George is my go-to contractor. We first used his services to do a complete gut renovation of our kitchen, bathroom, and floors. We were traveling during the original demo work and had a friend come by to check on the progress. She's worked with different contractors before, and noted that George's team was on time, efficient, and cleaned up well after themselves every day, including hauling away any debris. It was great we didn't have to have a dumpster on our property! As work progressed on the house, George highlighted that our electrical work was very old and original to the 1941 house, and it might be prudent to update, especially since the walls were already open. He quoted a price that - after a little research on my part - I realized was very fair. George was exceedingly patient with all my questions and changes. It was apparent that he genuinely wanted us to be happy with the finished product, and any requests ("George, I know you've already run the cable this wall, but could you run it to the other one instead"; "George, I know I said I didn't want a 4 inch backsplash, but would you be able to put one in?") were met with "no problem, absolutely." However, he didn't over promise. When there were things that I asked for that he wasn't sure could be done, he told me he'd try his best but if it didn't work here was option B or C. Their efficiency was also very impressive. In fact, they probably could have finished everything even sooner if we picked out the materials faster! My recommendation to anyone using George is that once they start, they will progress faster than you think so have your tile, floor, hardware, etc all picked out. Since we were so pleased with George's renovation, we also used him when we wanted to put a three-story addition to our house. We originally had another project manager assigned, but we weren't happy with the communication and progress, so requested that George take over. Once he did, the entire project went so much more smoothly. As before, George was efficient and flexible. If we wanted to change something, it was either "absolutely, no problem" or a clear "that upgrade will be X amount, let me know if you want to go forward with it." So there were no surprises when it came to extra costs. He is also very responsive - when our basement flooded soon after work was completed because the breaker to the outlet where the sump pump was plugged in failed, I called George up very early on a Saturday morning in a panic, and his team was there in 30 minutes to diagnose the problem and rip out carpet and some drywall. George's prices are competitive for the area, and he's trustworthy and efficient. Highly recommend. read more

Panorama Remodeling has recently completed an extensive remodeling of our kitchen, living and dining rooms. This project merged three rooms which required the removal of walls, installation of new hardwood floors, installation of new cabinets & countertops, extensive rewiring, installation of new windows, asbestos abatement and new plumbing. The Panorama crew took precautions to mitigate the impact on the environment for the health of themselves and the occupants of the house. The project involved a variety of trades and scheduling with 3rd party contractors and county permits & inspections.The remodeling project passed all county inspections with no rewiring or other rework needed. George's recommendations for component suppliers were spot on. The suppliers provided excellent quality materials with timely deliveries. Where possible, materials were manufactured in the U.S.. George's coordination of deliveries and 3rd party contractors for asbestos abatement, cabinets, countertops, structural engineering, and kitchen design was top notch, and key to the success of the project's completion ahead of schedule. George should be nominated for sainthood for his patience with nervous clients. Several meetings were held during the planning stage to iron out details. During the project, he communicated daily the status of the work, keeping us well informed of progress and issues. Panorama's crew always arrived early and started on time, working tirelessly and professionally. While supervision was on site daily, the Panorama crew was well trained and worked largely independently. Well, George & his Panorama team have delivered for us once again! We needed a plumber ("shout-out" for Randy!) & an electrician for a couple of jobs in our home. They prepped & protected the surfaces they came in contact with, and cleaned up everything afterward. Most importantly, whatever issue presents itself along the way in the execution of a project, George & his team know what to do about it. We had a toilet replaced and they had to go find a suitable match for the surrounding flooring. You'd think it was an impossible task to match some 30+ year-old flooring, but you wouldn't even know the difference once they were done! They know what a project needs, and they know how do it. We threw a multitude of jobs at George that we couldn't accomplish and he never blinked an eye at any of what we tossed his way. We're not sure it's even possible to stump him! We talked about future projects we have in mind, and George gave us suggestions on how to make our ideas a reality, and we know he has the skill to make them happen. He is generous with his time & talents. As my husband says, when George & Panorama leave, you never feel like you've been "taken" as we have with other contractors. Not only did George answer the phone right away when I called (after being stood up by another contractor), he showed up three hours later (on a Saturday) to discuss our project. George came out to our home to give us an estimate for an emergency bathroom remodel and gave us helpful advice on what led to our issues and made sure that we got better quality items to avoid any issues in the future. George and his crew did a fantastic job to save our powder/bath room damaged by a water leak. They installed new tiles on the floor, repainted the wall, replaced the ceiling fan, and took care of plumbing issues. Now, the powder room looks brand new and very beautiful. They also replaced part of the ceiling of the basement below the powder room that had been damaged by the water leak. The job was also impeccable, and we don't see which part was replaced at all. Not only the actual jobs but also all the procedures went very smoothly, including setting an appointment for a quote, discussing various options in the project, accommodating our requests in the contract, and taking care of our new requests during the project. They even took care of some of our additional requests during the project without any charges. We have a number of home improvement projects in mind. After this excellent experience, we have decided to continue asking George and his crew to undertake them. read more

My wife and I purchased a craftsman style house in Arlington and it was in serious need of a gut-job. After much searching we found George at Panorama and it was one of the best decisions that we have made in regards to our home purchase. George ran the job from start to finish and it came out perfect. He was 100% responsive and went out of his way to help us (we were out of town and our new appliances needed to be delivered. This was the easiest, most stress-free experience we have had with any contractor in our 15 years of home ownership.
