Absolutely terrible repairs. Charged almost the cost to replace the roof. The area between my patio cover and roof continues to leak, which is causing my electrical problems. My electrician had to alert me to the fact. I was told by the owner they will fix the issue but I'm only allowed 2 follow-ups without charge. After which he will charge another fee. Had to find a competant 'professional' to do a repair on my roof until I could get some other priorities in order. Roof It Right answered the call. There have been six 'major' wind storms since they accomplished that repair, and the quality of their workmanship was a solid five stars. Cost was more than reasonable and well worth it. First, Jennifer, his office staff, is great! But, Jim, the owner, does not deserve her. She can do so much better than working for such a rude, nasty, man. I was awaken with a reminder call that Jim was expected between Noon and 2 PM. This was at 9:15 this morning. As I was about to get in the shower at 10 AM, I heard footsteps on my roof. Looked outside. And, there was the Roof it Right Truck. I called Jennifer and asked what was going o as he wasn't due for at least two hours. She was shocked but stayed on the open hardline phone as he called me on my mobile phone. He was curt. rude. He told me that he left the quote on my outside table. But, would not allow me get a word in. Then, went on to blame Biden for his ridiculously high rates -- a price that was beyond outrageous. I could buy a whole house for what he charged me! Then, he literally hung up on me. I was still on the hardline with his office, who had heard the entire conversation, when I went out to the table to retrieve his quote. And, guess what... he was walking off my patio tucking his quote in his shirt pocket! HE WALKED AWAY WITH HIS B.S. QUOTE!!! Then, got in his truck and drove away taking "my" quote with him! Contacted roof it right to roof area over garage.l had drywalled ceiling and wanted to make sure it would not leak. 2 years later it leaked. They came out again and fixed it with all apologies. 2 years later it leaked.i had said to the owner it looks like you roofed it wrong. 3 years later it leaked again with lots of drywall damage from previous leaks They refuse to fix said I was an ass for being pissed about the shoddy work. Roof it Right is an excellent choice if you need some work done. We've actually used them twice - once when we first moved into our home to repair some more extensive damage (I don't think anyone who owned the home before us ever had it looked at) and again more recently since a few tiles had been shattered when we had our house painted. Honestly, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a safe roof that is going to last. We just wanted a couple tiles replaced, but Jim also had his guys seal hairline cracks and re-prime our flashings to ensure our roof is in good shape. Plus their work comes with a two year warranty on workmanship. Both times Jim and his crew were professional, fast and efficient. We are one of the largest multifamily owners in the nation, and have our own management, remodeling, and general contractor departments. We recently purchased 3 communities in the Las Vegas area. These apartments are in need of minor roof repair, and have already been inspected. I called Roof It Right a few weeks ago for an estimate. Today I returned Jim's call and this was our conversation: Hello Jim, this is rachel with __, I'm returning your call about the apartment homes that we needed to have repairs done. Hello, thanks for calling back, sorry we've been so busy with the windstorms. So, I'm confused, I have 3 addresses down for you. Why are there 3 addresses? Well, 3 addresses is correct, we have 3 apartment communities. Those three communities have tile roofs, and are in need of tile replacement, and a few resealed penetrations. We would like to have you out for bid if you're interested. Yes, can you send all this information to my email, my email address is ___. Ok. Great, how soon do you think you'll be able to come out. Well, I don't get to sit around on my pretty ass all day like you, I actually have to get up on a roof and do real work, so it's going to be at least a couple weeks because I just don't have time. Well, I don't just sit around all day, but if the soonest you can come out is a couple of weeks, we will make it work. How soon after coming out for a bid would you be able to provide a price. Well - see - here's the thing. I'm not interested in working for free, and your not some little old lady I want to help out. You probably have some tiny ass house and it's just not worth my time to come out there unless you're going to pay me for a bid. Sir the bid would be for the 3 apartment communities that we own, each has close to 10 buildings. We already have inspected the roof ourselves, we are just looking to subcontract the work out. His crew, Jaime, Eddie, Tom and Jeff did a real good job stripping off the two layers of shingle and took great care not to damage anything and did a great job cleaning up every day.
