What should have been a simple request turned into a nightmare. I was hung up on SIX different times while trying to get assistance. When I originally called to update my policy after trading in my car, I was told I had to cancel my existing policy and start an entirely new one. This resulted in me having to pay an additional $750 just to keep coverage in place, on top of my regular payment that was due only two weeks later. The process and costs were never clearly explained. To make matters worse, I received notices in the mail stating that my policy was missing required vehicle photos. However, when I contacted customer service, they could clearly see that the photos had already been submitted and simply uploaded them to my policy themselves. So why was I being threatened with issues over documents they already had? The lack of communication, repeated disconnections, conflicting information, and overall disorganization caused unnecessary stress and wasted hours of my time. Insurance is supposed to provide peace of mind. Instead, dealing with Freeway Insurance has been one of the most aggravating customer service experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend Freeway Insurance based on my experience.

I got a call from agent Brenden Robinson from this office. We had a good conversation and he provided a formal quote. It was less than I'm paying today. But there was an issue with the "dwelling" coverage being a bit too low. I got off the phone and did some research and determined that the policy wouldn't cover the costs of rebuilding my house if it was destroyed by fire. So I called and emailed Robinson (and Ken Gooch) about whether we could increase the amount provided for rebuilding the house. I was ready to sign with them provided we could address that issue. Then nothing. After an initial set of emails from their office, they went totally silent. I called multiple numbers -- a human never answered the phone; it was always VM. I emailed Brendan and Ken Gooch both multiple times asking to have a conversation to finalize the coverage. I even reached out to Gooch on LinkedIn trying to get his attention. This was totally bizarre; I had a formal quote. They had called me. But after that initial phone conversation and first email exchanges, zero. They totally ghosted me. I gave them numerous opportunities to respond. If they decided they didn't want to cover me, they could've said that in some from. That would've been OK. But they dropped off the face of the earth. If these guys won't respond to someone who's ready to "write them a check," what's it going to be like when someone has a claim and actually needs service/support?

I get a call from my mortgage company notifying me that my mortgage is increasing by $200+ per month because of insurance. I called to find out how that's possible when my insurance wasn't that expensive. They told me that I never implemented insurance. I called Summit Partners Insurance, only to find out that they never took care of it on their end like they told me they were going to. And, they never reached out to me to tell me that there was any kind of issue. They just simply dropped the ball. Now they are telling me that it's going to cost me an extra $1000 (going from $1800 to $2800) to set up a new policy. Seriously watch out for this company.
