They were indeed spicy hot, but I was disappointed that the heat came from being sprinkled with chili power which resulted in a very uneven result. Some bites were overly hot and others were blah. All of our chicken was greasy. (Yes, I know it is fried chicken but our's seemed like the oil wasn't hot enough so the batter absorbed a lot of oil.) Beyond the grease, the chicken was incredibly salty. As it turns out, one tender has 50% of what should be your day's intake of sodium. The service was fine. We received our food in an acceptable amount of time. I'm not sure what they were going for in the dining area. It was kind of institutionalized graffiti. Now that I've been there once, I never have to go back.

Pick up times can be a hit or miss. There were times when I arrived per the estimated pick up time but still need to wait an extra 5-10 mins. The spicy chicken teriyaki is my favorite. It is surprisingly pretty spicy, which I love! The side of veggies help tone down the flavors. I've also tried the spicy tofu and it's pretty good as well. They make the tofu pretty crispy. I normally order a regular, which is more than enough for me. The large can definitely feed two people.

Today I decided to stop in to give Teriyaki Madness a try and was greeted by Rafaella (I hope I spelled that correctly) as I was browsing a handheld menu at the front counter. Rafaella clearly noticed I was lost and asked if it was my first time here and guided me through the menu. I ordered the large size bowl and chose beef and chicken teriyaki as my protein options, along with white rice and stir fry vegetables to go. I sat down and not even 4 minutes later, Rafaella brought me over my food and I was out the door. The total was $20.53 which isn't too bad considering I'm eating a fairly healthy meal. The taste and quality was great and I'll happily admit that I'd rather spend my money here over another large fast food franchise that does teriyaki bowls in the area. The foods great, tons of seating and there is a soft drink station for refills. I'll definitely be back.

The only thing I was disappointed by that don't mix the unsweetened tea and lemonade as a gallon at this location (I've seen the other location on the app does). I didn't ask, other then that still like their nuggets and the peach shake still amazing, will get it a couple of times in the summer. My new fave is getting the jugs of sweet tea and don't have to drive far to Raising Kanes to get it.

It's nostalgic and satisfying. I've passed by this place probably hundreds of times and I never once considered going in and trying their food. I have never liked fast food fried chicken. Ever. Today my mom and I peeked in here randomly and she immediately jumped on ordering the BLT on rye (which she loved!). I ordered the gyro and fries but the owner misheard me and I instead got what tasted like homemade potato chips. They were not the slightest bit greasy warm out of the oven and some were a little soft and others were very crispy so it tasted homemade. I needed salt/pepper and then they were perfect. Although my gyro didn't have a lot of meat, the lettuce and veggies on top were abundant and super fresh! I ate it with a fork like a salad, light on the meat. With the yummy light dressing it came with, it was the perfect dinner for me tonight. I feel sated and that it was pretty healthy. They also had a bunch of traditional sandwiches on their menu like a Philly cheeseteak, jalapeño and avocado burger, fish and chips, etc. So, now that I've broken the seal and realize you don't have to get fried chicken when you come here, I will be trying all the above over the next few months whenever I get that diner food itch.
