That decision has turned out to be one of the best we've made, and we've happily called Quail Creek home ever since. Over the years, I've gotten to know many of my neighbors, and several have become close friends. I've also stayed actively involved in the community by serving on committees and the HOA Board. That involvement has given me a unique perspective on the care and effort that goes into keeping the property safe, well-maintained, and enjoyable for residents. One thing I especially appreciate is the sense of community. The HOA and Social Committee host annual events that bring people together, and they've created some wonderful memories. One of my favorites was a holiday light tour with hot cocoa during our annual holiday celebration. Right now we're planning our summer movie by the pool! The amenities are another highlight. The pool is my favorite place to cool off during the summer, while the hot tub offers a welcome warm-up during colder months. I also enjoy taking walks along the winding paths that follow the creek that runs throughout the property. It's peaceful, scenic, and one of the features that truly makes Quail Creek unique and feel like home. After a busy day, there's nothing better than relaxing on my patio with a glass of wine, observing the wildlife -- including lizards, birds, squirrels, ducks, and rabbits (and the occasional possum or raccoon), and listening to the soothing sound of the creek below. Another thing I appreciate is the location. Quail Creek is just minutes from Claremont Village, with its great selection of restaurants, cafés, and local shops -- some uniquely located in the historic lemon packing house. It's close enough that I sometimes choose to walk instead of drive. Grocery shopping is also convenient, with Sprouts, Trader Joe's, and Superior Grocers all nearby. If you're looking for a community that offers beautiful, mature landscaping, enjoyable amenities, and opportunities to get to know your neighbors, Quail Creek is well worth considering. After more than eight years here, I'm still happy to call it home.

That alone says so much about how much we love living here. I truly feel safe and secure in this community, which is such an important thing for me. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. They always greet you with a smile and are patient whenever you have questions (or call them multiple times like me.) The office gals, Leah, Allison, and Jackie (and I know there is another floater but I can't recall her name right now) are especially sweet and understanding, which makes such a difference in my experience here. They take the time to plan different events for us as residents to help build community and I love and appreciate that so much! Maintenance is also amazing..always timely, professional, and so helpful. We absolutely love Gus!! He's the best and always makes sure everything is taken care of quickly and with care. Paloma really feels like home to us. We're so happy we chose to stay and upgrade instead of leaving. Highly recommend living here!

No…read moremore worrying someone will steal our packages, no more shady people hanging around our unit, and much better neighbors have moved in. MW is now a better and nicer community to live in. ******************************************************* My husband and I bought our condo here one year ago. We decided to buy over continued renting in order to have equity and invest that into a future single family residence. Mission Woods was what was in our budget at the time so we settled on this complex to buy. We've been back and forth on whether it was the right decision or not. I don't know if we just drew bad luck with our neighbors or if it's like this throughout the complex but we've had several problems with ours including stolen packages. Luckily, we were able to put a stop to it by confronting the culprit's parents face to face. From what I've observed, most of the apartments/condos are not inhabited by the owners, but rather by renters. This makes it less likely they're as invested in the complex as owners. The complex is nice with a tennis court and pools. There is ample parking for residents and guests. It has the potential to be a really great place to live, but there has to be greater effort put into the observation of the HOA rules and landlords being held accountable for their tenants. We just want to live here long enough to save up and sell and buy a single family home.

Chris first attempted to sell us a house that we believed to be overpriced. My husband and I passed on the property and then asked the agent / developer if he had any additional properties for sale, and he said "No". But it wasn't long before we came across an even better property that was newly built and for a lot less. Then to our surprise, the 2-story house was also owned by Chris. After our offer was accepted, my husband and I contacted Chris and asked him why he didn't inform us about the new house that was available. Chris said in an irritated tone, "It slipped my mind". Seemingly embarrassed, Chris became angrier due to being confronted or caught. Despite how polite my husband talked to him, Chris was disrespectful and continued raising his voice and speaking over him. Chris told us that he would call us the next day, but he didn't. Though he accepted our offer for his house, he would end up not keeping his word. I am not in a hurry to buy a home and have nothing personal against Chris. I just wanted to tell our story because I believe it is a cautionary tale for others. Good luck!

There are a lot of things in life you only do once or twice, and the first time doing it can be a huge learning process because, well....it's your first time. A wedding, raising a child, buying your first home, picking your pokemon go team, etc. Well, going through your dad's home and preparing it for close of escrow is one of those things. THANK GOODNESS there are companies like Grasons Estate Sales. Initially, I reached out to my realtor to get their advice on what to do. They said they could help me find someone to just literally dump everything in my dad's house. It would have costed me $3500 to do so. But I thought that would be such a waste, as I wanted to sell or donate as much of the items as possible. That's where Grasons Estate Sales came in. Initial consult, they came through and looked through the home, explained their process, and gave their initial impressions. They come in a couple days ahead to prep the home...put up some tables to line up your items and stuff. Then, they run the estate sale in your home for a couple of days over the weekend and take a % of the sales. Then, they (optionally) can dump everything you don't want. Or, you can arrange something yourself. You just pay them for their time/labor. Essentially, you are using the proceeds from the sales to help offset the cost of clearing out the home. Turns out, I came out slightly ahead after everything was said and done! Imagine having to try to sell items by yourself. You know how flaky those Facebook marketplace people can be. It would take literally weeks/months to sell items yourself in the time Grasons Estate Sales took. So much time and headache averted! I'm totally satisfied with the job Grasons Estate Sales performed. As I mentioned earlier, I was out of town, so by the time the estate sale happened, I was already gone. So, we communicated via text for everything, and their PM, Sunshine, was on top of things to send me progress photos and receipts of the sold items. Oh, and they were honest enough to even tell me they found $7 in one of my dad's drawers, and returned that to me! Really chill and honest company. Couldn't recommended enough!
