She is so friendly, easy to talk to, and our boys warmed up to her very fast. While on our trips, Sonya came once a day. She texted us updates and sent pictures of our boys which is wonderful! Everything was neat and tidy, we had happy cats, and will 100% use Sonya's services again! I felt extremely comfortable leaving a house key in her possession for the second trip, especially since it was so close to the first trip we took. The price per day is extremely reasonable and our boys had 0 problems (except for their usual mischief). I was super anxious reading up horror stories of people living their cats in a boarding situation and so I did my due diligence when picking this place as a place to look after my baby. Booking was pretty straightforward, I just had to call and they sent me the documents to fill out and I gave them my credit card info to hold my reservation (they don't charge you until you pick up your baby). When I dropped off my kitty, I was able to see the room and they allowed me to keep the carrier in the room so he has my scent. It seemed like he didn't miss me at all because I would check in on the cameras occasionally and he was meowing and jumping around like crazy playing with the workers here. I really appreciated seeing them brush him and give him lots of pets. They also seem to feed him plentiful as he went from 7.5lbs to a whooping 8lbs when I came back (amazing!!). All in all, I'm glad I chose the purring parrot because my kitten seemed to really enjoy himself. I enjoyed the occasional "e-meows" they sent out and I loved reading his report card. The owners are so sweet and gave us some cookies for the holidays (human-safe, not cat-safe). I highly recommend choosing them to look after your fur babies!!

She fed each pet twice a day and walked the dog twice a day (when requested - our trip schedule was complicated and we also had other help from a friend). She even played with the cats and bought them a toy. I definitely recommend. Her fees are very reasonable for the caring services she provides. Sadly I found Barbara late in our 4 year San Diego move, just before we moved away to Denver. Very sad that it took me so long to find her. I chose Pampered Paws based on John's extensive experience with cats and the reviews on this page from other cat owners. It was Arthur's first professional grooming experience thus, I had no idea how he'd behave or how it would turn out. I took Arthur to John's residence where his pet grooming van is parked. John gives a 10% discount for coming to him which I thought was very generous of him. I'd gladly bring my kitty to him regardless. John was extremely patient and kept me updated as things progressed. It took 3.5 hours total because Arthur would only let John work on him if he was held on his lap as it helped him feel secured. It took a lot of TLC for Arthur to successfully receive his first grooming experience and not traumatized by it. John is simply a godsend. He's knowledgeable about cat behaviors which greatly helps when grooming stressed cats. He also cares about the anxieties of the pet owner and his clear as well as regular communication during the process made such a huge difference. I really appreciated this and it did not go unnoticed. This is my first experience with John let alone a mobile groomer or any groomer for that matter. I usually bathe my dogs myself and brush them daily but I was getting tired of all the hair around the house (vacuuming daily) and brushing daily yet they still had tangles (but they were still cute). Anyway, John took great care to make sure Lucy and Harley were comfortable. He gave them treats (he asked first if that was ok of course). John also sent me photos of them on text. I don't know if this is standard but he put "Happy Hoodies" on them and sent me a picture and text explaining what they were. He was also extremely considerate of my dogs reaction to the high velocity hose and let me know he was going to gentle dry them. Lucy and Harley look great and John was easy to work with. He was very receptive when I asked him to make small changes afterwards (they were very minor changes). Harley especially took to John and went back outside to the front porch to say goodbye to John at the front door. John is very kind and is passionate about what he does - I appreciate this and highly recommend him!
