I stopped by the Grand Opening of Pros & Cones and it was such a cute ice cream store. It's located right off the Metro North station and super convenient to access. They have a variety of classic and fun flavors (earl gray, tiramisu, etc.) but my favorite was the ricotta cream cheese with fig! It was reminiscent of one of my favorite charcuterie combos :) The staff was incredibly nice and patient as I sampled a bunch of the flavors. There's also seating inside so this could be a great date or hangout spot. I really recommend that you stop by and check them out!!! read more

The ice cream lacks flavor. It also has a lot of ice crystals in the ice cream. It's very expensive, more than the other nearby ice cream shops. It's advertised as super premium, but I had better premium options from the supermarket. I would not return and would not recommend it. read more

I wanted to love the new ice cream shop on Mamaroneck Ave, Pros & Cones, but with such fierce competition within a three-block radius you've got to come with your -Game and sadly they did not. Inside the shop is really cute. The neon ice cream light on the wall adds a fun touch. They have a few tables inside, and two benches outside creating a welcoming atmosphere. The people behind the counter were friendly and generous with the free taste samples. As a self-described ice cream guru, hence ice cream is my favorite meal, I have to say the ice cream was not like other small-batch flavors I've tried in the past. The ice cream was not creamy, the texture tasted over-churned. The ice cream was also very soft for scooped ice cream. Now for the flavors - Cosmic Brownie which was vanilla ice cream with fudge brownies swirled in albeit the brownie was somewhat scarce the few bites I did have were good. Butter Pecan - a little too sweet for me, the candied pecans were the highlight of the ice cream. The waffle cone the butter pecan was served on was the star of the show today! read more

Went to the grand opening today!! Super excited. Been waiting a while for this place to open. The decor and ice cream are both incredible. Lev (the owner) has been thoughtfully working on this place for years to make sure customers have the best experience possible. One of the best people you'll ever meet! He tried to control the temperature as much as possible when foot traffic was high to keep the ice cream cold and customer happy. Also service staff at the counter thanked each and every person for stopping by. Would 10/10 bringing friends and family here. Perfect treat for kids after school or after soccer practice! I came here on my way home and it happened to be their grand opening! The ice cream was incredible and you could taste how fresh it was, with no artificial flavoring. My favorite flavor was ricotta cream cheese with fig. I also got a Oreo milkshake which was the perfect texture. I had the fig ricotta cheesecake , strawberry cheesecake and the lady suggested cookie dough. Usually I am not a fan of that flavor. But it was amazing, not overpowering with the cookie dough.
