I had put in an Internet inquiry for an appointment for a NF car accident. I received a prompt…read morereply the next day and set an appointment for the following day. I made sure to let the woman I spoke to know that it was for a NF case. When I arrived 35 minutes early for my appointment I wasn't acknowledged at all until about a half hour later when the receptionist asked for my insurance cards. I told her I wasn't going through my insurance because it was NF and the instant I said it, the receptionist tried to dissuade me from seeing the doctor even though I was already there for my app. She asked if I had another doctor I could go to because I hadn't been to this office in years and they didn't have my history. When I was insistent on keeping the app I had already made she asked for a copy of my car insurance ID, I don't carry a physical copy with me and didn't have it and the receptionist jumped on the opportunity to send me away. I am a medical biller and I have billed NF before, it may be office policy to obtain a copy but they don't need the copy to bill out the claim. The policy # and claim # (both of which I had) would suffice. She could've taken the information and asked me to bring a copy at my earliest convenience. But like I said she was ready to get rid of me the second I alerted her to it being a NF case and refused to take me on without it. I have never had such a disrespectful /incompetent experience at a doctor's office before. I don't recommend this office to anyone.

They are nothing short of rude. The final straw for me was last month, I'm sitting in the waiting room and a couple nurses are behind the desk, talking very loudly. Everyone in the waiting room can hear them with ease. They begin saying horrific things like, "I hate doing the old ladies..like I want to look at your old gross vag***??!" I was absolutely appalled. It was so sad to see numerous older women in the waiting room cross their legs and look down in shame, obviously embarrassed now. I saw Susan a few times and she was brilliant- very knowledgable and in tune with women's issues. At the suggestion of the front desk staff, I saw Dr. Livoti after my regular birth control consult with Susan, and he pinpointed a problem I'd been suffering with for years. In ten minutes, he managed to accurately find and begin to treat my PCOS (and area in which he specializes) and it was really, really great to get some information as I did not realize it was easily manageable. Waits are short and the office is not hectic. Definitely glad I found Dr. Livoti, and would strongly recommend him as a great gyno in the area.

I trust her implicitly with our care. She is caring and attentive, and makes me feel like I am the most important patient to her-even when there is a full waiting room. Until now I have been lucky enough to only require routine care from her, but I have close friends who credit her with saving their daughters life. My daughter has been a patient here since she was a teenager and has had multiple experiences involving intimate exams that left her feeling uncomfortable, pressured, and violated. At 17, she had a pelvic exam that she says was not adequately explained to her beforehand. I was in the room but behind a curtain and did not hear Dr. Schwartz explain that an internal exam was going to be performed or ask whether my daughter was comfortable proceeding. I did not learn how upset she was until afterward. At 18, during her first appointment alone, my daughter says Nurse Practitioner Henderson repeatedly told her that because she was now 18, she was REQUIRED to have a Pap smear. She was scared but reluctantly agreed because she believed she had no choice. I later learned that ACOG does NOT recommend routine cervical cancer screening before age 21 for average-risk patients. September 9, 2026 was the final straw. My daughter went in for a birth control refill. She says she was asked to have a pelvic exam and clearly said NO. She was then told by the nurse practitioner that if she would not have the pelvic exam, she needed to have a breast exam to receive her birth control. She said she was uncomfortable with that too. According to my daughter, she was shown that the prescription was already written but was told she needed to agree to the breast exam if she wanted it. Because she relies on this medication to control significant menstrual bleeding, she felt she had no meaningful choice and reluctantly agreed. She came home extremely upset, feeling violated and pressured into giving consent. CDC guidance states that routine pelvic and breast exams are not required simply to prescribe most hormonal birth control to an otherwise healthy patient. My issue is CONSENT. A patient should be able to say NO without feeling that access to medication depends on agreeing to an intimate exam. When I called Dr. Schwartz afterward, I expected concern. Instead, I spent approximately 45 minutes feeling talked over while she defended herself, the practice, and staff and then proceeded to tell me how I should feel. My daughter left feeling like her "no" did not matter. We will not be returning.

I also asked for testing and I was told no several times because they felt it was unnecessary. They also mess up my prescriptions every single time as well. It's really so disrespectful how they treat patients. It is truly upsetting and disruptive to any patient's life especially when it is an extremely important form of health care. It is frustrating, exhausting, and upsetting. Even more so when there is an issue every single time.

His office is sometimes a very long wait time but it's because he spends time with each patient. Ive seen women yell and complain in the office and honestly you don't know if there is a woman inside a room dealing with a complicated pregnancy, a miscarriage, or another health issue. People need to get a grip. The wait is worth it. Bring a book for goodness sake! That being said Dr. P is very sweet, dedicated, and helpful. He knows his stuff and made me feel very comfortable during my pregnancy. And he was great during delivery. Highly recommend his office!
