Physical therapy and speech services are just a couple of the other services they provide. They also have work programs with a life coach for the older students to help,them transition. Countless extracurricular activities for the students as well to include dances, field trips, and other events such as pasta night and St. Patrick's day celebration. IEC is truly an amazing place and the folks who work there are incredible.

The teachers are so sweet and comforting and now she is totally out of her shell. My daughter found it comforting to play with one of the teacher's necklaces when she was having a moment. The teacher made her one that looked just like it and a year later it is still her favorite. They treat all of the kids like they are their own. In addition, she has learned SO much I keep joking around that she will be bored in kindergarten. They do individualize knowledge assessments and lesson plans. The staff are great with communicating to parents throughout the day. The security of the building and the process for drop off/pick up leaves me never worrying about her safety. Very excited my youngest will start this fall!

They are unable to manage even the most basic level of safety for the students. One would think for the amount of money necessary to send a child there far from home, they would have a principle and administration that was competent and vet employees who are adept at actually teaching something, maintain safety, and group the kids in their dorms age and grade appropriately not to mention when a parent needs to speak to them they would speak, act and react professionally.
