The food was fine (maybe even a bit better than expected, and higher than the usual airport standard). The ordering system was awful, though, and they don't accept cash (seriously, what kind of business does not accept cash for payments?). Also, the ordering system defaults to an 18% tip (this can be changed), but, at the time of ordering, there has been no service on which to base the tip. I always thought that the difference between a tip and a bribe was that a tip was provided after the service and was based on its quality, whereas a bribe was provided in advance of the service with the expectation that it would improve its quality. Anyway, if they fix the ordering/payment/tipping system, this is a perfectly decent airport restraunt. As it is now, I can't really recommend it. read more

The FREE SALAD that I PAID FOR at PROOF There's no formal wait staff, so I ordered a salad on their iPad. I waited for 15, then 20 min before calling a server over to ask about my salad and she said it was coming. I waited, and waited for 30, then 40 min before I had to leave and decided to cancel my order. You can't cancel it on the iPad so I asked a server at the bar to do it for me. As I was gathering my things, a manager brings me a salad and an apology, explaining that it was THEIR MISTAKE and the SALAD WAS FREE. So I accepted, after all it was free food. Nice, right? Well, when I land I get an email receipt showing I was CHARGED FOR THE SALAD! Poor service and empty promises. I was forced to pay for an over-priced salad that I only had minute to eat. So my husband and I decided to have dinner here forty mins before our flight was departing. Our gate was literally across from the restaurant so we were able to watch once everyone began boarding and also if they made any announcements. Our waitress Rasheena was on point from the moment we sat down till the moment we ran off before we missed our flight. I ordered a personal margarita pie extra crispy and it was pretty good. My husband ordered a medium well burger with fries and got a well done burger with fries that were too crispy. He hated his meal and began having some of mine, I wasn't having it lol. We told our waitress Rasheena and she made all the difference for this restaurant. Immediately she put in a new order and had it out just in time for us to board. We were the second last to board but him enjoying a fresh batch of fries and a medium well burger was worth every moment. This is one of the worst experiences that I have ever had at a restaurant. The waitresses are rude and dismissive. They would engage in an argument with customers, then go behind as a group at the bar and make fun of the customers in Spanish. I ordered food, and didn't receive it after 45 minutes. I inquired about the issue, only to have the waitress walk off and not return for 15mins. I confronted the manager, and he was rude, and didn't want to engage in a conversation at the bar. Totally underwhelmed. I ordered the taleggio cheese and mushroom sandwich. Pictured as warm ,melty cheese oozing from the roll, it actually had a paper thin slice of cheese, some mushrooms on a slightly stale roll that was barely warm. It was $13.50 and had at most $1.50 worth of ingredients. It looks like it used to be an electronic bar since all the tables had outlets that had been taken out..so they must have had people sit there for hours with their stuff plugged in while drinking and eating little. The music was very loud and the waitress was marginally friendly. She tossed the little chocolates they give out at the end of your meal onto my table, over my shoulder from behind me...kinda like "You're Done! Get Moving". The ordering system doesn't work. The staff doesn't pay attention to the customers - they just wait for the orders to come in. So getting something like a glass of water or a refill on a coffee is difficult. You can't place special orders too - such as "bring X on the side". We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast to come out, and it came out wrong. Had to take our drinks in to go cups too because it took them 20 minutes to deliver them. Bit expensive, even for airport food, but at least the food resembles the iPad photos, mostly. Hate pre-tipping food-runners, though (because let's be real; they're not servers if you're interacting with an app to order your meal), with blind faith that your service might be good. Anyway, you can sit up at the spacious bar or plug into one of the tables in the center section. There's plenty of bar seating and an iPad right in front of you, great for solo travelers who don't want to make uncomfortable conversation. Portion size is pretty decent, and food sourcing is commendable, e.g. bread for sandwiches and French toast from Balthazar, Pat LaFrieda burgers, etc.). Not a bad option, but if you go the other direction in the terminal, there are far more interesting choices for breakfast with similar sourcing, like the French restaurant, toward the Jamba Juice and the Auntie Anne's (which serves PRETZEL SAUSAGE EGG SANDWICHES, btw). Stay Away!! I don't normally write reviews, but as a yelp user I feel there needs to be a huge warning about this place. I came in quite hungry and ordered their $17 Cobb salad. (Which looked quite impressive on their menu) About 10 minutes later someone walked in from another part of the airport and gave me a small cold salad. My gate for my flight was right across from this place and I was cutting it close with boarding so the bartender said no problem, I will bring you your to-go order. Nice touch! Sat at the counter next to Hudson Booksellers. The turkey club was very boring and had little flavor even though the bartender recommended it. The bacon had no crisp, just like at a Subway sandwich shop. All sandwiches came with a green salad. The salad arrived with no toppings are salad dressing, just a bunch a dry greens. read more

Smoked turkey salad was watery and ice cold. Turkey was shredded-up "luncheon meat" with no flavor except chemical smoke. Ditto the bacon. Lettuce was sad and tired. Overpriced. Ate less than half of it, and I was hungry. And as others have said, if they have an iPad sitting at your table for you to order on, why not have a plug for charging your own devices? First off, this place sucks. It's worth spending the money on junk food and filling up on that than eating here. The prices are outrageous!!!!! I got a burger and beer, $30.00. My wife got some sort of grilled cheese sandwich and coke for $18. My burger wasn't terrible, but it didn't come with the spicy mayo like it was supposed to and the beer that came with it was some sort of cheap beer. I would of thought that for $30 I would of at least been able to choose what beer I would get. My wife was very unhappy with her meal. Her sandwich was not good at all. The bread was Texas toast which is bland in the first place and they used the heel of the bread for her sandwich. I'm sorry but you should only do that sort of shit at home! Not when you're paying $12 for a sandwich that is already extremely overpriced. Please just do yourself a favor and don't give this restaurant any more money. It is truly awful. read more

We were warned that food orders will take at least 20 min. Since we had lots of time, we ordered a roast beef and Ruben sandwiches. It took 3 iPad readers to take my credit card! 45 minutes later, we still didn't get out food but others who arrived much later did. I inquired about our food and and kitchen manager ran out (to the kitchen?) saying, "Unbelievable!". She came back later but never came to us to apologize or give us an estimate on how much longer. After another 15 min with no food, I went to ask for a refund. They had to call for a manager who can't figure out how to give a credit card refund! I asked for a cash refund since he was having problems to give a credit card refund, but he said they don't operate with cash. 25 min later they had to get another manager to do this refund! 1 hour and 40 minutes after our initial order, we finally got a refund! So this review was on their lack of service rather on food. read more

If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. My girlfriend and I decided to have a drink after a flight delay. There was an open seat (set for a new guest with no drink or jacket), so I sat down and ordered our drinks while she stood behind me. After I ordered, a man came up and told me that it was his seat and that he'd been sitting there all day with his friends. I apologized and explained that I had just ordered and paid for a glass of wine and could not leave yet. He proceeded to berate me for taking that seat and not moving and then asked the bartender for confirmation that he had been sitting there. I apologized again and explained that I couldn't move because I had a glass of wine, which the bartender confirmed. He started berating me and making homophobic comments about my girlfriend while the bartender watched. While I recognize that the behavior of one customer doesn't reflect on the bar, the behavior of the bartender does. I was left angry, hurt, and confused while the bartender stood by.
