I spent 13 hrs. in the ER waiting to be seen by the doctor. I was having chest pains and shortness…read moreof breath. I was evaluated pretty quickly. It included blood pressure, EKG, blood work, urinalysis, etc. This ruled out a life-threatening emergency . I was reevaluated every few hrs or so. At that point, I could have left since a heart attack was ruled out, or I'm sure I would have received immediate care. A triage nurse has extra training in emergency evaluations. I was seen by the doctor after 14 hrs. of waiting and then admitted for two days. This is just my opinion. I think a lot of the people in the ER could have gone to an urgent care or waited to see their doctor the next day. Some people did leave. I guess they decided they weren't that sick. The wait time is ridiculous, but what can the hospital and staff do when people keep coming in. There are also ambulances coming in as well. The staff did their best to make people as comfortable as possible. In my opinion the staff work very hard to take care of the patients. I don't know what the solution is, but I do know it's people much higher up that need to fix the problem . It's sure not the staff.

I myself was in the same industry for 25 years so I know a good doctor when I meet one. Parking lot was clean with ample parking, the building looked nice aesthetically, you walked in and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. When I was taken in to the initial pretesting the technician was very friendly and very precise. She made me feel comfortable in what she was doing and how she was handling the tests. I used to administer these tests myself when I was in the optical field so I do know when it's done properly or not. About 5 minutes later I was taking into the office to meet with the doctor, the doctor's assistant that initially took care of me and checked my vision very thorough, very friendly, very knowledgeable. When the doctor came in she had a big smile on her face, she made me feel comfortable and that was a great relief considering I was going there for a very serious eye condition. She was thorough, very precise, kept me informed on everything that she was doing, put my fears to rest, and I felt very comfortable with her diagnosis. When I went to the desk to check out both Debbie and Erin C were super friendly and made it very easy to make the two follow-up appointments that I needed to make. I highly, highly, highly recommend this practice. Whether you need just general optometric care as in a general eye exam, or if you need specialized Care from one of the ophthalmologist as a previous professional in the field I say that you cannot go wrong seeing the doctors in this practice. I made my appointment on ZooDoc for 12:30pm and we arrived to office at 12:40pm. They left me a VM at 12:27pm asking if I was still coming for my appointment. Yes! I was escorting my daughter on crutches due to a broken foot. The building is not Handicap accessible meaning the doors have to be opened manually and there are two Double doors. So good luck getting in if someone cannot manually open doors for a the handicap person. The office is on the second floor which is inconvenient if u cannot walk due to ankle/foot problems. So you have to take an elevator and walk to office. The office door is not handicap assessable so if you are on crutches or walker or wheel chair do not bother with an appointment here.

She readily referred me when I wanted an implant. She is gentle and often cleans my teeth herself. She always does a thorough exam of my mouth. She or the hygienist gives me tips on improving care of my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Gibbons.
