Friendly, helpful service! Delicious food. Relaxed vibe for lunch Thursday. It was cold out, so I ordered a hot rooibos tea. I loved the size of the mug. Our server was awesome and brought me additional hot water. I had the brisket tacos, and they were delicious. My friend ordered the hash, and she was happy with it.

Brunch at Garden Table is full of organic and healthy options. I ordered the Ladies Who Brunch cocktail which was fresh, floral, and fruity. My mom and I savored the Breakfast Sammie with a Chop Chop salad. It was a satisfying experience filled with fresh ingredients.

I had dinner here with some friends and we had a lovely, relaxed evening. I started with the Concert Season cocktail which was delicious. Apple infused bourbon made this a great signature drink. I had the salmon and quinoa entree with was excellent. The salmon was cooked nicely and the quinoa vegetable base and pesto all went together nicely. Service was good and they can easily split checks at the table with contactless payment. Parking is free and easy in the garage next door. Great spot for a relaxing meal.

The service here was fantastic! Our waiter on the patio made sure that we were well taken care of and was quick to offer suggestions when we needed them. I love the fact that inside there is a separate coffee and juice bar that you could order from. I actually didn't know this when I have been to Carmel, I will definitely stop in just for a coffee or juice in the future. The outdoor patio vibes are also great. They have a huge patio and then also more of a bar top that looks out at the Monon. Definitely a great place to grab a drink!

This location is breathtaking, the interior design is beautiful inside and on the patio. There's a good amount of seating for both but fills up quickly. The service was fantastic and everyone was accommodating and very kind. I went with the veggie burrito made into a bowl and it was phenomenal; ingredients taste fresh and very filling where I don't believe is a side is needed. Their avocado toast with egg is also a phenomenal brunch choice. If you love juices- this location has phenomenal options.

Loved my meal at Garden Table. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had the steamed mussels with gluten-free bread instead of focaccia, and it was amazing. The mussels were tender and served in a rich broth: garlic, butter, white wine and parsley. The gluten-free bread was so good I had to double-check it was actually gluten-free, and it was perfect for soaking up the broth. I also had the Chop Chop salad with mixed greens, bacon, sunflower seeds, egg, avocado, tomatoes, pickled red onion, and their housemade ranch. It was fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of crunch and creaminess. Great food, great vibe - I'll definitely be back!

The food is excellent - I have gotten the same thing twice and my husband has too. He enjoys the basic b, but I love the chicken sandwich with potato's as the side. Service is good too, both times we have been. Hardly ever a wait!

I've passed this restaurant a million times between mass ave & Carmel. I always thought it was just a breakfast/brunch spot but it's way more than that. We tried it for dinner & it was beyond delicious. You could tell how fresh the ingredients were in every bite. We tried the pesto pasta, vodka pasta and the street corn dip for appetizers. It was delicious, the service was great as well as the environment. We sat outside and was perfect. I highly recommend. So if you're in the area and need breakfast, lunch or dinner they have everything you need. They even have a little to go were you can get fresh juices or coffee is you're just passing by!

We visit Garden table on different occasions and it never disappoints. The cold pressed juice and the pressed juice flight are the star of the show. Always a good variety and we enjoy trying the flights. Patio dining has a wait over the weekend but it's pretty okay as we get a message when our table is ready and usually there's so much happening in the area that you don't feel like you are bored or not doing anything. Extremely well done place and nice area to hang out before and after

Great juices. Great service. Beautiful environment. Great cocktails for dinner. You have to try both the brunch menu & dinner. They are both delicious. I love anything with the brisket on it.

Cute little drink bar for grab & go coffee & juices

My husband and I arrived around 11am this Sunday morning, and the place was packed. We were quoted a 20 minute wait, so we decided to sit at the bar and grab a beverage while we waited. I ordered the espresso martini (10/10) and hubby got a cup of coffee. He prefers a mild roast, so theirs was a bit strong for his liking. He had to add 2 full servings of the little cups of cream that they provide before he could enjoy it. I'm not sure if they provide refills on the coffee, because he was never offered one. The 20 minute wait turned out to be more like 5 minutes. The gentleman behind the bar hadn't even finished making my drink yet. We were able to take those drinks to the table with us and they were added to our check at the end. The indoor dining space itself is rather small and a bit cramped. If our server was facing us, her behind was on the chair behind her and when she faced away from us to help the table next to us, it was right there in our faces. A guest had to leave their stroller in the foyer between the inside and outside doors. There did appear to be an enclosed patio dining area that was not in use. For our meals, I ordered the Beef Brunch Burger (also available with an Impossible patty) with the egg cooked over medium rather than sunny and without arugula. Arugula and my braces have beef right now (pun intended). That was served with fries and a spicy Sriracha aioli. The burger was cooked medium to medium-well and was very juicy. The egg was slightly underdone, but still good. The bacon, cheese and mayo/aioli were perfect. Overall, the burger was a solid 7.5/10. I had to add salt and pepper. It didn't taste seasoned at all. The fries tasted old, but the dip was good. Hubby ordered the Basic Breakfast (better known as Basic B), but he wasn't too fond of its given name. He got it with bacon, eggs over medium and white toast. He also requested grape jelly which was very delicious and house-made, I believe. He also ordered blueberry "pancakes" from the kids menu, on the side. My man likes his breakfast very simple and straightforward, so their unique take on pancakes was an unpleasant surprise. He barely ate half of one (serving came with two). He didn't eat the bacon and the toast was too hard/crusty. He ate the eggs, but didn't touch the roasted potatoes. He left there just as hungry as he was when he arrived! His words, not mine. I promised to feed him when we got home, which totally defeated the purpose of us eating out. Someone else brought our food out to us and from that point forward we didn't really see much of our server, Merelith. No checking in on us or offering of a box or bill. She was serving the table next to us, however. Ultimately, the gentleman from behind the bar took care of us until we left. We ordered two cold-pressed juices to-go, Neon Nectar & Lush Love. As an avid home juicer, I was not impressed. The Neon Nectar had good flavor, but for $9 each, I wished that it hadn't been so heavily diluted.

Came here on Memorial Day expecting a wait. Were pleasantly surprised we were able to sit right away at the bar. Service was very slow (they were VERY busy) but was friendly and accommodating. Got a juice, blueberry hotcakes, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious, especially the hotcakes. Would definitely head back here for a boozy brunch. Also nice that you can go on a walk before/after on the Monon.

    Chilaquiles!
    Birgitta H.

The perfect spot for Sunday brunch. We enjoyed the outdoor seating. Mimosas were good. We tried a traditional and a pineapple one. Generous pour w not too much juice. My husband had the b&g: huge serving! The one biscuit looked like to giant biscuits and was covered in homemade gravy and topped w an egg. Very tasty and filling. I had the chilaquiles and they were the best I have ever had. Very generous with lots of crispy tortillas, green salsa and roasted chicken as well as pickled onions and a fried egg. So much food we were unable to finish it all. The menus had many interesting items and we hope to be back soon!

Ruined Birthday Celebration & Threatened for Returning Undercooked Food…read more We came to 3UP to celebrate a birthday and left feeling disrespected and completely let down. What should have been a fun evening turned into one of the most unpleasant dining experiences we've had. The food came out undercooked -- not a minor complaint, but a genuine food safety concern. When we flagged it and returned the dishes, instead of an apology or a solution, the kitchen manager showed up and asked us to leave. Apparently, the expectation was that we eat improperly cooked food and say nothing. To make matters worse, Sofia, the shift manager on duty, approached the situation with a smug smile rather than any attempt at empathy or professionalism. When we tried to calmly talk through the issue and find a resolution, she continued pushing us toward the door. It wasn't until the actual manager got involved that the situation was handled -- but only after we agreed to pay for the undercooked food we had returned. We paid for food we couldn't eat just to be allowed to stay. Let that sink in. We are not alone in this experience. A quick look at other reviews shows a pattern of poor service that management has clearly chosen to ignore rather than address. If you're looking for a place where your food is cooked properly and you're treated with basic respect, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. We will not be returning.

They booked the entire top floor for our group of 30, which sounds luxe... until three of us got exiled to what we joked as "the kiddy table". Nothing says "team unity" like banquet-style seating for most of us and a side quest for the chosen few when there was clearly room to extend the table, so the choice felt less "design" and more "but, why though?" Luckily, the food excellent. Family-style apps kept things social, and the broiled goat cheese disappeared faster than corporate budgets in Q4. The caramelized brussels sprouts with feta and pears(?) was absolutely sproutstanding and worth fighting your VP over. My salmon was cooked like it had something to prove: crisp on the outside, buttery within. The mac and cheese sauce ith what tasted like sharp, aged cheddar was doing the lord's work. The mashed potatoes was aggressively average, like a meeting that could've been an email. Eh. The bourbon bread pudding was sticky, rich, and just boozy enough to make you forgive the seating chart Service-wise, they ran a tight ship. *Chef's kiss* A small army of food expeditors kept plates landing with precision and no awkward pauses or hangry-induced hostility. We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.

For that reason, The Goat got in trouble by the city a while back, and was shut down for a time. But then it reopened, and now it seems to be minding its Ps and Qs, for the most part. You will know you're at The Goat when you see a big American flag flapping in the breeze outside of the restaurant. You'll also know you're at The Goat when you spot the Donald Trump beer tap handle at the bar. OK! They must really like the movie "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" here. There really is a place for everyone, and I somehow found myself in this place. But you know what? I got nothing but love (or like, really) for The Goat. My experience was great. The service was excellent. The beer, wine and spirits list was outstanding. The music they were playing was nice (heck yeah to whoever chose to play mid-90s Incubus, Bush and Marcy Playground.) I'm the type of person who goes to a dive-ish bar and orders wine, and the kind people at The Goat didn't even blink, and poured me a nice, generous glass. Fine, two glasses. If you're the kind of person who drinks bourbon, your heart will start beating faster when you step into The Goat. They have an amazing bourbon list. On Wednesdays, they do $12 pours of select bottles, some of which are $100+ per bottle. So, you can try out some top-shelf bourbon at a decent price. Mark your calendar for Wednesdays at The Goat, if you're into bourbon. My visit was just for drinks with a small party, and we didn't try any of the food. But we got a variety of drinks among us, including red wine, beer, straight bourbon and blueberry cider. They have a lot of different types of alcohol to please an adult palate. He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.

My first experience at the restaurant was decent, so I figured we would give it another shot. I recall my first meal being a bone-in pork chop that was overly salted. I'll make my review brief. The restaurant was not too busy but our service was fairly slow, two separate drink orders that were requested never made it to the table, the environment was noisy/music too loud, etc. I decided to go with something very basic for my food order. My thought was, "I'll see how good they are at doing something simple." I got the black and burger cooked to the chef's preferred temperature (medium). My burger came out dry/crumbly/crispy/well done. Yikes. The server did offer to provide a complimentary drink while he asked the chef to prepare another burger (a nice gesture). However, the second burger came out raw (see photo). I'm a medium rare steak guy but this was inedible. The fries were very good. I'm not typically someone who is overly critical of restaurants but for the amount of money you're paying for these meals, the food and service should be excellent. My two experiences were fair and poor. This is very unfortunate because I've visited the sister restaurants (Beholder and Milktooth) many times and have had nothing but great experiences at both. Probably the last time I'll go.
