I walked into Progressive Tattoo after going to 2 other places and I'm so glad my end result was here. I was greeted immediately from friendly staff and told them I needed help with a jewelry change. John was able to help me and he was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuine. He spent a good amount of time explaining in detail how to help me with my problem which was irritation/hypertrophic scarring. I look forward to coming here again. read more

Hard to review the business as I wound up there due to following my tattoo artist, Regina Farlese, who started working there after leaving her previous place of employment. Regina has been my artist since 2011 and have had 6 tattoos done by her. Two were cover ups of tattoos I got when I was 18 and 19 years old. Today's visit was to fix up a tattoo from 13 years ago that faded over time. After her work, it definitely looks a helluva lot better. Also added "Hile Gunslinger." Stephen King fans will understand. As for the store....clean, brightly lit and plenty of appealing artwork and trinkets. I loved the decorated bathroom! So my daughter was tatted by Rustin & I loved hers, so I decided to get one to match it. I went in with no appointment, Rustin was finishing up with another client so I waited maybe 25 minutes & while I waited, the guy that greeted us went over the tat I wanted, explained the process and was very nice & professional. My nerves were bad, so this put me at ease. The shop is clean, and everyone was friendly. The tat took maybe 20 minutes, afterwards he asked if I was happy with it & advised me on the healing process. Since I want a couple more tats, I will be back. I visited May 2016 read more

I just want to first say I have never had a bad experience here... until today. I went in with my girl and she needed to replace a piercing. Walked in wasn't greeted and when this guy finally walked up he was rude and very short with his answers. I will come back, but not if that heavyset guy with his gray beard is there. Throw him an idea and he will work with you to get it just the way you like it . Super attentive to detail, makes you super comfortable, extremely friendly and just cool asf . Went in not to long ago was looking to get some prices and took a friend to tag along with me. The one guy seemed more concerned with just nonsense and jokes and barely spoke about the tattoo. plus made me and my friend uncomfortable af and super unprofessional. it's one thing to be nice and flirty but he was pushing it and it was clear we were uncomfortable at that point. My cousin & I decided on a whim to get tattoos while I was back home visiting. My last artist is no longer with us, and we had a (understandably) hard time finding someone available last minute. We happened upon Progressive Tattoo and gave them a call. Fortunately they were able to fit BOTH of us in same day. Let me tell you: I will never go anywhere else for a tattoo again. I've met some really talented artists & I love all of my tattoos, but none of them have been done by the same person, because I could never find the perfect artist for me. Clark totally changed my world! I live in Florida currently, but you can bet I'll travel 1000 miles for these guys. Clark is so light handed that I barely felt a thing - even on the more sensitive spots. On top of the excellent service, the whole shop was super clean. Easily the cleanest I've ever been in! My experience at Progressive was a great one. My tattoo was done by Mike Capobianco. He was so friendly and he did my tattoo flawlessly, about 1 year ago. I am in love with it. It is beautiful. I got 3 roses with calla lilies tattooed onto my left ribs. We did my tattoo in two 3 hour sessions.. outline, then color. It was very easy to make it through the pain because there was always someone there to talk to and take my mind off of the pain. At the end, when my ribs were swollen and in pain, Mike was very helpful and put numbing spray on it so that I could make it through the last hour. He was very sweet and encouraging. I will definitely be back there for Mike. Maybe I will add more to my current tattoo. read more

Very unprofessional, I have never received a tattoo at this shop. I was considering making this my new stop for piercing and tattoos, considering this was my second time here. However the lack of professionalism is rather a turn off. I came to get a pricing- i asked if I was able to use a stud they said yes - the guy rushed the whole piercing and put the ugliest big tacky earring in my ear after charging me- 10 over the piercing price. He charged me 40 it should of been 30. They profile you and will up charge. read more

This is by far the best place to go for tattoos and piercings. I got my industrial pierced for the second time (at a different shop) about 2 months ago and I was really unhappy with the placement. I saw Progressive one day as I was driving and stopped in to see if there was anyway it could be re-pierced the way that I wanted it. As soon as I walked in I could see that the shop was very clean. D immediately greeted me and was extremely nice. He explained that he could re-pierce it but I would have to let the old one heal first so I took it out. I went back a couple of times over the next few weeks to see if he thought it was healed enough to pierce and last night it finally was. I was so nervous about the pain because the other two times of getting this done were not fun and I bled like crazy. D marked my ear to make sure I was happy with the placement, walked me through everything, let me procrastinate for awhile, and made me feel super comfortable. The piercing was over in 2 seconds. I barely felt it this time and my ear didn't really bleed at all. The placements perfect and I'm so happy with it. When I went to pay, D wouldn't take my money because I had come back in so many times. Not only is he an excellent piercer but he excels in customer service as well.
