Take my advice. Stay away from this business. Unprofessional and negligent. On August 1, 2024 I placed an order of 1145.04 sqft of Gold Coast 12 Prestige Express: Heirloom for a total cost of $2,590.56 with ProSource located at 5350 Airport Freeway Fort Worth, TX 76117. On August 8, 2024 I picked up the carpet rolls that were delivered to ProSource at this location in Fort Worth. On the following day, August 9, the installers proceeded to unroll and install the carpet. Upon doing so, we discovered there were stains on a 11.5' x 12.5' portion of the carpet. I have attached photographs of these stains. I immediately contacted Ms. Brenda Schrepper-Recinos at ProSource, at 11:58 AM CST, to notify her. I explained that I needed to be reimbursed for this portion of the carpet, ~$300.00, because it was damaged and defective. She responded with informing me that I would need to go through a claims process and inspection which could take a an undisclosed amount of time and the outcome would be based on their claims decision. My problem was that I needed to install that carpet that very day. I had already planned to do so which is why I ordered the carpet so far in advance. I could not delay the project. I also explained that I was a customer of ProSource and that I should be advanced my refund as the carpet was damaged through no fault of my own. Ms. Recinos kept insisting that this was their process. I wouldn't be able to accommodate this option as the deadline for me to install this carpet was August 9. I was expecting a quality product to be delivered to me. I informed Ms. Recinos that if they could replace that portion of the carpet early that very day, I could possibly consider that as an alternative option. However, I made very clear that it was urgent because I needed to make a decision on whether or not I would install the carpet and have to credit my customer, or try to replace the carpet if I heard back early enough. She assured me she would call me back in a "few minutes" as she needed to contact her managers who were on lunch break. I did not hear back from the manager, Mr. Shane Scarborough , until after 3PM on August 9th, via email, in which he requested I drive to their location and return the defective carpet so that they could give it to their supplier and receive their refund and in turn refund me. Utterly unprofessional. Being that it was so late in the work day, by this time I had made the executive decision to install the defective stained carpet in a closet. The stains are still visible and I am now having to credit my customer for the damage, that I was not responsible for. I'm not even requesting a full refund for the entire purchase of the order which would be $2,590.56 . I'm was only requesting I be refunded for the portion of the carpet that was damaged, which comes out to $2.09/square foot, totaling around $300.00. I responded to Mr. Scarborough's email at 3:29 PM CST on August 9th, and explained that I could not return the damaged carpet as I had to make the executive decision to install it "as - is", considering I had a deadline. Additionally, I could also not release my carpet installers and have them return another day, as this would also have incurred additional cost for me. I then proceeded with requesting my refund again and reminded Mr.Scarborough that my business transaction was with ProSource and not their supplier. I explained that is not my concern what they must do with their supplier and that I should be refunded for them giving me a defective product, as I now have to credit my customer. I never heard back from them. Today is September 4, 2024. ProSource has not demonstrated good will or good faith, but rather negligence and total disregard. I have emailed them again and attempted to call them and they are not answering my calls or responding to my emails. I am very disappointed with how they are conducting themselves. I will not be doing any more business with ProSource. I have filed a dispute with my bank institution in the amount of $300.00. I will be filing a complaint with the State Attorney General and the BBB. read more

I recently visited Prosource on the recommendation of my contractor to meet with Teri Ehrhart, an account manager, for assistance in selecting hardwood flooring for my upstairs remodel. I already have hardwood floors downstairs and wanted a different pattern for upstairs that would still complement the existing flooring. Teri was very accommodating in scheduling our appointment, asking me to provide a time so she could plan her day around it. We agreed on September 3rd at 1:30 PM. I drove nearly 25 minutes to Prosource and arrived on time. Upon arrival, a gentleman directed me to Teri's desk. I introduced myself, but before I could explain my needs, Teri informed me she was waiting for another client who had just arrived. She pointed me to three rows of hardwood samples and said she would join me shortly. I found this a bit odd and somewhat disrespectful, as we had agreed on the appointment time, and I had arrived before the other client. Nonetheless, out of respect for my contractor, I began browsing the samples. After a few minutes, someone else approached me, stating she worked with Teri and would be helping me instead. Her suggestion was to replace my entire downstairs hardwood floor to match the upstairs, which was not what I was looking for and quite honestly, cannot be considered a solution. Throughout my visit, Teri did not check in on me or offer any assistance. I left the store feeling disrespected and ignored as a customer. I will not be returning to Prosource and will seek other options in the DFW area where I can find what I need without feeling that my time has been wasted. read more

Every interaction I've had with the people who work there has been very positive. I spoke to a guy in customer service (I think his name might have been Graham?). He knew what he was talking about and he got stuff done, very efficient. I've worked strictly with the kitchen and bathroom department. Bruce is the manager that heads it up. He was an absolute pleasure. Always upbeat and positive, just one of those guys that is super friendly and always has a smile on his face. He truly wants to take good care of his customers and make them happy. If you are looking to remodel your bathroom ask for him! They have a large selection of flooring at decent prices, which seem to be negotiable. However, I ordered over 2000 square feet of flooring - some boxes arrived late, damaged, and from different lots. Therefore, I received broken flooring that cannot be used and different coloring from each lot. Once I found the flooring I liked, they recommend a few people to do the job for you. All three people they recommended turned out to be a bust and I ended having to take my broken/different colored flooring to another company to install. Upon installation, the installer noticed several pieces from each box were not "clicking" into place and determined it was a faulty product. I contacted Prosource (and the flooring manufacturer) about the defect and I still have not heard back from them about my flooring claim. I had to choice but to move forward with the installation of a poor product they sold me. They did accept my extra flooring as a return but sadly would not take the unused/extra baseboards. Overall, I would not recommend going there. Finding the right flooring and installer for your project can be very stressful and ProSource did nothing but add stress to the ENTIRE process. read more

Let me save you a couple hundred dollars, and tons of headaches, and stir you away from this mess of a company. I was working through American Water Damage to remove some cabinets in my kitchen that had gotten mold on them, and they went through ProSource for the countertops. I was better off finishing this job myself. The workmanship of the crew they used, and the absolute irresponsibility of the office members was unbelievable. DO NOT work with them, if you're going through a third party, like I was, make sure you ask if they're getting backsplash or granite from here, and stir clear. I had to replace my entire backsplash because of the "work" of their crew, and they weren't even there for the backsplash. If you absolutely can not avoid working through them, make sure you are there when the installation happens. Do not put your trust in them. It will save you SO much money, because if you do end up having to contract someone to come and repair the mess they leave behind - a mess you will have to come and find because they will not tell you a word of it - good luck getting them to reimburse you for the crap they call workmanship. It is unbelievable to me that a company that installs backsplash and countertops did the work they did. And all they would say was that I authorized it. No one authorizes for their kitchen to be destroyed, this wasn't demo work. This project has been ongoing since February, and these countertops have been in back order for months. All this time waiting without a kitchen to have them hack up my backsplash, and have me replace the whole thing, and on top of that not take responsibility for the terrible work they did. I, an electrician, have the tools to cut the backsplash the way it should have been. Instead of just taking a hammer to the kitchen, they, a BACKSPLASH/COUTERTOP company, should've told me, the ELECTRICIAN, to cut the tile that they were somehow not equipped to cut. That house is vacant, no one would've complained about noise, or dust. So, here I am, livid, and telling you to avoid the headache this excuse of a company will cause you. This job was more than $10,000. Some care should've been taken to do this properly, but none was, and they didn't even take responsibility for it. I am also 100% sure the granite they finally installed is not the one I ordered because the colours and underlying tones of the picture I have and the one that arrived are COMPLETELY different. The pictures were taken with an S22 Ultra, so the picture quality is not the issue. But there is no way of proving that unless I get a hold of their orders, and I highly doubt that'll happen. So, just avoid this company altogether, find yourself a more reliable, and trustworthy supplier. read more

No one wants a warranty claim; I had a warranty claim. It took a few months, but they totally handled it. They dealt with the manufacturer resolved my situation without added negative energy. Mike was my main contact person, and he deserves a big pay increase for being kind and responsible with excellent people skills. Because of the professionalism, I have used them again. I actually wish I could give the Fort Worth ProSource zero stars, because our experience has been one big foul-up, and we still don't have our wood floors, which we purchased on April 16 and were supposed to have been here on Thursday, April 19. Today is April 24, and we still have no wood floors. The guy who sold us our flooring has been MIA, as we've tried to get our flooring. We were told on April 23 that our floors would be here on the 24th. Called the morning of the 24th and were assured that a courier had just picked up our flooring, and our order would be delivered to our home within 2 hours. Another lie. Then I found an email from ProSource, which had been sent an hour AFTER our floors were supposed to have left their warehouse, stating that our flooring was in and ready for pickup. Yep, that's right. Our floors had NEVER been picked up by their courier. So my husband called and said he'd pick up the flooring, because we sure as heck don't trust them to deliver, but he asked the so-called customer service guy to physically check that our flooring was there. The ProSource guy named Bryan actually asked my husband, "Oh, you wanna go there?" Uh, yeah, we're going there, because ProSource has done nothing but lie to us from the moment they took our money. In fact, the only thing they've done with any semblance of efficiency is take our money--and then they were ugly to us for calling them on their multiple failures. To say that I'm furious is putting it mildly. To the potential customer, RUN, don't walk, away from ProSource. I will warn all my friends about this company. read more

As a contractor one would think I would get calls returned, price quotes in a timely manner and material arrival when promised. NOT SO. I guess these guys have so much business they can ignore smaller contractors. Complaining in person gets you nothing you really are just kind of at their mercy.
