I love Propel Cycle! It's one of my favorite indoor cycling spots to go to. I've tried WellBee for indoor cycling before but came to realize that Propel Cycle has friendlier instructors and it's just overall a better vibe here. Indoor cycling is no joke and really intense but the loud music blasting throughout the session and the constant upbeat energy from the instructors definitely motivates you to keep going!! The only one concern that I have about this place is that it's so hard to get a hold of them on the phone. I've tried calling many times to ask a few questions, but can never get through to anyone. Working out has never come naturally to me. It always helps me when there is some type of instructor to keep the motivation up when I am ready to quit. That's why I absolutely love to spin! I began going to Propel Cycle about a week ago. To me, what really makes a studio is the crew that works there. I have had the privilege to take two instructors' classes so far, Dominque and Alli. Both girls are amazing! I can tell that they really love what they do. Both girls know how to push you to your limit and then some, all while keeping you motivated to do the best you can, and they promote to get out of your comfort zone. I absolutely love this style and mentality. They are also very talented at choreography. Dominque has patent pending workout moves that are unique to Propel Cycle. I get a great workout here! This is a newer studio and I cannot wait for them to get their name out and spread what they have going on here. First ride is free, it is a tough workout but very well worth it. read more

NEW YEAR EQUALS NEW HOBBIES! I found this place from a Groupon (9 bucks for unlimited rides) and I'm obsessed with this place. I've only taken 2 classes but I'm impressed based on what I've experienced. The front desk staff is super nice and they are very accommodating to new riders. They will help you set up your bike and give you the run down on what the expect/how the bike works. If you don't have shoes- NBD, they charge 2 bucks but your first ride's shoes are FREE! CLASSES: The classes aren't huge but I personally like it a little smaller because you can get some more attention versus feeling like your lost in a sea of riders. The class holds up to about ~30 people if its full. You do need to reserve your bike in advanced. There are alot of classes to do during the weekdays but only during AM on weekends so check out the schedule before you commit. The teachers are very energetic and are different in their own way, take different teachers so you know who's more your speed. They are CHALLENGING but who tf wants to workout without breaking a sweat. You just need to bring yourself and a water bottle. They have weights and towels provided. Big win: the staff comes in at the end of the ride to give you a lavender cold towel to cool yourself off with, super rewarding after you sweated everything out. AMENITIES: They have lockers that you can use during your ride. They also have earplugs (big plus for me because not trying to kill my hearing in my early 20s), hair ties, socks (up for purchase), water cooler, and CLEAN restrooms. Definitely check this place out if you are thinking about trying cycling. The first class is free with free shoes! Wow, indoor cycling classes have seriously evolved since I took spin classes many moons ago. I never used cleats during a spin class before! I had no idea that spin classes have evolved. Cleats are available to rent for $2, or bring your own if you have compatible cleatss The workout is challenging- but don't let it discourage you. You will hear the fat screaming off your body as it melts away. (Or maybe that was me screaming trying to push through the workout LOL) Just stick with it! The staff is probably one of the best I've ever dealt with at any type of gym. They're very supportive and upbeat, and they put themselves out there to motivate you to be your very best. read more

I LOVE the Propel God and Kayle is the best Propel Preacher! - you have to take Kayle's class to understand what I mean lol. I LOVE it here, I LOVE how the instructors and the girls upfront all learn your name and GREET you BY YOUR NAME every single time I walk in! Classes are KILLERS and the instructors will ENCOURAGE and PUSH you to your MAX. The rest of the riders surrounding you will CHEER you on! Special shout outs to Jada and Kayle who usually teach the 9am classes- they're both so wonderful. Don't feel apprehensive when you walk in- you'll be greeted warmly and at least 1 or 2 people will assist you with setting up your bike! I walk out of every single class SMILING so hard my face hurts, with my head ringing from such an intense HIGH that only PROPEL has ever been able to bring out! read more

This studio is amazing and I want to keep it my little secret but, alas, they deserve all the success and praise! I started w the $9 unlimited monthly Groupon ( yes, $9!) and am now a member. The bikes are top notch (Kasier bikes) and they offer everything ( $2 shoes rentals, towel and cool towel @ the end of your ride). I use to be a corepower sculpt junkie but I wanted to get in shape again & the monthly for yoga studios was outrageous! The amazing thing about Propel/Cycling is that I can go 3 times a week and see RESULTS where as w other forms of exercise I would need to go every day or even double. However, as any fitness class enthusiast knows, a studio is only as good as instructors and Propel has it in spades! They are so motivating and don't sugar coat it! I've taken Dom, Alli and Jada...they all have their own strengths and offer amazing workouts! Dom will amaze you, Alli's propel & sculpt will push you and Jada will keep you going! I've also heard great things about the other instructors! If you want to change your body, give this studio a try! You will be overwhelmed the first time but, after a month, you might not even recognize what your capable of! read more

I have been going to propel consistently for the last three months, and I have never felt better about myself. The coaches here are amazing and uplifting. Even at the beginning when I first started, all of the staff was supportive and encouraging. The affirmation and praise flows heavy here, and I love it. I have never felt a true connection to any gym or class that I've been to before and this studio gives me that sense of belonging. Also, the Domdoll sports bras are insanely comfortable. I signed up with a Groupon deal. The instructors are all great and I enjoyed my time there but the real issue I have is after the one month period ends and I emailed to cancel as I would not be extending my membership due to moving 5 hours up north. I emailed them right away when I saw a charge for $79 on my account since they request to have your debit card on file to activate the Groupon. They never responded to my email request to reverse the charge and I had to reach out to my bank to dispute the charge. They still email me every month with a charge although I have cancelled my old card so they can't put further fraudulent charges but I would not recommend going here due to these reasons read more

Let me start this with I'm not a gym person. If and when I go to the gym I sure as hell never did classes! I'd lift weights and do cardio, never even considered a group class. A great friend of mine talked me into giving this a shot. She's lost weight gotten tone and made huge gains and improvements. First class was free. Nothing to lose right? Seemed worth it. This place is AMAZEBALLS!!! Fantastic studio, super clean, crazy friendly staff, welcoming environment. I find myself going to classes I really didn't want to go to...just to see Dom. She is insane! She is without a doubt the most positive, supportive, inspirational person I've ever met. She has this power and when you're near her she lets you hold that power, if only for that 45-minute class. Once you've held that power, you crave it. She's incredible! I'm a better human being, a much better version of ME for knowing her! I've actually cried a little in class both because it's an amazing push with all you got kind of work out but also, she reminded me I'm worth it! I went to a Propel Cycle class yesterday and I wish I lived in Huntington Beach so I could go back again and again! I'm not gonna lie: Kayle's 6am class kicked my ass. But from the moment I walked in the door, it was a great experience from start to finish. The studio is bright and clean with lockers, shoe rental, beverages and gear for purchase, and 30ish bikes. Kayle immediately welcomed me with a smile and helped me get set up on my bike (disclaimer: this was only my second spin class!) The other cyclists welcomed me with enthusiasm and cheered me and each other on a lot throughout the ride - how nice is that?! (Definitely not something you'll see at a Soulcycle class...) Kayle was so positive, motivating and pushed me to work hard while respecting my limits as a new rider. When the ride is finished everyone gets cold towels with essential oils that smell great and help cool you down fast. I left with the hugest smile on my face, both because I had been challenged to the max and because Propel felt like a community. I got the sense that classes are truly for everyone - newer riders, experienced riders, people with or without perfect bodies, and people who feel like they don't belong in a cliquey studio atmosphere. For someone who never and I mean never works out this place sure kicked me! But in a positive way to where it made me want to come back! The trainers are amazing the staff is amazing and the energy is through the roof! Each time going it's always a new experience which is always a positive . I've been to pretty much all the spin studios in OC and this one really stood out to me because everybody was so friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything to me and I did not feel rushed to hurry up and clip into a bike before the class started, which often happens in other studios. The class itself can be as easy or hard as you want it to be; the instructor was good at pushing you but also reminding you to take it at your own pace. It's the longest and the shortest 45 minutes of your life lol. They're still a pretty new studio. They currently have $69/month unlimited classes going on for the month of March I believe. You get one free class so what do you have to lose? read more

This company stole $600 from me! DO NOT provide your credit card for the rental shoe fee because you may be stuck with months of unwanted charges! I tried Propel back in June, 2021 with a friend. The manager (Dom) informed me that I could try the class and recommended I use their shoes for a $2 fee. No problem, I handed over my credit card... big mistake! The following month I received charges on my account for $99 and serval months after that (never attending during these months). When I called to dispute these charges they said I had signed up for some groupon deal.... Nope not me. I would have had to of bought a groupon deal and redeemed it right? Never happened. Not sure if they confused me for another girl or if it's a scam. I've been calling, emailing, texting and showing up to the business (have yet to speak to Dom "the owner/manager"). I have explained to several Propel staff that I did not sign up for propel nor requested to join and to please refund me the 6 monthly charges. I have not used or attended propels services since trying it out (in June). I finally received 1 refund of the 6 charges! I have been trying to get refund for the 5 remaining monthly charges... No response. This is not how you a run business. This is straight up stealing. read more

I love cycling with Dominque and appreciate and admire her passion for inspiring and motivating others. I've never liked cycling with anyone besides Dominque, but she has been so great at selecting her instructors! Kayle, Alli, and Alyssa are incredible who also share Dominque's passion for motivating others. Propel is such a special place due to its welcoming, friendly, helpful, and judgment free atmosphere. Everyone at propel is genuine and always has a smile on their face. Their challenging classes always start on time and the customer service is impeccable! I had a small billing hiccup, but Dom was prompt and quick to fix it which is rare and for that I am extremely grateful. I'm so happy and thankful to be a part of propel, and double excited about the new eucalyptus towels provided after the intense ride! They even offer theme rides to mix it up! Propel cycle is by far the best spin studio in town! The instructors push you harder than you thought was possible, the equipment is state of the art and the studio itself is sleek and modern. The stereo system is absolutely bumpin'. They provide a range of different weights, lockers, sweat towels and a cool off towel. If you don't own cycling clip in shoes they have bikes with straps so you can wear your normal shoes or you can rent a pair of cycling shoes for only 2$!!! I love spinning here! The front desk staff members are all really sweet and friendly, as are all of the instructors. They push us, in a good way, and are all very positive. You may feel like you are dying after a workout but you will definitely get results fast. I gotta give credit where credit is due! This place is honestly AMAZING. I started back in November for the first time through a friend and became obsessed over since! I recently cancelled because I can't afford it at the moment but if anybody is considering trying out the classes, you won't regret it I promise! The workouts are intense but sooo worth it, the staff is so friendly and the music is always bomb! I've definitely noticed a difference in my body in the last 3 months. My favorite instructor is Kelsey but I know all the trainers are amazing as well! It was a struggle for me to find a way to be active and when i had my first class at propel i was hooked for life. Everyone who works there is welcoming and very motivating. There are a lot of indoor cycling options out there, but there are none that compare to Propel. The bikes make it easy to see your resistance levels (they use levers rather than knobs) so you know exactly what work you're putting in... and they definitely make you work!! The instructors--I've rode with Dom and Alli so far--push you to do your best and are super motivating. I walk out feeling better physically and emotionally. They offer a nice variety of times, have great specials, super friendly/caring employees and cool, scented towels to look forward to at the end of the ride. I've only been to 3 classes, and it's such a fun workout. Sunday sculpting with Allie is so fun!!!! Allie really works ya! Shes also the best DJ ever! Another review about them charging my credit card without my permission for an unlimited membership that I did not sign up for. The Groupon was cheap for them and there is a reason why. Propel was the best gift I received from a dear workmate last year. I love cycling but lost touch with my fitness and settled on my plateau. That is until I was introduced to this supportive fitness family. All of the instructors have their own unique style and motivating energy. Dom and Kayle have challenged and motivated me to push harder and Alli's classes have also been very therapeutic for me. This has been a great outlet as well as a productive workout. My girlfriend and I bought a really good Groupon deal for this place as we both have always wanted to try cycling, but have always been too intimidated. When we arrived, the music and vibes were pretty loud, but that is too be expected with a fun indoor cycling space. We spoke to Hannah at the desk and she was very welcoming and informative. She gave us the run down and helped us with our shoes and bikes. Our first class was so fun and energetic, that I felt like I got a more intense workout done in 45 minutes than I would have got in an hour at the gym. This place has become my second home/family! After a long day at work, I don't want to think about my workout and I don't have to here! I get a full body workout in every class and after about 8 months working out here I'm in the best shape I've ever been in. These workouts are no joke, but they have a way of going by so quickly that you don't even know what hit you! Every instructor pushes you and is unique providing a good mix of styles. I have to give a special shout out to Dom. There are only a few people in my life that have the impact Dom has and it's just one of those things you're born with. Recently have tried various spin cycling companies and each have their pros and cons. Overall, Propel Cycle in my opinion is the most welcoming, pushes you to your limits, and yet at the same time doesn't break the bank financially. I enjoy that this space is a non-judgmental zone where the instructors encourage you to do your best at all times but you don't feel extreme pressure that makes you resent working out, instead you become competitive with yourself.
