I have a sneaking suspicion that all previous "reviews" of this place were written by Progressive employees. It's not just that this place is bad, it's actually a scam & swindle.
First things first; this is NOT an auto-body shop, it is not a mechanic or "service center" as it claims to be. (Please note that there are absolutely no tools or equipment on premises, it's just a big empty building with a snazzy reception area with "free" coffee and Little Debbie snack cakes.)
Secondly; all employees that work there are Associate Claims "Adjusters" whose soul duty is to make sure that you DO NOT get your car repaired by Progressive, even if you have full coverage. Their job, by definition, is to try very hard either not to pay out on a claim, or at the very least make sure that Progressive is not on the hook for too much expense. I don't blame them; I know this is the nature of the beast. No insurance company ever wants to actually pay out on a claim. So, be aware that if you take your vehicle here to be "inspected" (by a part-time adjuster, not by a certified auto technician) they will try very hard to downplay the amount of work that needs to be done to restore your vehicle, and they will also try to make sure You shoulder most of the financial burden (deductible). They will suggest auto body places in their "network". Beware of this.
Please don't go here after an accident; especially if it's YOUR Progressive policy.
If you find yourself in the unpleasant circumstances of having an accident. Wait for the police, file a report. (this is important). Then get your vehicle immediately to ANY legitimate, trusted auto-body repair center or garage- tell them up front what your deductible is, especially if it's on the high-side. Give them your insurance info, and let Them handle it. They'll walk you through the claims process and make sure that your own insurance company doesn't try to nickel and dime you right out of a necessary repair.
*I would have given this place a 1 star review, but the teenagers who work there are quite pleasant, and the coffee was hot, strong and complimentary. Also two big-screen TVs.... read more
