I went and they were not able to calibrate my car that visit, so I had to come back. They did provide me an extra amount of insurance reimbursement to come back. However, they just glued the windshield to all of the plastic parts in my car (apparently called 'stuffing a windshield'). Now, that all needs to be replaced. They also just double sided taped my cover inside of the windshield for the lane departure sensor, so it spent a year falling down. I asked them to fix it when I went in for my recalibration, and that was there solution. I will not be going back and now have to get new parts on my car to replace what they glued in. read more

The replacement of the windshield was easy, no problems. My complaint is that the ad I found this company on said they offered up to $300 and there would be no hassles. I called, they told me to file a glass claim and give my insurance company their name and they'd handle the rest. When the tech got to the house, he didn't know he was supposed to give a check (and I was at work and my wife was home and wasn't sure how it worked as we've gotten them mailed to us in the past). When I called the first voicemail wasn't responded to. The second call they did reply to and said it wasn't their policy to send a check later but they'll make an exception (even though it was them that forgot to pay me). When the check arrived it was for $25. I've gotten over $125 in the past using the same auto insurance company and the same vehicle (lots of rocks cracking windshields in AZ). This seems to be the opposite of no hassles. I'll leave it at two stars because the glass seems fine but the rest left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

I needed a new windshield, against my better judgement....chose these guys. Nothing but problems since the installation. Wrong windshield was ordered, now wait another week for the correct windshield. Finally on June 17, 2019 my windshield was replaced. Scratches were made on the molding while the installation was done. After I made several phone calls, and nearly a month later 7-16-19 the new molding still has not been installed. The "office manager" Leticia Garcia, emailed me about the initial complaint in her term called me a liar....why would a "office manager" be handling the situation to begin with. Why not a shop manager, or lead shop person ? All I wanted was a new windshield, nothing more is that too much to ask for. Come on people get it together !!! read more

I've used them in the past, but NEVER again. Made an appointment for Friday - they never showed. Rescheduled for Monday - they never showed. I told them between 10 and 12 on Tuesday. I recently had an insurance replacement done through ProLite. Living in Arizona, I have had my fair share of broken windshields from whatever freeway detritus seems to be flying around. Prolite was able to schedule my replacement within 2 days, they came to my house to install, their installers were actually early (and called, as asked, to give me a heads up they were on the way). The entire process was painless, and I even got a check for a kickback from the insurance. Special shoutout to my installers for actually taking the time to put the dashmat back on-this is actually the only company I have used that has taken the time to do that. My windshield needed replaced and I had contacted a few companies and pro lite made the process easy and fast. They were at my house the next day, it only took 30 min to replace my windshield and once they were finished they handed me a check. I guess that if you have full glass coverage with a zero deductible then some companies offer incentives. This was the only company who paid at time of service where other companies expect you to wait 2 weeks. The only thing that I would change is that they pay in cash instead of check because to cash it costs $8. But they were great read more

These guys were as good as it gets for glass replacement. I had them out for two replacements, and Acura and a BMW. They walked me through the process, stayed online during the conversations with my insurance company, and were on time. My wife called me up all nervous that the windshield cracked in her SUV, and thought that it was going to cost us a lot of money. I knew we had $0 deductible glass coverage, so I wasn't worried. I was however determined to find a glass shop that was reputable, professional, and offering some sort of incentive that I could put to use. So many glass shops offer free hotel stays, and other kinds of garbage as sales incentives, but I was looking for cash rebates or gift cards to somewhere I could use. Luckily I found these guys, who were on-time, professional, clean, and presented me with my refund check ON-THE-SPOT. Read the reviews of other places offering rebates on windshield installs, and you will find that many of them will not pay you until 90+ days AFTER they get paid, which takes up to 30 days on its own. Plus some of the others make you send in the rebate forms etc. Nothing is easier than a check in your hand on the spot, and that's what these guys brought me. My wife had a blast at the mall with her rebate, and the windshield looks as good as new. I found Prolite after an internet search. I chatted online with their rep. He was quick to respond and straight forward. I asked if they were a Progressive 'preferred vendor'. Instead of sidestepping the question he replied honestly and stated they were not. But he assured me they would accept the payment that Progressive provided and my cost would be zero. This was all at about 9 am on a Friday morning. I asked if they could fit me in that day. Like I really thought it would happen! To my surprise they said they would be at my office later in the afternoon. I set my claim up on Progressive and they contacted them shortly after. My claims rep at Progressive joked that the ink wasn't even dry and I was already getting great glass service! About 3:20 pm that day 2 very professional employees showed up and by 3:47 pm my new window was in my vehicle! These people are professional and they kept their word. Nick at Prolite is great! We had to get the windshield and side window replaced on one of our company vehicles, an '89 GMC pickup, and found out it still had the original windshield!! Needless to say, it gave them trouble every inch of the way. They did finally get it done, in a timely manner, even with all the issues, as well as one of the guys busting up his knuckles pretty drastically. Everything went quickly and smoothly with my windshield replacement. I sent a request online, and I got a response in an hour. I was able to get a next day appointment which was helpful given the large crack that was developing. I sat through a quick phone call with my insurance company, and that was it. Two men came to my house the next day well within the time quoted. They got the windshield in, and all I had to do was sign off that I received my rebate check. I chose the prolite auto glass to fix the shattered driver side window glass, I spoke to the CSR and asked for an original auto glass. After all the Insurance inspections.. - The technician arrived with out any proper equipment (Glass was shattered, the technician didn't have any vacuum/proper tools to clean up). He was having air blower and trying to blow the shattered glass struck inside the side door panel... - Then I helped along to clean the shattered glass (provided vacuum cleaner from my home), still it wasn't removed completely. The technician had no clue on cleaning it - After the Installation I noticed that it wasn't replaced by original glass. so spoke to CSR, and she said "other CSR did mistake and didn't make note" and she can't help much and I have to go with the glass whatever they fixed. I've used Pro light auto glass on my 3 windshield replacements. I always dealt with Nick I believe he's the owner. I'd send a few emails and the work was done. This time there was an assortment of issues. First, before they would contact the ins co. and conference me in. This time they told me to do it. NO problem doing it, however, a different experience from previous services. Prolight always handled the details in the past and they're an approved vendor so why wouldn't they call? Second, after canceling the original appt and then confirmed the new appt by phone & email. Three days later someone calls to say we need to set up your appt. I ask why? The lady indicated because we communicate better by phone rather than email. As these events are taking place I'm dealing with multiple people along the way who don't seem to be communicating with each other. I make arrangements by email with one person then someone else calls to repeat the same thing. Clearly, process communication could use some improvement! The new appt was set for 4/24 between 12-4, at 3 I receive a text from installer saying he won't make it until 5. Due to the client was running late. I understand why they want a 4-hour window, however, you risk upsetting or losing every appt that comes after the guy who was late. A better way maybe if someone is late, to first make sure the next appt is ready and if so, make the late client re-schedule since he missed his appt? Rather, than risk being late for every client after the current appt? In my case, I'm sacrificing 5 hours plus install time it ends up being 6 or 7 hours to get a windshield replaced. Regardless, I told the installer no, please have Nick contact me. The next day a lady named Leticia leaves a voice message. Indicating Nick is not in but she can help me. If that were true her voice mail would have included a solution. I followed up with an email to her again saying I received your voice mail, however, I want to speak with Nick to this date they have NOT responded. That tells me either Nick doesn't mind losing business he already had set up or he doesn't know. To lose business this way usually means a review like this one. How many clients will this cost him? It's unfortunate I've noticed a lot of these windshield replacement companies operate this way. When you ask too many questions and they go silent. Could be an opportunity for someone to do better. read more
