When I called to ask why, I was told, "things are what they are," and that it was somehow my fault--even though I disclosed the application before purchasing. Their only solution was for me to pay return shipping and refurbishment fees. A company's reputation isn't built on how they handle easy sales--it's built on how they treat customers when something goes wrong. This experience encapsulated everything wrong with poor customer service: no accountability, no willingness to help, and no effort to stand behind their product. I won't be doing business with this company again I respectfully disagree. I told you before purchasing that this truck uses a 1977 El Camino suspension, and I relied on your recommendation. If the vehicle's weight was going to turn an advertised 2-inch drop into a 3.5-inch drop, that should have been disclosed before the sale--not after installation. Blaming "vehicle weight" after the fact feels more like an excuse than a technical explanation. I was looking for a reasonable solution, not shipping charges and refurbishment fees for a product that didn't perform as advertised.

He was extremely rude from the start, dismissive of my questions, and made no effort to help resolve the issue. I had my mechanic call--someone far more knowledgeable about the part--to try and have a more technical conversation, but unbelievably, Ron was even ruder to him. Rather than offering assistance or guidance, his only response was, "Just send it back then. Just send it back." That's not how you treat customers. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially when there are plenty of reputable companies like Summit Racing, OPGI, or CPP that actually value their customers and treat them with respect. If you care about customer service, communication, or professionalism, avoid Muscle Factory Auto Parts at all costs. Treating customers this way is a fast track to losing business -- and with the reach of social media today, bad experiences like this don't stay quiet for long.

Muscle Factory is a great source for affordable Chevelle and El Camino replacement parts. I've been…read moregoing there for close to fifteen years. About twelve years ago I actually built an entire car with their products. Occasionally you'll have to do a little fabrication to make some stuff fit, but that just comes with the territory when building hot rods. Now I just go there when I need some stuff here and there. This is a great alternative to a lot of the other classic parts places because they always have the majority of items in stock, the prices are low, there is never a line, the quality is great, the parking is easy and the customer service is amazing. The last two times Ron has helped me. He is totally awesome and really knows his stuff. Went there today to grab some stuff for my Chevelle. Not only did Ron have the trim clips I needed, but he gave them to me for free! Thx!
