Let me start by saying I've been plagued with TMJ problems for years. I've got the mouth guard from my dentist; I work out to reduce my stress and stay in shape; I've read TMJ books and done the exercises suggested; I even went so far as having Botox injected into my jaw muscles to lessen the tightness and constant low-grade pain. All helped in minor ways, but nothing helped significantly. That's when I read about myofascial release therapy. I'd never heard of it before, but a TMJ book suggested it, and after paying $1000 out of pocket for Botox, I was willing to try anything. I've been seeing Erica Reid at Progression, and it's the best thing I've done for my TMJ. I wish I would've done it sooner. She's knowledgeable, friendly, and after a few sessions, my jaw feels way better. Oddly enough, the bodywork therapy helped other areas, such as my anxiety. I highly recommend Progression; as Michelle P noted, there's metered street parking; Sabrena, the receptionist is friendly and on the ball; the place is clean and welcoming. I'm not familiar with all of their other services, but dealing with Erica has been a joy. Highly recommended. read more
