I am NOT a fan of Target at ALL!…read more Yesterday, I stopped by this Target around 7:45pm and was looking for some baby clothes/toys that a friend of mine has registered for at this particular store. I looked around to see what I could get for her soon to be born baby girl. Looked around and around and couldn't find anything that really caught my eye and knowing her style, she wouldn't like the items that they had. I was trying to get the attention of someone on the floor, but apparently they were all busy. I had to go and find someone to help me. He said someone will be there shortly. No one came by to help me, I waited for like 10 minutes and walked away. I also wanted to buy a bike for myself. Always wanted to have a bicycle, looked at the prices and they had a great selection of bikes, however, they were expensive. I walked to the register, and out of probably 18 registers, only 5 were open. The line moved quickly though. I ended up buying a gift card and left. They have clothes, electronics, home goods, dishes, glasses, utensils, Starbucks inside, huge section for food/beverages, decor, furniture..(both for home and patio), baby toys, clothes, shoes, detergent, games, sporting goods, accessories, books, magazines, bags/purses, bedding, towels, CD/DVD section and a whole lot more.. If it wasn't for the baby registry, I wouldn't have gone to Target. Have shopped there before, and bought few clothes. Fabric is CHEAP, prices according to the stuff that they sell, is pretty reasonable and affordable. This is a very BIG store. Store was nicely organized and clean.. HUGE parking lot, with 2 clean restrooms for both.. women & men!! Established back in 1902.

Everyone was buying the two that they had for sale. When it was my turn to buy two of them the guy at the register said it was only one per customer. The lady in front of me had bought two and the guy before her bought two was well. They tried to say the lady was with her daughter who was like 9 years old and they counted her as a paying guest. So if I came here with my 4 kids would they have sold me 5 of the squeezy???!!! I don't think so. If policy states only one per guest then the lady should have been sold only one!!! But of course since I'm a minority I wasn't given that special treatment. Target you need to treat every guest the same. This isn't the first time I've been mistreated or ignored at Target!!!

I browsed through the clothing section, and my mom bought a pair of On sneakers. She absolutely loved them and said they were very comfortable. I looked through a lot of clothes, but unfortunately, I didn't find anything I liked that day, so I didn't end up buying anything. Even so, it was a fun and enjoyable shopping time with my mom. cf) The On sneakers normally cost around $200 - $300, so it was great that she was able to get them for about half the price at Nordstrom Rack.

There are so many beautiful models, colors, and quality fabrics to choose from. I especially like the dresses here -- the styles are very trendy and elegant. What I didn't like was the long line at the checkout, although there were already four cashiers working, which helped move things faster. There was also a big line for the fitting rooms. However, the staff handled the situation professionally: they called another employee to help organize people for the fitting rooms while the first employee was busy giving out online orders. I also think the store could really benefit from having self-checkout or express checkout lanes. Some customers have carts full of items, while others are waiting in the same line with only one or two things to buy, which makes the wait feel longer. Overall, I left satisfied with my shopping experience. The prices are above average, so I don't come here very often because of that. But I always check the sale sections, and that's where I usually find beautiful dresses for myself. The store also has a great selection of men's clothing. Overall, a stylish store with a wide variety of options and helpful staff.

When I say tiny, I mean like something close to a perfume that is not too big in size. I was there like 4 days ago and was browsing all the aisles.I noticed how well, neat, organized the store is now; then it was before. A lot of employees on the floor asking questions if we needed any help. Everything was almost 75% off of the original price! Whether it was clothes/shoes, accessories, perfumes, lotions, soaps and/or other household/fashionable items. Brand names and fashionable trends. I really liked this store a lot. Mini version of the actual Nordstrom's that's in the mall. There were at least 3 cashiers working and all very friendly & helpful with the customers. The line was moving pretty fast & I liked that!! It was easy to navigate almost all the aisles. Top notch customer service, store was very clean, plenty of parking shared with a lot of other businesses and take a good look at my purse and the small bottled perfumes that I got under $180.00.(not including tax). Very content and impressed with everything & everyone! Keep up the good work! Will be back again soon.. if & when I am in the area, and/if I need anything else for me, for a gift, or something else.. Hope this store will NOT go out of business!!

The only frustrating part is the sunglasses section: most of the sunglasses are locked or protected, so you have to ask an associate for help every time you want to try a pair. It makes the shopping experience uncomfortable, especially for people with social anxiety, because you feel watched and rushed instead of being able to browse freely.

Disappointed.... Big…read morebox retailers are always looking for ways to reduce overhead. It's a business. The global economic hi jinx that this administration is putting us in makes it hard to pass real savings on to the consumer. Decreasing the ability for staff to service in store guests can not be the answer. Today I was in store and noticed that an item I have been stalking had been marked down. I used the scanner to confirm and it rang up a different price. I walked the entire women's section 2 times. I walked through the 'dressing rooms' that are always closed and used as a storage area twice. There were no sales associates on the floor. I asked a custodial associate about calling someone for help and he kindly let me know that they are not supposed to do that. I walked through the shoes and accessories department and there was not one associate in sight. I tried to look for a mirror to see if I could just make a buying decision without trying the items on. I had to go to the home - mirrors section just to look at the items I was interested in buying. I finally went to the front of the store and saw two people standing watching the registers. I asked one of the individuals for help in ladies, and received a , 'For what?'. I blinked a few times. I think I understood what she was asking, but that was definitely not how you professionally ask that question. After all that the wrong signage was posted. The associate helped me, but I'm not sure if they were happy about it. I ended up having to buy 2 different sizes because I had no way to really determine which size would fit. Now I have to return one of the items. Positive - The Free Assembly / Scoop buyers/designers have leveled up the options in a major way, but who wants to play a guessing game with sizing with a higher price point item. The racks have been fairly full for over a month with these items. Maybe if people could try on items they would purchase more. I'm just waiting for markdowns as this point. Do better Walmart.

I input my credit card into the card reader but the transaction was unable to be located. And then the cashier...just stood there. She didn't say the item wasn't in the store's inventory, didn't say the refund couldn't be processed, didn't send me on my way to wait on another customer...didn't say a thing. I was confused, as I've lost or thrown away receipts before and whatever cashier waited on me would at least offer to give store credit. A part of me wondered how long she would've remained silent had I not said anything but I had other things to do so I asked for store credit. And just like that, she processed my refund. Was that so hard to do? WEIRD.

The DISCOUNT PLACE (aka "98"), Whomever it was who coined…read morethe term "Hole in the wall" could've easily been referring to this tiny general merchandise store hidden deep inside an unkempt mini-strip mall in the heart of Scum Valley. Opps sorry, I meant to say Sun Valley.... The store is difficult to spot from the main street, Sunland Blvd, and is completely invisible from Nettleton, the adjoining street. The best way to visit this local gem is via the alley behind the mall which begins off of Nettleton Street. Park in any of the first 5 parking spaces and the nose of your car will be pointing directly at this bodega. As I said, this place is TINY, maybe 300 to 400 square feet of floor space max! Yet, despite their small size somehow they almost always seem to have the item I need on a shelf waiting for me. For example: A few days ago, following a shopping expedition to Target & CVS, I found that I was still "in need" of a few odd items; an extension telephone cable, a female 2 female coupler, some utility candles, and some butane fuel for a camping stove. Believe it or not they had them all and the best part is: I paid only .98 cents each! (ALMOST everything is at that price point here.) I do have one complaint, which cost them a star, they recently began charging customers .10 for carryout bags. Yes, I can hear some of you thinkin: 'So what dude, lots of stores charge for bags in LA cause its' the law. All the stores are doing it, Duh.' It is a fact that "all" stores seem to be suddenly charging this bag-tax but only a specific few are required to do so. Many, like this shop are exempt but want to charge me anyway, which irritates me. Additionally, stores, such as this one, collect the fee and then give you the type of plastic bag that has been banned from use by the same law which establishes the tax! The law states that a store with sales over 1 mil./yr must provide either paper bags or reusable plastic bags (meaning the bag must be able to be used carry something like 20 lbs. for at least 50- 100 x's). IT SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITS plastic single use bags, PERIOD. Obviously, this is a new pet peeve of mine...so if it is not an issue to you, then uh never-mind. The store is open daily from 8 to 8 and seems to be family owned/operated. Due to the imminent opening of a Dollar Tree store less than a quarter of a mile away this business' days may be numbered. So If you find yourself anywhere in the area and are thinkin of going to the .99 Cent Store to get something...GO TO THE DISCOUNT PLACE and help out a neighbor instead. You'll get a Gold Star for the day if you do! Oh, one last thing...the name is almost misleading, the prices on an item by item basis are the same as elsewhere. I have never found any real bargains there, at least not price-wise. Ciao fer now! D
