Even if you aren't a regular facial-type-of-person, you should come to get set on a good at-home product routine that fits your skin type. Melissa can help with that. She has years of experience being an esthetician and worked at a dermatologist office for a long time. She therefore knows skin all the way through, and not just topically. She's also traveled across the country teaching others how to use lasers. I truly appreciated soaking in knowledge from her throughout our appointment and asking all of my skincare questions. The brands she uses for facials and recommends to clients are the same ones that both my dermatologist and a desired celeb esthetician that I've followed for years uses on all of the stars. This is what initially drew me to Uesthetics because those are really the only type of products I want on my face. I knew that anything from these lines would be amazing on my skin and was excited to be able to get such a quality facial. She uses iS Clinical, Elta MD, Alastin (all scientifically recommended and very effective). I had a free, 30-minute virtual consultation beforehand so Melissa could walk me through a good routine for my skin and see how she could help. (Initial consultations are always free!). She didn't try to sell a single thing and it was SO helpful because I found out that I was using some products that weren't doing anything for my skin, which I've now dropped from my routine. Afterwards, I booked my first appointment and put in the form that I wasn't sure which facial to choose, but wanted her to recommend one once she saw my skin in person. We ended up doing microdermabrasion, which uses a suction to remove clogged pores, remove hair on your face and get rid of dead skin cells. It's exfoliating, which helps prevent acne, helps makeup go on easier, and makes your skin brighter. She then did a calming face mask to fill my skin with moisture and eliminate redness. My skin immediately looked brighter, plumper and felt tighter. I was the only one in the area since they were keeping guests separated. The technician Natasha was professional, friendly, and easy to chat with. She changed her disposal gloves multiple times, kept a face mask on, and used disposable wooden scoops to get products. She also let me test out water temperature and warm towel temperature to make sure it wasn't too hot for my preferences. They are slowly growing their business, but currently offer a variety of treatments. I went in for the first time on a Saturday morning to try out the IR Sauna with salt therapy. Their entrance/lobby area is beautiful, comfortable, inviting and relaxing. I was greeted right away by the owner, checked in, and signed the waiver. While waiting, they offer coffee and cold beverages such as bottled water, Lacroix and San Pellegrino. I had time to chat with the owner about his business and how it got started. Ironically enough, the person in the IR Sauna when I arrived, was no other than our Community Manager Nikki! So we chatted while the room was switched over. Upon, entering the IR Sauna room located at the front of the business, I was instructed on different controls, lighting options, changing/dressing options, and music preference. The Sauna itself is an enclosed sauna within a small room. You have the room to yourself and the door locks. You are allowed to dress as you wish inside the sauna, and they provide you with a towel and a robe. There are 20min and 40min session options for the sauna. There is also light therapy offered for the sauna, with a sign on the wall describing the benefits of each color of light. Unlike a traditional steam sauna, you do not sweat as much and can last longer inside the IR Sauna. For my first time, I lasted 18 min before I needed to open the door and step out for some cooler air before returning for the last bit. Currently, single IR Sauna sessions are $25 for 20 min and $40 for 40 min. But they offer package deals for the IR Sauna: 10 sessions (20 or 40 min) is $150, 5 sessions is $100. Unlimited sessions are $100/month. And you can add on a salt boost (which has essential oils and a stronger salt content) for an extra $10. If you are unsure about this service, you can try out a 20min session for $1! The restroom is very spacious and clean, offers hair ties, gum, and mints.
