Recently, we've been without a kitchen and Project Lean Nation (PLN) was recommended to me as a way to still eat healthy while dealing with this situation. My first visit i was promptly greeted and given an outline of what they offer. I decided to purchase a variety of meals to try them out and I was thoroughly pleased! Loved the Hawaiian burger and the burger and fries. I thought the price for the meals was spot on also. I have been back already and will continue to keep going there in the future. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel comfortable. The food is good, some of could be less garlicly, less fat on the meat. I loved the idea of clean healthy eating all conveniently packaged for the week so I decided to give PLN a try. I particularly was trying to get in shape for my wedding and with a job that demands a lot of hours plus trying to fit in the gym, PLN allowed me to stay on track with my fitness goals and not spend hours meal prepping either. The meals were over all delicious although they could have been more flavorful. I talked to one of the representatives there about that and they mentioned they try to keep the meals low sodium but a lot of people will add hot sauce etc. which I started doing. I also wished the shakes were available in other flavors other than chocolate but the team said hopefully that'll come soon. Although I've taken a break for the summer from PLN since my husband and I have been doing more grilling of our own, we still come for our Sunday morning shakes which are dairy free, nutritious and delicious! read more

I have been going to Project Lean Nation for months now to get smoothies. They have a great variety and are happy to try different combinations for you as well. I have a lactose sensitivity and they always have some sort of plant-based alternative to the whey protein powder that goes in their smoothies. The smoothies are delicious and make you feel awake, energized, satisfied, and great! I cannot say enough about their customer service! All the employees are truly friendly and interested in their customers. Even if I haven't been there in weeks, the employees still remember me and what is happening in my life. The first thing...the food is fantastic...the second thing, it's a real portion! I think after that, nothing else really matters. I am still on my first "trial" week of PLN but am love with the food. I've been getting meals here since early 2015. I would recommend this company to anyone that is trying to eat healthy and clean and trying to loose weight. The food is decent and there is a nice variety. The staff does a great job of asking about how you are doing and finding out about your goals. They have 30 day and 45 day challenges which are awesome and really helped me stay on my goal. The owners are on site all of the time (Leslie and Tim), and you can tell that they care about their clients. They have healthy protein shakes as well. 80 percent of weight loss is what, how and when you eat. It is possible to loose a Lot of weight just by having discipline. These guys help a bunch. The trick is giving it at least 90 days. The weight fell off my body. Ask them about the 30 day and 45 day groups. It's worth the cost ($7-8 per Meal, I got myself fat and unhealthy eating $20 meals for years). Go in and talk with their staff and see for yourself. read more

I signed up for the WholeLife plan to lose weight and it worked! In my first three weeks, I lost 11 pounds!! The downside though is the lack of variety in the meals. Every meal included potatoes (white, red, Yukon, or sweet). And most included either kale or Brussel sprouts. After the second week the lack of variety made it painful to keep going, but I stuck with it. I am now into my fifth week and I'm starting to see some other vegetables (like broccoli) in my meals. If you're motivated to lose weight, or want to eat clean, healthy meals this is a good solution. Just know that there is a lack of variety in the WholeLife plan. read more

Finally! A place that provides healthy on the go meals and shakes!! I have always been into fitness and nutrition and know very well how much time it can take to prepare a healthy meal - and measure the right portions. Project lean nation does it all for you for only 6.50 a meal! People huff and puff saying it's not worth it for the amount of food but what you need to understand is portion control! They even provide meals for a week so you don't have to cook or even lift a finger, it's all done for you! They have a wide variety of shakes that I still need to try, and the best staff I have ever seen! Over the years I have done the PLN meal plan a few different times. For someone that doesn't have much time to prep meals, like me, it is a great option to stay on track with your fitness goals. In the past model you didn't know what you were going to get and as I tried some of the options I figured out what I did and didn't like which sometimes limited the options that I did like in my box each week. This year they gave the option to select the meals in your box. This is an AMAZING feature for me. I've found a good mix of meals that I am more likely to eat and if I try one that I don't like, I can just switch it out for the next box. They also just added some new options to the menu that I'm excited about (buffalo chicken dip, Kung pao chicken, philly cheese steak, to name a few!). I will advise I personally do not care for their ground turkey - those meals I had to choke down so I make sure not to order them anymore. I have only been eating the project lean nation meals for a few weeks now but so far so good. This is real food not frozen diet dinners packed with chemicals and high sodium.The food taste like food. The biggest thing to remember is that project lean nation is not a fad quickie diet but its a lifestyle change to eat and live healthy.
