My wife and I had a great experience with this car service. We used them to get us to the airport before a long trip, and to get us home after. In both cases the process was easy and comfortable, and they communicated very well. For the start of the trip, they contacted us the night before to modify the pickup time due to the scheduled construction in the Sepulveda Pass - consequently, no stress. On the return, we had both cancelled and late flights which delayed us significantly, but I was able to let them know the new flight info and they were waitng when we walked out of baggage claim. This was my second time using PROLUX Auto Group along with my daughters and two grandsons. We had a 05:00AM pickup, George was at our home at 04:45AM. Once we were all loaded we had a wonderful drive to LAX. We arrived in plenty of time. Upon our return George was waiting for us outside the baggage claim and we left the airport spending zero time waiting. On a separate note, on a previous trip with George my grandson asked for Apple Juice (drinks were provided by George), George did not have any Apple Juice. When George arrived at our home the next trip he remember the requested Apple Juice my grandson requested on their previous trip. My Grandsons think that George is an absolute rock start. Yabadabadoo we love you! We went on an 19 day international trip and we were suppose to be picked up and dropped off by a family member however upon our return, our family member had an emergency and was unable to pick us up at LAX I searched YELP and found Prolux Auto Group. George responded to my request quickly and had the best pricing and Yelp reviews of the three companies that I contacted. Our flight was delayed out of New Zealand however George was still waiting for us at the airport. We texted him that we had our luggage and were walking towards the door. He was outside with his trunk open and he quickly loaded our four heavy bags. The large SUV was very comfortable and it had cell phone chargers, water and mints nicely located in the back seat. We made some small talk with George and he was very personable. When we arrived at our home George took our luggage all the way to the front door which was a nice gesture. Honestly - Very confused by the way this company operates. The voice on the other end of the line, "George", was not particularly warm or welcoming. He sounded like he was very busy (he was) - and therefore maybe he shouldn't be the one answering the phones ... so that he can focus on the more important job of scheduling... and not accidentally put off potential new customers due to a lack of warmth or welcome. When I asked if it was possible for us to go over rates, the response? "Well I'm completely booked for the rest of this month, and I'm just busy scheduling out everything, so now it's not a really good time." While it's lovely that this company is "so busy" they don't need to bother to discuss Business with potential new customers... THIS kind of response is obviously it's what a new customer needs to hear. The customers taking the time to look up a company, read the reviews, and call. Perhaps it might be nice if the owner welcome to them and made them feel respected for taking the time to do so? ;) Perhaps this company will never need to worry about how to actually speak to new customers, but THIS was definitely not it. With they're literally being over 100 car companies out there in Los Angeles, I'd skip this one and move to one that actually sounds happy to welcome your business - even if they ARE "very busy" at the moment. We called Prolux and spoke with George. He knew all about the transportation industry and answered all our questions. We always take the bus to LAX so this was the first time using this type of transportation. Our family of needed help getting to the airport and George got us scheduled and was very easy to book this. We only needed one way, but he did offer a round trip. His driver, Victor, came early to our house and helped us load our suitcases into his Luxurious SUV. He was very polite and knew exactly where to drop us off as the airline terminal moved due to construction as we didn't know. It was good not to have to worry about this part of the trip. Great experience using Prolux. We had a very early departing flight from LAX. George picked us up right at our scheduled time (5:15 am) in a new black SUV, complete with phone charger hookups and water bottles. He was very professional and we got a smooth comfortable ride to the airport. I'm even more impressed with our return - we originally had a return flight arriving on a Saturday at 10:30 pm. Our flight was cancelled and we booked the same flight the next day, which was then delayed by 2+ hours.
