Most certainly NOT professional. This "business" is run out of a disgusting building that resembles a portable trailer. Every worker I have spoken with has been COMPLETELY rude, absolutely no manners, and seems to be lacking any sort of education. Almost every student housing complex in the Tallahassee area used this horrible company for towing. They broke into my car so they could access the shift release. They did not have to proper tool to access the shift release cover and instead dug it out with what looks to be a key. My PRNDL is completely scratched and mangled around the shift release. I tried to talk to them about charging them for damage and got nowhere. ABSOLUTELY A HORRIBLE BUSINESS AND I AM NOT SURE HOW THE BBB HAS NOT SHUT THEM DOWN. I've heard and read so many horror stories about PPS wrongfully towing cars with proper parking decals/ visitor passes and still making you pay the $110 to get the car back. The tow truck drivers are also known for being reckless causing damage to cars and even stealing money out of people's cars. They have such a known reputation for being absolutely horrible to deal with and rude. I don't know why apartment complexes still use this company for towing. I would urge anyone in the Tallahassee area that's searching for a place to live to inquire what the towing company for the property is. i got towed from an apartment complex and registered my car with park n pay. they ended up towing me anyways and when i called to ask why and tried to explain what happened they threatened to hang up on me and told me i needed to be at the office by 11pm to pay $110 if i wanted my car.. it was 10:50.. i dont think they expected me to show up considering i had no car but i showed up at 10:57 and made them let me in. i had to pay $110 and i realized they damaged the front of my car and got the email for complaints but nobody has answered me and probably never will. they are scum and a scam, pathetic that they depend on towing college students for a living read more

This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I was parked on the curb out of the way of everything in my apt complex and they towed me because I wasn't in a parking spot. Meanwhile someone ten feet away was parked IN A PLANTER. I asked why they towed me and she said because it was easier to get to. They are gouging college students out of money and it is absolute BS. my car got towed and according to Tallahassee ordinance, if you are on the property while your car is still on the property you have the right to get your car released to you for half the towing amount, this is called the Drop Fee Situation. This is a obvious disregard for the law. I walked out of my friends apartment and saw my car was on the back of tow truck so I ran after it and started talking to the guy (he was still on the property), i proceeded to ask if my car could be released and that I would pay him to release my car, he refused and started yelling at me and driving away while I was talking to him just so he could be off the property. Professional towing has the worst customer service and professionalism that I have ever experienced. The woman working at the counter is rude, unprofessional, and egregious. She does not like to be questioned and responded to inquiries about why our Jeep was tow with unwarranted attitude and expressed that she could simply make us wait until she saw fit to take our payment before she would release our vehicle. To make matters worse she further threatened me and my son with trespassing when I began to expressed how unprofessional she was and that she needed to revisit her approach on how to interact with the public. Please know that you have the right to inquire about why your vehicle was towed. Tow companies cannot hold your vehicle hostage and threaten you with trespassing simply because they don't like being questioned or educated on how to professionally interact with the public. This company towed my friend's car twice for a spot that they paid for. Twice in the span of two and a half days, to be exact. They informed me that I had to present a receipt to prove it via email, but the company has never once sent any of my friends who visit my apartment an email regarding payment confirmation. My other friend visited two weeks ago and called them because she never received an email (like the app said she would) and they informed her to refresh it and call back. She did and nothing showed up. Then they told her she should be fine, and hung up. How are you supposed to provide an email receipt for "proof" if they never send one? My daughter's car was towed from a college Apartment complex. This towing company sit there waiting for innocent young adults. She registered her car and paid for guest space. Not explained but assumed that she needed to redo application to park a half hour later again She did not know and w in minutes they towed her car She was there less then an hour. The worst part is they dragged her car ruining bumper and tire and a new scratch on door. Towing company took her money and gave her an email address to report damage , the women in office is abrasive and rude to say the least. They will not show the photos they took before they towed. Called to have a car towed from my parking spot that I pay for at my apartment. When I wasn't sure what the spot number was because there was a car parked over it, the receptionist hung up on me. Once I called back she was rude and disrespectful. When the tow truck came, the owner of the car came running up and shook the tow truck drivers hand and then yelled at me for calling the tow company on him. In the middle of a state wide evacuation This Horrible company & their employees towed my daughters car from the parking lot in the middle of the night where she evacuated from UCF to stay in safety with her sister. These jerks towed her car and charged her $110.00 to get it back during a state of emergency. These are children seeking safety. THEY TOWED HER CAR because she didn't have a sticker which she could not get because she arrived in Tallahassee late after dealing with the evacuation from a major hurricane. Terrible customer service. My car was unrightfully towed and the lady there was on her phone and had an attitude. After I picked it up, I called PPS to tow the car whose owner had my car towed away (they parked in my space and then had me towed because they didn't even know their own parking space), they said they'd be there in 10 minutes. It had been four hours and nobody picked up the phone because the lady at the front desk didn't tell me that that car couldn't be towed because it was listed in the matrix as having the same spot as I do, which is completely ridiculous, but not their fault. The manager/tow-man, however, was very patient and accommodating, and I greatly appreciate his handling of the situation. He told the lady at the front desk to call my apartment complex to sort out the situation and then call me after to let me know. The next morning, I hadn't heard anything yet, so I call and the lady at the front desk told me (with a really rude tone) that it wasn't her responsibility to get this issue clarified and that I have to take care of it, even though I already had (my car is the only one registered with my apartment complex for that space). She then made a comment about how I left PPS a bad review (this one), to which I replied that it was deserved (due to her attitude, not the tow-man's), and she hung up. read more

The heavy set blonde haired women who worked on June 16 2017 around 12-3 was extremely unprofessional and rude. I can't believe someone like that is dealing with customers, this place is pure TRASH!! I paid $110 to get my car back and noticed it would no longer reverse!! The mechanics who looked at my car on their lot said it looked like transmission damage from being towed improperly!! Soon after they tow my car to nationwide transmission, and now I'm waiting to see what they are going to say. A few of the workers tried to place blame on me and say my car may have already had a bad transmission and this was bound to happen BS!! My car was completely fine before being towed!!! My initial review of this place would have definitely been a 1 star if it wasn't for the owner Mr. Murray(sp?). I got towed, it was my fault 100% but the driver basically shook me down and asked for $105 cash only. By Tallahassee Ordinance if the vehicle is still on property you can release your car from the tow truck for half the posted amount(Which for me would have been around $50) with cash/credit/debit. He took my car and I had to shell out $110 at the lot instead. I felt wronged by this blatant disregard for the law so I contacted local authorities on this matter and they had Mr. Murray informed. He was patient, kind and a great business man. He held the driver accountable and rectified the situation in a timely and professional manner. Again, it was my fault for the parking violation, but when things feel fishy definitely follow your gut. I'm glad I did and I am thankful for Mr. Murray's help resolving the matter. read more

This place towed my car like no other. My five year old son was very excited to see the truck because he thought it was Tow-Mater from Cars. Was pleasantly surprised at how sweet the tow man was (but slightly disappointed that he didn't sound like Larry the Cable Guy), but they wouldn't give me my car back on site. It ended up getting impounded and I consequentially lost my license for a full year shortly after (long story), but it has been a blessing in disguise because now my son and I can spend more time together more than ever when we take the bus. If I could give this place 6 stars I would, cause I couldn't make my car payments anymore after spending a fortune on funeral costs for my youngest son (who was ran over by a tow truck, rip Timothy 2014-2017), and working a minimum wage job, money doesn't come easy. But thank you, Professional Parking Services, for reminding me what quality time with my last to kin is really all about. read more

I usually don't do this but I feel everyone has the right to know how unfair and rude this company is. This yelp page doesn't really do justice with, now, it's 4 reviews. I haven't try their services but I have seen a YouTube video about their rude service and their above the law demeanor. I've also read over 30 1-star reviews on Google. The YouTube video really angered me. Someone who's car was towed tried to pay with pennies but the girl working refuse to take them even tho it IS the law. The police were called and told her she HAD to take them. Her excuse was that the boxes of penny wouldn't fit under the pay window. So the cops told the guy he could slide penny by penny thru the payment window (that way they would be counted too) which the guy had no problem doing. But when he went back to do exactly that she still refused. I kinda got it at first the frustration of getting 8,800 pennies. but once the police are involved and tell you it's the law then you have to do it. After finding out that this a federal law I would have taken pennies in a heart beat. But she kept refusing for a whole hour after repeatedly being told by 3 officers that she had to take the pennies, wasting the time of the officers. This company is just rude and they feel like they are above the law. When the guy with the pennies told that it was a federal law to take the pennies she replied saying she was making her own law and wasn't taken them. With all those bad reviews and YouTube video I'm surprise they're still in business or that they haven't been sued yet. One review even read that one of their towed truck driver took a swing at them. Another review said that when she called the company to inquiry why they were trying to tow her handicap friend's car when it was parked in a handicap spot the person on the phone told her, "f*** you and f****** your handicap friend." read more

Professional Parking Services just towed my daughter's car that was parked in a visitor spot with a visitor pass because the visitor pass had fallen onto the floor of the car from the dashboard. They knew the pass was there because they had a picture of it. They still insisted she pay for the car -even though they knew she had a pass- because it technically was in the wrong place in the car. They clearly troll lots for any car that they can technically get away with towing and holding hostage without any concern or care for whether the car is actually parked illegally. This should be against the law. I encourage lots not to use this service if you care about your tenants or customers at all. read more

If I could give 0.5 stars or 0 stars I would. This place is terrible! I parked in a tow-away zone, so my car got towed. I understand that, I paid the price that I was supposed to and was pulling out of the place when I decided to check out the car and made sure that everything was OK. When I got my front right fender I noticed that it was hanging off a little and also that my front headlight was cracked a little. I take care of my car very well and I wash it myself and look at that car every single day. That Bumper was not hanging off before it was towed. That light was not prepped before it was towed. This place is not a Professional at all. The fact that there name is "Professional Parking Services" is ironic. The "manager" was working on a tractor when I tried to talk to him, and I showed him the damage and he said, "oh that must've been there, because I trucks would've done more damage then that" and then I said, " no it was not, I check my car more than once weekly and it was not there". And then he just said, sorry but that wasn't us and got back on his tractor and drove away. You are a manger of a business and that's how you treat your customers, how rude! I don't care about my car being towed, but being damaged is not fair. So then I try and have them talk to my father, and they said they would only talk to him in person...
