He is not judgmental, has great bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable. He actually cares about his patients and listens to your concerns. Needles are scary to me but honestly I don't even feel most of them when Dr. Chen does his treatment. I have seasonal allergies and have not been able to breathe through my nose for many years. In one visit he was able to treat the issue and I was able to breathe through my nose for the whole weekend!! Of course I understand it's about the process but I have noticed a better quality of breathing since I've started treatment. He caters each treatment to your issues so each visit may be different according to what you need. This last visit he was able to release a lot of tension and issues I didn't even know I had! I've been going to Dr. Chen for a few months and he is seriously the guy who changed my perspective of acupuncture. I was always skeptical but then I had some issue with a twitching eyebrow and he poked me with a few needles and after two sessions it was gone. He mentioned it was something to do with my liver and between session 1 and 2, I threw up bile in the morning. The twitching went away and from that moment, I was flabbergasted that it actually worked. For the record, I studied medicine in undergrad and grad so this was definitely the wow moment. If you're having doubts, Dr. Chen is the guy to go to for acupuncture. I promise you he is going to be the best!
