Ice cream...bakery, barber, Tesla chargers ... A host of restaurants and small business shops are all around and there's a picnicky central area with turf and corn hole too. I could be here all day and all night, especially to catch a lovely sunset with a beer in hand with the massive fireplace in the middle of it all. Absolutely loved this place and will be back one day some day soon!

I also think it has a lot of potential, but it's kore catered to adults without children. Especially the night life. Most of it is date night feels. Which is good for those special occasions, just cuz and such. Awesome part is they do events as well like little markets, christmas, etc. So that's fun We went trick or treating as well. So they make-up yhe family activities this way. They have a wide variety of food and drink options here. Again, though, it's not a place to spend time on the colder evenings. Most daytime activities. Either way check them out and look at the calendars for any fun future activities. Place is amazing and very unique to the reno area. Something we have needed to livin up the growing reno culture. Don't get my rating wrong I love going here. But it can definitely more. What is missing. Not quiet sure yet. I'll update once I realize it.

We meet for a wide variety of hikes around Reno, Lake Tahoe, the Sierra, and other places near and not-so-near. In addition, we camp, mountain/road bike, rock climb, ski, road trip, volunteer, and get together for social functions. As our group continues to grow, the scope of activities will expand. When we ask members why they joined the group, the answer given often is, "I love hiking, but my friends don't, and I don't want to go alone." Now we don't have to. We have hundreds of members who are all anxious to hit the trail, get outside, commune with nature, or just hang out with other group members who share this common interest. Not all of our outings are fit for everyone. Some are kid and dog friendly. Many are more difficult. Some are only for the most fit, such as peaking many of the peaks in the Sierra. It's up to you to know your limits and choose the events that are right for you. Whether it's a picnic and barbecue, a campout at a scenic location, or one of our countless hikes, you're sure to find something that suits your fancy. If you don't, feel free to suggest an outing using the "IDEAS" tab or email me or one of the Assistant Organizers. While we welcome all different levels of hiking skills, you should be aware of your comfort level and capabilities. Each person is responsible for their own gear and safety. If you are wondering what to bring, REI has a check list of items that you should carry (https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/ten-essentials.html) If you have a question drop me or any of the assistant organizers an email. I Joined IJL about six months ago and met my boyfriend on my third date and went on hold. Like any dating service, including Match.com, eHarmony, and so on, you take your chance when you join a dating service but we all join in hopes of meeting someone that will become our life partner, our confidante, our friend. Joining these services brings us into contact with people outside of our social circle, allowing us to meet people we would never cross paths with. Some of the dates are good and some not so good, but this is no reflection on the services we join. It is a matter of meeting someone that is compatible and that does not happen overnight and most often does not happen on the first date. There was a lot of trash talk in the other review about IJL's claim for being a dating services for busy professionals and yes this is in the company's advertising but all of us go through an extensive interview process with the owner of the company and we are asked if we want to only date "professionals" or if we would be willing to date people in blue collar jobs or technical professions. We are asked a wide range of questions to nail down who we are looking for what our "deal breakers" are. If you are not completely honest in answering the questions you will be set up on dates that you are not compatible with because the company can only go by what you have told them. Joining IJL was one of the best moves I made in my life!!! Not only did I meet my boyfriend but I met a wonderful group of people that have enhanced my social life. And yes, it may be considered expensive to some but if you are a busy professional, as I am, it is worth every penny. I was not going to hang out in bars at my age hoping to meet Mr. Right. The format of IJL allows the members to meet for a drink, cup of coffee, or lunch in a relaxed, safe arena. As a woman, this was an important aspect of joining this service. If you are thinking of joining a dating service in Reno, I highly recommend joining It's Just Lunch. They are professional, knowledgeable, and offer excellent customer service.

You can't get any more info about the people unless you agree to exchange phone numbers during your first date and then they have your contact info too. This is scary considering 2 of the three people they matched me with had criminal histories. One of them was still married! Even though I specifically stated I did not want to date people who are separated. I wish I would have read these reviews before signing up. This is one the most expensive mistakes I've ever made. The matchmaker is not really a match maker at all, they are a scam service selling scams, they lie about the potential date they set you up with in hopes you will agree to meeting and then they claim they've fulfilled their obligation. It's as horrible as all the others have stated.

Heads up: the gift shop closed before we could grab anything, and the closing announcements were pretty firm--if you weren't already in line, it was a no-go. Totally fair, just something to keep in mind when planning your visit! There are so many exhibits that we definitely had to move quickly, but it was still 100% worth it. Pro tip: save the downstairs water feature for last--it's an absolute blast for the whole family! As a special needs family, we felt really comfortable here. Our 5-year-old loved the freedom to walk and explore, and our 1-year-old had a great time in the littles area and with the water play. The huge cloud play structure looked amazing, but we skipped it since there's only one way in and out--just didn't feel like the right call for us this time. Bonus: let your kids take the stairs to burn off energy! But if you've got a stroller, wheelchair, or just want an easier route, elevators are available too. Overall, such a fun spot--we'll definitely be back (with more time next time)!

The museum is not very large and most of our kiddos love the Truckee river exhibit as they play there more. It could be the age. Just bring some spare clothes or a towel as they may be drenched. As they get older they may like to do the other exhibits more. They have lego, space, anatomy, physics, and engineering zones. They also have a lab with daily activities. The amazing part is there are plenty of things to do. The downside is the parking lot gets packed fast, but thats a good thing. So give yourself time if looking for a spot. Its super cool for the kiddos and there is even a cute little toddler playground. So please enjoy the space and time.

It was already dark when we arrived, so I didn't notice much about the outside other than the gravel parking lot. We walked down a ramp and entered a fair sized gathering room that included walls decked out with posters from all of the various wars in which the veterans had fought, card tables with plain padded chairs, and a bar, and the room was clouded with smoke. I am no fan of cigarette smoke, so this was a disappointing discovery. After the lights and sounds were checked properly, we were invited back to the bunker area for the performance, where we sat in scattered folding chairs. The air was much fresher and cooler than the gathering room, and no smoking was allowed in this area, thank goodness. The play, appropriately named "Wounded", was an intense drama about wounded soldiers from the war in Iraq. It was performed well, and the bunker was a great aesthetic to the setting. It was put on by Merry War Theater Group, who presented themselves as a pop-up ensemble whose acts can be followed on Facebook or through their e-mail list, as they do not perform in just one arena. My heart and gratitude go out to our Veterans. However, I would like to preserve my lungs from the wretches of second hand smoke.
