Yesterday, I had a scheduled appt. for ants on the patio.. Jose M. serviced the account, and was very efficient! After having the arborist removes some trees, (yesterday), they uncovered a big ant colony! Progressive to the rescue... I called to see if he could come back and the office staff, went out of her way to dispatch a call to him. He did come out, but my arborist was still in the yard. 8/1/12024- Jose came out and sprayed a wider area, as the ants probably won't come back to the same area. We were having rodent and ant problems that our current pest company was struggling with resolving. Additionally we have a vacant back lot that was rapidly growing weeds that Tru-Green could never figure out how to spray for me. Progressive quoted me less for ant and rodent service than I'd been paying the previous company. William came on a Saturday afternoon with his vehicle to spray the open space in about 10 minutes which would have taken me forever with my backpack sprayer. Then he sprayed all the flower beds around the house, and laid traps in the crawl space. In three weeks, all the weeds are GONE and we haven't had a hint of an ant or rodent. Been a customer since 2017. This business is awesome. They come on a quarterly basis doing the pest control. Also, once a year I also have them spray my whole area for weeds. I have a sloped area in my backyard which makes it difficult to get to to pull the weeds that grow up there. And as a senior citizen, the last thing I want to do is fall. I would recommend them to anyone needing these services. I have had Terminex in the past and was not satisfied with them at all, especially when I started getting calls from their Las Vegas numbers when I already had an account set up here in Reno. When they refused to stop calling me, I terminated their service immediately. It took complaints to the Nevada Attorney Generals office to get them to stop calling even when I requested them to stop several times. So much happier with Progressive Pest Management, and their prices are fantastic, very affordable. read more

This company was requested to do an inspection for our home sale. I was in living room watching TV, he comes from master bath, quickly goes downstairs then back up to tell me there is a "Really Bad Leak downstairs!" I ran downstairs and said what did you do!?!?!? After 50 "I'm so sorry Ma'am's" I went upstairs to see he flooded the master bathroom floor! In not to friendly words I told him to go now! Went outside to catch him telling the other inspectors it was my fault! After very colorful words telling him he is a massive liar he split. But damage was done, he told them all I had a bad pipe break and as we all know once stupid words are said you are screwed. It caused so many problems with our home sale from HIS errors and HIS lies. This company was used to do our initial pest inspection so we decided to use them again when we saw a bunch of little ants making their way inside. Jose came out both times. He's a nice guy who knows his job and is very efficient. He even took a few minutes to explain a bug issue with a tree. I believe he will come back in three months for the next treatment. Where do I begin on FRAUD? This company came out to our house for a pest inspection and falsely wrote that we had a mold issue and need a "treatment" just to get money. Word out is this COMPANY DOES this on purpose. We hired another competitor to come for a second opinion and was told there was zero risk of any mold. It was a 24 hour argument to just get more money and add another line item and potentially cause us to lose the sale of our home. They then sent out a manager whom declared there was in fact no mold!!!!!! Stop being shady and do the right work for hard working people selling their homes!!!!!! read more

07/01/17 After returning from a trip out of town we found that sugar ants had invaded our home. We called around in the morning trying to get someone to come out in the near future. Progressive Pest Management actually had a person answer and were able to squeeze us in that day. The gentleman that showed up was jovial, kind, understanding and through. His name was Ron and he asked questions and then informed us what he would do. He then went straight to work. Before leaving he informed us that they would return and reapply treatment if we saw any ants in a week. We did notice a few ants and called and made an appointment. Anyway, John is the Pest Man who comes to our house, and also has done inspections for us, and is currently scheduled to do an inspection for us next week (yes, different houses). The reason I became familiar with the company is because they perform work that many of the other Pest companies in Reno do not. For instance you can have one person come out and do the regular pest stuff like spraying, or baiting, AND they can do work on wood destroying fungus AND they can plug up those pesky crawlspace holes where critters come. So one stop shopping here whereas many other companies just stare at you...sort of like my cat. read more

I met this company at a Reno home show. I passed by the first time as they seemed to be a little disorganized at their booth. I visited other pest control companies and returned to the Progressive booth as I liked their display and where a "young" company appearing to just be starting out. My gut instinct said move on but my heart said give them a chance. I signed a service agreement and schedule the 1st visit. The service person showed up as schedule, went into the crawl for about 7 minutes then went to his truck to start this large machine to spray pesticide(s). The machine wouldn't start and he could not use it. He then proceeded to use a 2 gallon hand sprayer in place of this large machine. I was not impressed and did not received the service he should have provided with the large machine! I asked "don't you test your equipment before you start the day'? He replied with a no. I also asked when he would come back and do it right. He said the hand sprayer should do most of the work. The next day I called and paid for a service I did not get and cancelled the contract. Their was no offer of compromise or to come back and do it right. I can not recommend this company. read more

I was with my previous pest control company for 15 years and this year they didn't show. Not sure what happen to them. I called several other companies before finding Progressive. At first I was concerned when I spoke to the person in the office because I had to have them come out a second time to spray the inside and was made to feel like it was my fault I had pests. Anyway the tech came out was very professional and explained what was going on this year with ants and other pests. When my second month appointment was scheduled, it seemed they had a new person in the office, she was very helpful and did what she said she was going to do. I received a call from Alan who came out after I got off work, took care of my problem and I am very happy with Progressive.
