must be committing fraud with the time stamps of their own records to validate their reasons for towing vehicles WITH parking passes, or they would've been brought down a long time ago. The company consistently will not prove with evidence how I committed a parking violation, even when I give evidence of my valid parking pass and receipts of items purchased at the center's coffee shop, Calvin's. They demand to be paid no matter what to get your car back, even if it was towed wrongfully. Reception is unhelpful in the most ugly and rude ways. They also force the car owners to sign documents that testify falsely to what actually happened. When you try to correct the form, they write over you after you have signed it. In the past, when I have asked to speak to the person who actually towed me, the manager, or an owner, I have been denied. I have been laughed at, yelled at, ignored, and insulted by the employees of this company countless times. If they think they can take my money wrongly AND flaunt it in my face, they are sadly mistaken. I'm ready to take action at whatever cost against this company. My vehicle was illegally towed and after multiple days of trying to get in contact with someone to find out why my vehicle was towed I was able to get it out for free. However, when I went to pick it up it did not even start and when I took it to get repaired it cost me nearly $800. I tried to file a claim with the email they provided but got no response. To this day they will not tell me why it was towed or who authorized the illegal tow. The only response I received was that it was a "request tow by management". I contacted my building's management who confirmed that my vehicle was legally parked and management denies that they authorized the tow. They are somehow able to tow cars and vehicles yet claim that the information of who towed the vehicle is 'confidential'. Super shady towing company and it seems like they tow vehicles indiscriminately and hope that people will not fight it. read more

I parked in guest parking at my friends apartment complex and came out at 10:15 and my car was towed. I went down with my friend to get my car and find out why they towed me. I got there at 11:04 pm and the guy told me that the visiting hours are over at 10:00pm at the apartment complex so they towed me. He then said that because it was after 11:00pm that I had to pay $150 instead of $100 because it was "after hours". We were two girls and one guy, the attendant made the guy stay outside and then drove me an my friend into the lot and locked gate behind us!! This company is horrible and completely UNprofessional. I've heard and read so many horror stories about PPS wrongfully towing cars with proper parking decals/ visitor passes and still making you pay the $110 to get the car back. The tow truck drivers are also known for being reckless causing damage to cars and even stealing money out of people's cars. They have such a known reputation for being absolutely horrible to deal with and rude. I don't know why apartment complexes still use this company for towing. I would urge anyone in the Tallahassee area that's searching for a place to live to inquire what the towing company for the property is. If it's PPS I would recommend not to sign a lease there because they're a nightmare. I'm shocked that they're still in business they should be shut down! read more
