Straight up SHITSHOW. Ordered suspension components for my son's truck. Checked the tracking number provided, saw that they were arriving Thursday. I work from home so I was there when the envelope, yes envelope, containing what so far amounts to a $400, sticker was placed into my hand. Am I supposed to add water and the pieced appear before my eyes? Asked postal worker if there were any large packages and he said no. Go back to the comp. click on tracking number provided...DELIVERED. Promptly call this craptastic outfit and after 2 hours of robo-dialing someone finally picks of the phone. Good ol' phonslap said there should have been 2 packages and then puts me on hold to "find out" what happened. Slap gets back on the line and said when we ordered, that parts were out of stock but are now on site and will go out that evening (Thursday). I ask if I can get a tracking number when they are shipped and slap said to call back in the morning, someone will certainly be here at 8am. Call the next day and of course nobody picks up the entire day. They have also not to responded my emails. So, here we are, a week AFTER initial "shipment" of my components and delivery of a very expensive sticker. Still no hard parts or communication from them. Ghosted. I ordered the 2.5" coil spacers for a 2wd 2019 f250. Instructions that come with the kit are not great. No torque specs, no diagrams, no details. The price itself is reasonable and the parts seem to be good quality. The low scoring review is largely due to the fact that while installing the parts, I had some questions and they NEVER answered the phone. I called many times over two days during business hours and I left 2 voicemails. No one ever got back to me. I was left to guess and figure it out on my own. SIDE NOTE - IF you run 37" tires on an a 2wd f250, just know you will not be able to get your camber correct without fabrication. All in all this company was local and seemed legit so I gave them a shot but it wasn't the best experience. read more

I have to take a moment to express how thankful I am for suspension specialists customer service, I called them for advice on cost of lift, tires, wheels, etc on a new truck was thinking about buying. They spent 20 minutes on the phone with me explained everything and gave me ball park "on the higher end quotes" just fantastic information- and as info there "higher end quotes" where like 50% less than a quote I got from one of the major off road chains. 100% will get my business. read more

It's was hard to find a shop that would install a lift I purchased. When I contacted Suspension Specialist my search was over. They answered all of my questions via Yelp Messages quick. You will need to set up an appointment as they seemed pretty busy at least by a week & leave a small deposit to save your spot. The day came dropped off truck signed some paper work. The next day in the afternoon my truck was done. Needless to say I'm very happy with outcome. After researching places to go to get a solid lift on my truck, Suspension Specialist definitely had the best prices and customer service. To start with, I just needed a simple spindle lift in the front and rear blocks to level it off, I had a 2 inch coil spacer in already and they gladly informed me that adding the spindle will not harm the trucks suspension so i added to it. The service was on point and very quick. I scheduled an appointment, put down a little cash as a deposit, showed up and the truck was lifted to exactly how I wanted. Overall i was very happy with going here instead of other local shops that make you overpay and such. This place has the BEST prices and everything like parts and labor have a lifetime warranty. [Update] I got refunded in full after escalating this with Amazon for 3 months. Sounds like each party made a mistake and I'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt. To the Suspension Specialists: Please don't make your customers pay for mistakes made by Amazon or your shipping partners. ~~~~ I had a very unprofessional experience with them. I purchased the Smittybilt Overlander Rooftop tent from the Suspension Specialists from their Amazon store in May. First the order went to the wrong address. I called R&L Carriers to reroute the order to the address where I live. They told me they would. A week later, no response and no package. I called the San Jose location and they said I had to call Oakland. I contacted Oakland and they told me that no order existed with that tracking number(verifying the number multiple times). At this point, I was concerned that I would lose my $1009 so I requested a refund. The support team at Suspensions Specialists said they would honor this and process my refund in 3-5 business days. Two weeks passed with no refund or response. I called Amazon's customer service line to solve this, and ended up spending my ENTIRE Summer calling them over a dozen times, and spent at least 10 hours to get this refund processed. Finally, they processed 80% of my refund last week(late August). They gave me $800 back, and charged a 20%(~$200) restocking fee. This seems unnecessary given that I've done everything right on my end as a buyer, and simply never received an order that I purchased for $1009. To the Suspension Specialists: I've spent a lot of time trying to solve this and this is not a fair way to treat a customer who never received an order. Please refund 100% of my purchase and rectify this problem like a reputable business would. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! This business for starters sells on Amazon, and uses that and a buffer to hide behind, not to mention the owner hides behind his employees. I / my business purchased two leveling kits which came with a set of 4 Bilstein shocks and a steering damper; the kits I ordered were identical and I was charged roughly $836.00 per kit including shipping so all in just shy of $1,700.00. Within a few days I received two boxes that had a note that said," Your shocks are on the way," taped to the box! I never opened the boxes, but by the weight I could tell it was the torsion key kits, very cheap parts fyi, cheapest part of the purchase. So I waited a a week and half, no shocks, so I called "The Suspension Specialists," left messages with no returned call. days go by....Called again and again and finally someone answered, hey where are my shocks I asked the employee. He wasn't sure and assured me he would call back. That didn't happen. At this point I had waiting customers, and bought the parts elsewhere. I called again, left messages, no response, so I called and called and called till someone answered. They informed me that the shocks were back ordered, and no ETA on when I would see them. I explained I was going to return the small portion of the order I received. No one explained there was a 25% restocking fee lol. I didn't see it when I ordered like most consumers who need something fast on Amazon, and didn't see the small print, but how do you charge a restocking fee when the parts are on backorder????? I never received the parts!!! When I saw my Amazon return come thru weeks later, I was charged $400.00 in restocking fees. I called and called and called some more until someone finally answers the phone, which is like pulling teeth for some reason, staffing issues I'm sure, blame covid! I was upset, but polite and asked to speak to the owner Jacob or Jake who wont deal with customers, and hides behind his employees, must be a spineless worm. I explained the situation, I never received the entire order so how can you charge a restocking fee? I was blow away, the employee agreed with me and fully understood, but told me it was likely the Owner , BIG JAKE, wouldn't do anything. The employee wouldn't give me his bosses email or contact info, so at this point I knew I was screwed, and would have to contact AMAZON myself. I never write reviews, but this place is the status que shady operation. Its just bad business to do what this place has done! After purchasing my new Truck, I had a list of things I wanted to do to it, one of which being to swap out for new leveling shocks in the front and standards in the back. I called in and got fantastic service and recommendations. I decided to purchase the ProComp Prorunner SS shocks up front and back installed by them. Their prices are absolutely competitive, and the work was completed quickly and with a high standard. Having some previous experience with other so-called suspension shops in OC, and having them thrash my brand new parts, tell me it was my problem, and never work with me as a customer to get it resolved, My flawless experience here was a breath of fresh air. Here's an open letter... I actually just now emailed this to them when it should be a review... fixed a few typos... split infinitives... just kidding... there's nothing wrong with split infinitives. Hi there Suspension Specialists.... Turned out great! Thanks for excellent info on correct parts to correct the low rear end on my 4x4 Ford Ex. when towing. I spoke with a very knowledgeable person there and I don't remember her name! The two inch blocks/u-bolts combo recommended to me for the rear are a perfect addition to my Roadmaster Assist Springs (for great tracking/no axle wrap/slight stiffening) for stock rear leafs, and they work great with my existing V-code leaf-spring upgrade in front. No more sagging rear when towing my travel trailer and a nice raked stance when not towing-- not to mention everyone always thinking I've got my brights on when towing at night. Air bags or stiffer leafs in rear would have been an expensive overkill and a rough ride. Weight distribution hitch would have been another expensive overkill as my tandem axle 23 foot fiberglass Oliver Legacy II is already a perfect tow with zero sway/porpoising. My Excursion is now towing perfectly level, with great road manners to boldly go anywhere with a very comfortable ride. All I had to do was drop my adjustable hitch two levels to account for the new blocks. My only regret is not doing this years ago. Two-inch blocks for the rear seems like a brutally simple mod but absolutely every single time I would ask a parts place or a shop for a solution-- for years and years, nearly a decade-- they would always say that I must do air bags or upgrade the rear springs. Nothing on the net either - everyone is for air-bags/heavier springs, et cetera - there is even an Excursion suspension remediation/correction "whisperer" of sorts advertising on the net and I never though the photos of the Excursions he "treated" looked right in terms of rake and stance. I have always known exactly what I wanted... Then I finally called you guys! With a name like "Suspension Specialists" I still can't believe I had not yet found/contacted you. I always felt that a simple two-inch lift would complement my RAS (Roadmaster Assist Springs) in the back just right. I took the parts you sent me to HTW Motorsports in Upland and Chris there agreed with my reasoning (I think) and he didn't try to up-sell me anything at all and, in one hot Inland Valley July afternoon, your dedicated new rear Excursion 4x4 2-inch blocks and U-bolts were added to my rear set-up and the Ex feels perfectly dialed in, towing or not. 10/5/2017 my Silverado needed complete front end work uppers / lowers ball joints, inners / outers tierods called a few shops then recalled Jacob told me back when to call them for anything I did and they didn't just take care of mentioned parts but also provided options we went with HD parts and as usual they beat everyone else's price for the total job. This was close to a year ago I think. Today my car wash guy told me one of the screws was missing on my wheel cap and it was scratching my rim. I got a 2" leveling kit (strut spacer) nothing crazy, just to give my truck a more aggressive look and I couldn't be happier. First, let me say that this review is for the Doetsch Dodge Dakota upper control arm lift kit that Suspension Specialists sells. I have had a mostly pleasant time dealing with Suspension Specialists. I came across this kit as I was looking for upgrades for my 2004 Dodge Dakota, and I immediately became excited because this is the ONLY upper control arm lift kit on the market for my truck. I did some research, talked to Suspension Specialists and felt confident as I purchased the kit online. The kit arrived shortly after and everything looked good besides the terrible hard copy instruction sheet which was blurry and barely readable from being photo-copied too many times. The few photos that were included (not all the photos were there, as the instructions referred to them) were too dark to even see. This same kit, being made for 2 body styles of this truck, had additional instructions sloppily added in margins to account for the changes in years. When it came time, I installed the kit myself in my garage. I didn't think this would be a problem as I have redone the engine, stock suspension, and countless other things on this truck. Also, the kit was advertised as bolt-on with no fabrication needed. What a mistake! The new tubular upper control arms came with bushing sleeves far too small for the pivot arm to fit through. When I called Doetsch directly, the grouchy lady on the phone insisted that they were correct and I must be wrong. Luckily, I had access to a machine shop where I had to get the sleeves and washers, that were included and should have slipped right on, fully machined to the correct diameter. This ordeal slowed down my progress on the kit, and Monday morning rolled around as my daily driver was still sitting on jack stands. The poorly written direction sheet also said that a stock bump stop needed to be removed although it did not seem in the way of movement at all. So I brought out the death wheel and ground away the bump stop which added more to the supposedly 'simple' process. The zerk fittings for the bushings were the wrong thread size, thus had to be re-tapped. Stock brake lines are barely long enough to work, however, some reshaping prevented any rub. Once back together and aligned, the truck does ride much better and the stock control arms are not resting on the frame like with other lifts. I'm looking forward to seeing what the truck can do off road now. Unfortunately, Fabtech does not still produce their control arm kit for Dakotas because I would have liked to put better quality parts on my truck. If you are planning to purchase this kit, know that it is a lot of hassle and won't go on easily. Take it to a shop to get it installed and warn them that the bushing sleeves are gonna be small. Also, kit claims to help alignment issues, but the dealer had a hard time getting everything into proper alignment. read more

Parker took my appointment. They only do work by appointment, due to their shipping and dealer work conducted. I was impressed with their ability to fit me in and their price. They used a MaxTrac leveling kit for my Toyota Tundra. Price was $100 for parts and $150 for labor, overall good price from a legitimate lifting company, $258 out the door. Truck leveled looks amazing! Will be coming back for other suspension work. FYI they don't have an alignment machine, so i will be getting an alignment ASAP and hitting the trails! They have cheap chinese stuff and incredibly expensive racing stuff and everything in between. They realize that and arent snobby about a cheap lift if thats what you need. Took my truck in for an adjustment to the rear suspension. I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab and whoever lowered it didn't complete the job by putting hangers on the rear so it would sit level. I had them take a look at it and he recommended adding hangers which made a world of difference. I'm very pleased with the job that was performed and would highly recommend suspension Specialists to anyone and everyone. I am totally satisfied with my truck now. read more
