I honestly love coming to this place. Dr Levon is an extraordinary chiropractor and knows what he's doing. I always leave feeling better and pain free. I first met him after I had a bad car accident and a friend recommended him to me over 10 years ago! I have been to others but none could help my back and hip pain like Dr. Levon does. I'm pain free usually after the first visit. I recently had a bad fall and landed on my back and hit my head. I was literally adjusted from head to toe and feels like I the fall never happened. I recommend Downtown Live Chiropractic. Dr. Levon is a very good Chiropractor. I tried many throughout Los Angeles, and stayed on with him since 2016. Before the COVID pandemic up to now, I have done very strenuous work, sustaining two new injuries, being out of the area and upon returning, Dr. Levon was able to quickly restore my health. I have had excellent Chiropractors in Oregon and Washington State, I have had Chiropractic care since my teenage years. I have avoided most health ailments that are common, been pain free, and able to remain highly active due to proper spinal alignments. I no longer have migraines, TMJ, headaches, and rarely catch flu, colds. I played school sports, skied, snowboarded, did performance dance, summers worked outdoor physical labor. I was a runner, lap swimmer seven days a week. I never had any injuries. Now at almost 50 years old and having had COVID, working as an essential worker, overtime night and day shifts, I sustained one shoulder impingement, and one partial shoulder dislocation. I work in DTLA and am having some back pain. Was looking for a professional establishment that could help me so I called Dr. Levon's office. This was the conversation: Me: Hi I'm in downtown, I was wondering if you guys take walk in appointments. Receptionist: Hi, no we don't its appointment only. (awkward silence where she doesn't even ask me if I want to schedule an appointment) Me: Okay, makes sense. Well, do you have any appointments available for today? Receptionist: Hmm let me check...No we don't. (another awkward silence as I wait for her to follow up but she doesn't) Me: Okay....(starting to doubt the professionalism of this establishment at this point), when is the next available appointment? Receptionist: Dr. Levon won't be in until Friday. Me: (confused as to how they are even open if their doctor isn't in the office) So, I assume you must have other doctors... could I maybe schedule an appointment with one of them? Receptionist: (sounding audibly annoyed) yeah we can try, but I would have to get permission from my manager to schedule you. Me: Sounds complicated. I just want someone to take a look at my back. Receptionist: Yeah it is complicated. (awkward silence) At that point I just hung up the phone and scheduled an appointment with a different chiropractor (who scheduled me an appointment in less than 2 minutes mind you). Perhaps Dr. Levon is a very good chiropractor, but I will never find out because the lack of urgency from his staff in trying to assist me at all. It's not a good look for you when a potential patient has to beg for information from your receptionist. I understand I'm not a patient of yours so you naturally aren't going to prioritize me, but sheesh, at least try to be a little helpful when people call you in pain asking for help. read more

I personally wouldn't recommend Dr.Levon as a chiropractor. He had me lay on my stomach face down pulled my shirt up then pulled my pants and underwear down exposing the top of my glutes, all without warning and without permission. I've been to a number of other chiropractors over the course of 10 years and never had a single one ever had to pull my pants down or my shirt up. I asked a few friends if their chiropractors did that and they all said no. I called one of my old chiropractors and he said that for a normal adjustment he wouldn't need to go under my clothes at all. I now have a new chiropractor and he's NEVER pulled my pants or underwear down. In the past even if a dr did need to physically see my body and touch my bare skin w their hands they would ask for permission first. I won't be going back here but I really felt like I needed to share my experience. I don't think it's ok for someone especially a Dr in a position of power and authority to do this. Maybe other people wouldn't have a problem w what happened but I did. It felt very predatory and was completely unnecessary. I've only had positive experiences with male and female chiropractors before, so this really was such an uncomfortable incident. I really hope what happened to me was a one off or at least now that I'm writing this it won't happen again. read more
