I had FGS requote this year. FGS was slightly more expensive than the other quotes we got, but came recommended by my roofer and had good reviews. They also seemed to understand what I wanted better than the other companies I got quotes from, so I went with them on the deck job. They were able to start the project when I wanted them to and were done in a couple weeks. I also had them repair the woodwork on my house around the deck and repair an outlet that wasn't working (for an extra cost). After completion, the deck and other work look great and everything functions as new. I am very pleased and finally started using my deck for some outdoor griddling this past weekend. FSG did a great job and I would be very happy to use them again for other projects!

Home X Remodeling was contracted with Lowe's and I got a call from Mr. Franciso the scheduler from…read morehome X Remodeling to schedule the cabinet installation Mr. Franciso told us, 1- the installer will come Friday October 20/2023 and since they are not working on Saturday and Sunday the installer will come Friday, Monday and Tuesday to finish the installation of cabinets, 2- they were at my condo on Thursday instead of Friday and since I was there I let them in to start the job. 3-On Friday we got a call from Mr. Stuardo Gordo the installer boss saying they will not come on Friday I understood since they were at my condo on Thursday. 4- Monday October 23, they came and finished floor cabinet installation till 5pm and left the 3 remaining wall cabinets to be installed on Tuesday since I am in high rise condo, and they can only work from 9-5pm 5- We were expecting the installer to come Tues. as the scheduling person Mr. Franciso said they will finish the job on Tuesday, then the installer told me they are not to come on Tuesday I called Mr. Stuardo Gordo their boss why they are not coming on Tuesday to finish the 3 remaining wall cabinets, he was so rude, disrespectful and said they are wasting the time if they come for just couple of hours to finish installing the 3 remaining wall cabinets, he said they have another job (installing the 3 remaining wall cabinets) was not a job for them? Mr. Stuardo said we have to wait for countertop installation which takes 3-4 weeks so they can come and finish the remaining 3 wall cabinets, he did not let me finish and hung up on me. Am I to deal with the mess around my condo since everything is in boxes all around the place for 3-4 weeks just to get the 3 remaining wall cabinets to be installed? I do not understand why wall cabinets have to do anything with countertop for floor cabinets. I know countertop takes 3-4 weeks to be measured and fabricated but Mr. Stuardo said we have to wait till the countertop to be installed meaning I have to wait another 4 weeks then he did not let me talk and hung up on me. Again, I told him and his boss Mr. Franciso the countertop installation has nothing to do with wall cabinet. I am very upset Mr. Franciso said talk to Lowe's since we are contracted with them. The Home X Remodeling crew are very disrespectful and rude. DO NOT work with these people as they are not on time, they do not care for customers. They created very bad experience and frustration for us. If you are thinking about working with Home X Remodeling, think twice before you hire them. Also I will let Lowe's know what company they are contracting with since Lowe's reputation is on line and important as well. Never recommend Home X remodeling anybody.

Phenomenal work!…read more AVC Home Improvement fully renovated our family room full bathroom. It was a full gut -- complete renovation with new everything: lighting, heated flooring, vanity, tub with handheld shower, and more. They were exceptionally knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. To prevent the family room from getting dirty, they covered the floors and furniture in the entire family room. They always came on time and were incredibly diligent in their work. What I especially liked about AVC Home Improvement is that they are the ones who are actually do all the work. They are not a company who contract out their work. We had additional requests during the renovation of our full bathroom: adding lighting for the tub/shower area, installing grab bars and heated flooring. AVC didn't hesitate to accommodate our requests. They also installed a new utility room sink for the washing machine, and relocated the washing machine so that it is now next to the dryer. That makes it so much easier for us. Their recommendations for the electrician and countertop people were also exceptional. I would not hesitate to use ACV Home Improvement for any future renovations, and happily recommend their services to others.

I was in a desperate fix. It would have been easy for any contractor to try to gouge someone in my situation. Elements not only gave us a reasonable price, they did the job very well and finished it with days to spare. They had interest-free financing available for us to bridge the gap while we refinanced our home to pay for the work. They were even willing to talk to my insurance company/State Board of Insurance if it would have helped. In other words, they owned my problem without any obligation to do so. Home Contractors are famous for being flaky and doing crummy work. It's a horrible industry. Elements Home Remodeling seems to have a great business model. "Do good work and be obvious about doing so. The contrast will bring in business". I cannot recommend EHR enough. Really.
