We walked up to the counter and Cohen was there to help us choose our Brit Floyd Tickets. This will be my 3rd year, but the music is so great, I bought two nights so I could hear The best of the Wall one night, and my friend and I will see The Dark side of the moon the last night. Wow! I am over the moon. It was so easy and thank you Cohen, you made this a Five Star ticket buying experience with your exceptional customer service. See you on The Dark side of the Moon, in June. I have been to two shows in the last year here at the Grand Theatre, and while I think it's a great…read morevenue, it's not perfect. The venue itself is nice. Well designed, lots of bars and bathrooms. It's easy to get in and out. Traffic flow is usually not too bad. They do have construction happening for the new arena, which means that parking at the GSR is limited, so be aware on show nights and come a bit early. The bar prices are semi-reasonable. They have beer, canned cocktails, and some wine choices. They also have light snacks for purchase, but no real food options. The primary challenge with this venue is the sound. It's just not great. The echoes are noticeable, and it's often way too loud in here. I always feel like I need my earplugs at this venue. Many reviews tell you how great their show was, and I think they are confusing the show quality with the venue quality. The shows here are great, but that doesn't have anything to do with the venue itself. If you are looking for a top-shelf auditory experience, you might want to consider seeing your show at another venue. If you're okay with some sound imperfections, the Grand Theatre is a perfectly fine venue.

A lot of people are still stuck on incidences in the past. However I gave it another chance... I would recommend this bar to anybody visiting or someone wanting a cool place to go that is 24 hours. I enjoy the people, the bartenders, the ambience, the music, the atmosphere, the enclosed patio, the Sunday dinners & I made lifelong friends... Enjoy going here very much ... I feel safe, I feel welcome, I feel appreciated... This is definitely one of my favorite bars in reno/sparks.

It's a true dive bar in the best possible way -- cheap drinks, free pool, good people, hot girls, hot guys, and absolutely zero pretentiousness. The fact that it's open 24/7 is a huge bonus, and being able to smoke inside just adds to that classic dive-bar atmosphere. You never really know what kind of night you're going to have here, but you know it's going to be entertaining. One of my favorite things is Family Day on Sundays. They provide FREE food for everyone, which is something you just don't see anymore. It really gives the place a sense of community that makes it stand out. If you're looking for a fancy cocktail lounge, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want a real bar with character, good vibes, pool, interesting people, and a place where you can walk in at literally any hour -- this is it. Been coming for years and I'll keep coming back.

Great concert! Belinda Carlisle put on a fun show and was energetic and played some newer songs and…read moresome gogo songs at the end, great show all around very much enjoyed it! Easy getting in and through the security. Cocktails prices high to be expected inside the venue, bathrooms close by. We had great seats close to the stage on the side. Only problem all the really tall people that had to stand and block our view even when we stood up! Nugget "security" didn't clear the aisle towards the end of the concert and people were coming up and blocking our view even more by standing in the aisles. Not cool when we paid for better seats. Other then that loved the concert!

We sat in different locations and got two completely different experiences. Both shows were low turnout, not sure why, but my suspicion was a combination of low advance advertisement and particular acts who peaked in the late 90s. The bars seem to be plentiful enough to keep even the busiest of concerts moving well, and the bar we went to served a good white russian. So my tips on this venue would be to be very careful about where you get your seats, you could find yourself in front of huge loud speakers and hate your experience. Row 24 is right behind the sound booth and could hamper your view. Getting more centered and closer to the front will probably get you the best sound and view combination. Hoping they bring in more good quality acts in the future.
