Great new café and market downtown Indy, across the street from the delicious Iozzo's. We headed down early, right around 8:30 on a Sunday and snagged a great front row parking spot. We arrived just in time as after we ordered, the place started to really pick up with attendees from the convention in town. We ordered two iced beverages, sandwiches and a pastry. Everything we had was delicious. I was really impressed with my iced Italian cream cake latte! When I return, I will definitely order the Tuscan sunrise sandwich, which is what my husband ended up having. Service was very traditional Italian (and by that I mean slow!). Honestly, we were not in any hurry and we truly didn't expect it to be a Starbucks in/out type place. However, I could sense frustration from other guests. Breakfast was great. I am counting down the days I can go back here because everything looked SO good in their bakery! The egg and mushroom puff pastry was so good, and the pastry was light and fluffy. The Erice sandwich was a 100/10! We waited for 20 minutes for the focaccia bread because they had just ran out and were so glad we did because it was hot, and fluffy, and the pesto inside was so flavorful! I can't wait to go back! This place is like a trip to a street side haven in florence. I haven't felt so much like I was back in Italy since I left. The sandwich I had (the erice) and was top notch with the star actually being the homemade focaccia. The pastia soup was... fine. I could see if I was not feeling well that it would do the trick thought I wouldn't order it again if that wasn't the case. I can't wait to come back and try more things. read more

The pastries are top notch and feature variety of Italian croissants, muffins, cookies, cream filled pastries. They make their own gelato each day, rotating different two flavors each day. Italian sandwich was very flavorful. Market has variety of house made pastas, pasta sauce from sister restaurant iozzos, wine, meat/cheese, gelato. Service excellent. Have not tried drinks from bar in my two visits yet but bar has solid ambiance. Unique business for indianapolis. Similar set up as Amelia's but with full bar, larger space, pasta as opposed to bread, Italian focus. read more

I live in Oregon and unfortunately, I don't have any coffee shops that serve LavAzzaa coffee from Italy. How lucky to find this place and very close to Lucas Oil Stadium and downtown. Stopped in for a sandwich and coffee on a Saturday around 11:30 am. The place was quiet, allowing for people to focus on work from their laptops or quiet conversations with friends. We ordered a vanilla latte, which was very tasty and the flavor profile was delightful, and the Mortadella and Cefalù sandwiches. Both offered great flavor and were toasted perfectly. I asked for a side of pesto with the Cefalù - I'd come back for the pesto alone, it was so fresh and tasty. We will absolutely be back soon! read more

This is one of the best new restaurants I have been to in Indy! It's closest to an Italian cafe that I've seen for a while. The menu is amazing, the bagel sandwiches are so good (the Tuscan was phenomenal, with high quality meat and great flavorful spreads) and it's finally a place to get a good cup of coffee because the beans are high quality. Super cute inside, but service was great outside! They brought us each thing we ordered so quickly and were so patient. I can't wait to go back for dinner. We will also be coming to purchase the market goods and pastas and sauces!! Highly recommend! read more

Local and great coffee! Super excited to have Pronto in my neighborhood as a walkable coffee option! They have a full bar as well. Will be interesting to see how they develop the combination of coffee shop/bodega/bar. I'm here for it and will be happy to support them going forward! Service was great and very friendly, I'm sure the fresh made in house pasta for sale will be a hit. Would love to see the front develop a bit more for the outside space, not sure how far they can have tables and chairs on the sidewalk but would love to see it expand just a bit. Just ate here for lunch. Place is a fantastic little cafe. Had a sandwich and pistachio muffin. Both were excellent. Staff was super friendly and food was very tasty and fresh. I had several friends tell me about a new restaurant just south of downtown Indy. Every one of my friends said the coffee was extremely good. So I was quite excited to try Pronto. Pronto is a restaurant that seems to break down all old rules of Italian restaurants in Indy. Pronto delivers an excellent bar and service; an Italian market place; a walk up counter food service and a traditional table service. The staff was friendly; polite and knowledgeable. They were also ready to deliver amazing food and drinks. I couldn't help but be impressed just after walking in and interacting with the greeters. My son and I started with espresso martinis, one of my son's favorites. My son claims that this was the best espresso martinis he has had in Indy. This was a first for me and I enjoyed the perfect mixture of espresso and liquor. We both had the Chopped Italian sandwich, a rustic Italian bread filled with premium meats and cheese along with fresh garden vegetables and spices. The sandwich was on another level, instantly becoming a favorite for me. As far as sides, we shared coleslaw and pasta salad. Both side with good proportions and high quality. This was my first meal at Pronto but I will definitely be making frequent trips here. I didn't even mention that Pronto has a breakfast service just as epic as the rest of the menu. They also make exotic specialty drinks that look amazing using unique devices like a thief! I was so impressed by its use I had to ask the bartender what it was as well as the name of the cool drink he made with the device. So many cool things going on in this house that you have to make multiple trips. I'm not sure it gets any better than this, folks. read more

Highly recommend you stop by. We went after work and stayed for dinner. Start with a cocktail or wine as the bartender is very knowledgeable and will prepare something special for you.
