A neighbor recommended Katie of Wolf Girl Canine Club on Nextdoor, and I decided to give training one more shot. Boy, am I glad I did. Katie worked magic with our sled dog. She now expects to play the "heel game" on every walk, and when we run out of treats, she still stays right by my side. What a difference. Walks are now a joy, and the carpal tunnel that I didn't know was caused by the sled dog has eased. I loved how Wolf Girl Canine Club approaches training with kindness and patience - no choke collars, shock collars, or harsh reprimands. Our sweet but stubborn girl heeled because she wanted to. She adored her friend Katie and looked forward to the training sessions. And, while she had suffered from abandonment issues with the other trainer, by the second lesson, she was ignoring us and happily setting off with her new friend. Katie also kept us up to date with photos and even training videos so that we could see er work and follow-up on her progress. This extra effort really helped us stay on track. They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! This was an amazing option to have instead of putting our dogs in boarding (which we all would have been unhappy with). They are great at providing mix-and-match options to keep cost in mind. I honestly probably wouldn't have gotten back to it and just have lost the name of the business except that Nancy called me that same day to set up my appointment! She was very nice and friendly, but even better, accommodating! She came by to meet the cats and learn the layout etc. and ended up staying for a whole hour (I love to talk about my cats). I was very impressed by how professional and thorough she was. Honestly she could not have done a better job. We had her visit twice a day to give medicine to one of the cats which was a relief for us to have someone else do. Every day I got an email with a picture and update which I thought was unnecessary but actually really enjoyed and got to look forward to. She put in obvious extra effort to befriend the cats and I was impressed that she managed to get close even to our shy cat. This business is just a lifesaver! The prices are beyond reasonable and the quality of service they provide is just insane! They obviously love animals and know how to handle pretty much anything. They take down very thorough information so if anything comes up they can take care of it. I think our cats missed Nancy when she stopped coming. They will be happy to see her when we go out of town again. Your pets are in the best hands with Furry People Pet Sitting. I am so glad we found them and no longer have to worry about making friends come check our pets, etc. They also include mail, plant watering, and other services I had never even thought of as part of the visit. Well, it turns out, so is Nicole!! She made sure she knew everything needed for all 4 of my pets (two cats and two dogs) prior to me going on vacation. I was gone for 10 days, and she sent updates each time she visited along with pictures of all the pets. I opted for the twice a day for 45 minutes and it was worth every penny. I have never gone away and felt completely relaxed until now. After the first visit I was sold, she is my go-to person for pet sitting. She made sure all of them were well cared for and loved while I was away. She is wonderful at communication; payments can be made online and there is a super easy to use app that is used for everything. IT WAS NOTHING SHORT OF MIRACULOUS!!! I want to thank her from GROOMING him from HEAD to TOE. He was completely washed, and had his hair cut. He had his ears cleaned, nails trimmed. Also, immediately following the Pug-walks with Kay, my Louigi was not out of breath, even though the weather was very sunny and hot (Pugs have a definite tendency of overheating). Kay consciously followed my exact directions, in order to find the perfect location, for my Pug to have a nice and shady route, every time. Also, Kay acknowledged the items of concern, which I had emailed to her, immediately prior to the initial scheduled dog-walk (at my front-door). Thank you very much, Kay!!! Kay is very compassionate and has a very positive disposition. Kay is very reasonable about everything and has a very competitive rate. I found Kay online and she offered to do a free meet & greet to make sure we're compatible. Bandit is a reactive dog on a leash, which means he lunges and whines/barks at other dogs on walks. It was really hard for me to find a walker that could take on all 60lbs (lean mass) of him. It was doggy love at first sight, he was super excited to meet her and was really chill with us chatting. I quickly schedule a dog walk for the next morning. Bandit had loads of fun on his dog walk and he was pretty much pooped afterward. Like bro! It was only 30 mins. Kay is definitely now our regular dog walker.

Jeffrey is a male lab mix and was 10 months old when he came to stay with me. When Jeffrey came to stay with me, I already had Koda, a male chow-huskie mix, four years old. About two months into his stay, Jeffrey became my forever dog. Also, at about that same time, Jeffrey and Koda began to get into some bad fights that needed human intervention to stop. My friend had taken her dog to Devotion to Dogs with great results, so I took Jeffrey for training. Jeffrey completed his training about one month ago and no fights with Koda have occurred after the training. Josh was great with Jeffrey and did Jeffrey's home visit.
