Shame on me for showing up at a German Biergarten before lunch. Couldn't have a beer today anyway but a schnitzel and garlic tots would be fine. Service was great with offers of great German beers and explanations of the menu. With the schnitzel plate comes your choice of ketchup, ranch, spicy mustard or whole grain mustard. The schnitzel was pressed thin, battered and fried. Lemon juice tops it off. Very German schnitzel! Prost is decorated with flags, posters and soccer banners of Germany as any good Biergarten should be. Get a group of friends and plan on good meals and drinks and maybe some sports while you're at it.
I think the ratings for this place have been inflated by the influence of alcohol.... We came with friends from Germany (from Baden-Württemberg and Hessen) during "dry January" and tried the spaetzle (best described as pasta and bread had a baby), schnitzel (think like Japanese pork katsu with mushroom gravy), Rotkohl (red cabbage), Kartoffelsalat (vinegary potato salad), and curry bratwurst. Our German friends said none of these things tasted like they would in Germany. They also found the curry wurst to be "too spicy" (to which my husband and I couldn't help but giggle over because that's like calling an onion spicy-- while it had a slight sharpness to it, it's wasn't what us Americans would consider spicy). My husband really enjoyed the schnitzel with the mushroom gravy on top, but in my opinion I didn't taste anything that made me think I'd return for the food alone. If I were to return, I'd likely consider ordering the curry bratwurst again. In short, if you're hungry and looking for a place that offers 4+ stars based on food's price and/or flavor I'd recommend dinning elsewhere.
It boils down to perspective. You're not in Bavaria. This isn't an authentic hofbräu. Enjoy what's offered at face value, you'll enjoy it that much more. Prost does have the look and feel of a modern German beer hall and many of their dishes are very well prepared. I'm curious as to the influence on this menu. As American-ized as the food is, I taste definite regional German influences. Great for me! Odd thing is I taste different parts of the country in this food and now I'm very inquisitive. The staff were all great. Not all were very knowledgeable as to the fare. Even heard someone speaking the old language. Always love to hear that. A nice little beer selection. I highly recommend you copy and paste these words or learn to pronounce: Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. This is a terrifically smooth wheat beer with a hint of clove. It goes down easy and compliments many dishes. Might not be something your bartender would suggest, but I think it fits. As I said there are a few wonderful dishes to experience. You might try either of their Plates, which are like a sampler. If you order Tots, order them lightly salted. Personally, I vouch for the Bacon jam pretzel or the Beer Cheese pretzel. Pass on the Frankfurter and go straight to the Prost Onion Brat with Truffle Salt. Their prices are very reasonable. Go ahead and sway while you sing Oompah music all night. The object here is enjoyment. Just let loose and savour the atmosphere (that you help create). You'll even be back! 01/25
Have been here a few times and it always hits the spot for some good German food! Their beer tap list is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Some smaller tables inside by the bar and some family style long tables plus outdoor seating gives everyone options to enjoy. The pretzel is always a family favorite!
FIVE STARS! We rolled up with nine people in our group and all being younger (and not wanting to front a high tab) the server was very kind to help us split the bill for each person! Super grateful for that. Everything we ordered was delicious. From pretzels to wurst to curry tots it was all delicious and served timely! The beer was cold and frothy and hit the spot. We also loved guessing the German beer names and even though we definitely butchered the pronunciation it was still fun! We loved that it was shaded so we could enjoy the warm March day without having the sun in our eyes. Many of the girls have never been here again but are already talking about our next trip to Prost! We even talked about making Oktoberfest an annual thing here!
I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed the German ambiance. They have a healthy space of outdoor seating as well as indoors. Almost feels like you were in Germany, especially the aroma of the good food and beer. I stopped in with my son before Hot August Nights for a quick bite before looking at the cars. They are right across the street from the Atlantis, so again, very convenient. I've had pretzels and beer in the past and never disappoint. This time I had the traditional German plate, which consisted of schnitzel, spaetzle, brown gravy and rotkohl. All, very good, but needed a little bit of salt. The only reason why I didn't go with 5 stars was because the service was a little lacking...not terrible, and maybe it was because they were slightly understaffed, but could have been a little more attentive. I'll certainly go back though! Prost!
If you're in the mood for some hearty German eats, Prost is definitely worth a visit. I tried the Brat Platter, which came with three different wursts, and all of them hit the mark. The smoked brat was hands-down my favorite--so flavorful and satisfying! We also ordered the garlic parm tots, and they were cooked to perfection--crispy without being overly greasy. And as a sauerkraut lover, I've got to give a nod to their kraut--nice and tangy, just how it should be. The prices are reasonable, especially compared to the other German spot in town, which is a nice bonus. Definitely a place I'll come back to when I'm craving a brat fix!
Wow! Prost is a true gem of Reno. Our group went in for food and drink. Only one of us ended up ordering a beer, but their classic German beer menu is fantastic. The food was something else. The pretzel was great, although a bit tough and dry. Probably not made fresh but reheated. Still great especially with the beer cheese. The schnitzel sandwich was flavorful with a great spice from the mustard sauce. The currywurst platter had amazing tater tots with a killer curry ketchup. One of the best I've had though I'm a sucker for a curry ketchup. The shining star for me was the onion brat with a savory bacon jam and salty beer cheese topped with loads of chopped white onion. Holy cow was that great. The bun was so soft and brat had a great snap. There was just one server bartending and waiting tables on a Thursday night but service was still quick and friendly. I will surely visit Prost again to try their many other great looking dishes. So happy I found this place!
None of the food tasted fresh. It tasted fried and dry. And the worst bra I've ever had. I don't know why the flavor was strange. The waitress was really sweet, but being that my spouse ordered a vodka soda water. They charged him $.50 for the soda water, which is really bizarre. I should've guessed because entering the restaurant outside with a little patio area, which was very dirty. Sadly, we won't be back.
We came to town to meet friends and decided to bring them here. I am German and the menu looked simple and delicious. I wasn't sure if the guys were beer drinkers but I know my husband would try some so this was a good place to sit and visit. Turns out they had a full bar too which is great since I don't like beer. Our waitress was awesome and welcomed us right away and took drink order. She asked the guys what type of beer they liked and she gave them options. I chose to have the Prost Mule which was delicious so I ended up having two. I remember the guys saying "it's warm" meaning the beer don't was real traditional room temp and turns out they both liked the flavor very much. The guys all ordered bratwurst and I had one of the pretzels with beer cheese which was perfect for sitting and visiting. Everyone enjoyed their food and our waitress was great and kept checking on us. We ended up sitting and visiting for 4 hours and we are definitely going back so I can try some brats and have a few more of my favorite Mules.
After a recent Yelp event, decided to bring a couple of family members for lunch. We were served pretty quickly. I ordered the sausage sampler platter. It was so much I took half of it home and repurposed it as my appetizer for happy hour later that evening. Everyone eating my "leftovers" loved them. And no I didn't serve anything I partially ate. I served those I didn't touch. My sister and niece order the schnitzel platter. Everything was good except we didn't much care for the spatzel .. kind of gummy. And although I'm not German, I prefer my own red cabbage. The menu here is not huge, as the waitress reminded me, they are primarily a biergarten that serves food and not a restaurant that serves beer. Although not a big beer drinker, I did order a light beer to have with my sausage. I will definitely go again.
Mean!!! Not my favorite. It probably won't come back again. For those of you that follow me you know it is so rare that I give a three star to anyone. I always try to look for the very very best in each restaurant... However, in this case it was a little bit more difficult than others. Parking here is extremely simple and very easy to get from the parking lot to the pub. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is definitely a pub style, with high tops and picnic table style tables, and of course, sitting at the bar. I think if you're going to drink and just hang out play some boardgames or maybe some life-size Jenga games... Then this place could be really fun. When we were there, we noticed they have a scoreboard in front of the kitchen that is keeping track of people that have drink certain drinks, and a certain amount of time and eaten a large pretzel in a certain amount of time... So that's kind of fun. They also have a few spots around that have televisions so if you're going in there for a fight or for some sort of a sports event... I can see how this place might be fun. But if you're coming in for food, maybe reconsider that. I would say our experience coming there for lunch has some room from improvement on Service. There is definitely some opportunity for the servers to be more attentive and do a better job with asking questions and following up with us during our visit. I'm not sure if the pizza place next-door to it is owned by the same owners, but why we were there sitting there waiting for our food gentleman at the bar received a pizza from next-door. I thought that was kind of strange because this place had a menu... And food... So I thought it was kind of weird that they would let the next-door pizza place deliver a pizza to this guy at the bar?? I'm thinking maybe they own a place I don't know but it was a little strange. Now that I mentioned that, let's talk about the food. I think the presentation is super fun and I love the idea of serving them on planks/cutting boards. However, I wasn't a fan of the seasoning and flavoring... or lack there of, I should say. Everything we had, had the exact same funky flavor... after we were done, I was able to pinpoint it was from the oil it's being fried in. It was this really weird, stale funky flavoring that didn't leave my mouth for about an hour. Even with the beer I was Drinking. I'm not quite sure what type of oil they'reusing but the food wasn't something I enjoyed. I will say that what you see on the menu is what you get. If you want mustard for your schnitzel or for your sandwich, that is extremely dry, then you'll need to ask for that. Also, if you want mayo on your sandwich, you're gonna have to ask for that. If you want any kind of dipping condiments for your french fries or your tots, they're gonna have to specifically ask for that because there's nothing on the tables. Now, I could be really judgmental because I've been to so many other of these pub style restaurants... And I've had some pre-epic schnitzel in my time.... And some knock your socks off tots in my time. However, and unfortunately, I give the food a 1 star. I really hope this is something that the owner and or manager can take a look at and make some adjustments so that the food can match the theme. It's unfortunate so I really wanted to like this place :(
Our experience this time around was disappointing. When we arrived, there were only two other tables. We sat ourselves and were promptly given menus by a waitress, who then returned to the bar. Over the next 10 minutes we waited for our waitress to come back as more tables arrived. We ordered beers, a pretzel, a bratwurst, and a schnitzel platter. Our beers arrived quickly, but then we watched as the newer tables, all of whom ordered after us, received their food before we did. Every table had similar orders to ours, yet no one checked on us. Our waitress had seemingly taken over bartending, and the other waitress--who walked past our table repeatedly--never acknowledged us. After waiting 40 minutes, we finally waved down our waitress to ask about our food. She responded flatly, "Well, everyone kind of ordered at the same time," despite the fact that we had clearly ordered first. No apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, and no offer to refresh our drinks. When our food finally arrived, my schnitzel was dry and overcooked, with just the tiniest sliver of lemon. Some extra lemon or traditional cranberries would have helped, but no one ever came back to ask how our meal was. The brat was delicious along with the pretzel and tots, our little guy was also happy to play with the chess pieces again. We did also noticed that every other table was offered free champagne for Valentine's Day--except for us. Our waitress was cold and seemed uninterested in being there. If we return, we'll be requesting a different server.
We were in Reno last week in search of something different and came across a few Yelp reviews of this German place pretty close to the Aquarius casino. They have a few great authentic German beers on tap so we tried a few that I never had, a cross between a dark and light beer...more Dunkel forward. The waitress recommended them so we gave them a try.. it was delicious! We ordered a Pork Schnitzel that came with some crinkle cut fries and a pretzel with beer cheese and a bacon jam. The food was all delicious and we loved the atmosphere...they put a seasoning on the fries, a truffle salt, that was good, but if that is not your jam, you can also get the fries with just salt. The pretzel was outstanding, both sauces delicious and you can add more for a dollar per. We will likely come back to this place, the inside is inviting and we loved the deco! read more

Steve and Corey greeted up and were great hosts. Drinks and food was average. Atmosphere is great. Lots of salt used which was not a positive thing the best were the truffle salt fries and the schnitzel 5 stars for those two items. Thanks Steve and Corey you were both excellent Hosts. read more
Yum! As a Swiss girl, this was just enough Bavarian to quench a good craving. The schnitzel was nice and thin with a good crispy batter, the currywurst was amazing and the tots with the curry powder and also a curry ketchup was really amazing without being overpowering. The star was the kasekreiner though- lots of Swiss cheese inside that was super gooey and the pickled onion on top was perfect. The cucumber salad was also amazing- very dilly and lots of vinegar- super authentic German style! The one missing star is for really basic fries- we even asked for them to be extra crispy and they were just kinda soggy and flavorless. The tots on the other hand were amazing! Decided to take a chance on a new German spot, the first impression one of the girls didn't want to wait on two girls, because she wanted to flirt with guys thinking she'd get more tips. Which is fine because the other waitress was really accommodating and took our order immediately. The food was another story, we both got a schnitzel platter, which we tried to eat- needless to say we took a couple bites paid the bill and left the food. The food is definitely a 1-star but the waitress was super nice and we left her a generous tip. The spatzle was bland with no flavor and rubbery, and the gravy was over powered with cloves, and the meat tasted weird like it had spoiled the day before. Super weird tasting served with plastic silverware. The ambience was off too. read more

Manage your expectations. I came here having none so left pleasantly surprised. The patrons next to me at the bar, however, were noticeably upset with the waitress' response being, "we're out of that," every other word. Unclear if it was because we came later in the day or early in the week but they were out of a lot of both food and beverage items. Luckily, the food and drinks they did have were quite good. The fry on the fries was just right and the truffle salt addition was nice. The curry ketchup transported me to Berlin. The serving platter for the schnitzel dish was too cute. The seating and parking were plentiful. I won't rush back here next time I'm in the area because you never know what they will or won't have, but I'd return for a stammtisch with good people. read more
I am always on the lookout for a place that serves good quality beer, preferably German beer in huge mugs bigger than my face! I found that here at Prost Reno Biergarten. Staff is super helpful and friendly, totally make you feel welcome. We started our visit with some cold beer. I like the lighter beers so I lean towards the Hefeweizen; which made my decisions harder since they have quite a few on the menu. I asked our server which one she preferred and she brought me two samples of her favorites. (SPATEN FRANZISKANER HEFEWEISS HOFBRAU HEFEWEIZEN) I liked both but the SPATEN FRANZISKANER HEFEWEISS is now my favorite. It tasted fruity flowery to me with a crisp ending, no bitter aftertaste; Loved it! We ordered a German charcuterie board, good size for 2 people. Giant pretzel with beer cheese, mustard, and onion jam. Pretzel was soft and fresh. Plus a Schnitzel with tater tots and curry ketchup. Atmosphere of restaurant is super chill and laid back, food comes out hot and fresh. Staff is awesome. I'd be here every day if I lived near by. I'd be in trouble. Lol read more
Omg! I found this place while I was walking around, and I had a great time. My brother & sister in law we're with me and they are military & actually spent 10 years in Europe. So we went in & the beer selection is awesome, the service was great, but the food fell short that's the only reason I gave 4 stars. On certain days they have beer chugging contests, pretzel eating contests, & a scoreboard with the winner's to beat. I definitely will be back next time I am in town. read more

Great beer and German food choices at this restaurant! Unfortunately they were out of schnitzel and some beers. The jam that came with the pretzel was delicious! And the pretzel is huge! I just wish the pretzel was warmer. I loved the food, but wish there were more vegetables available. We also really liked the patio seating. They are cool with you ordering from the pizza place next door and eating it on the shared patio. They were super busy for a Thursday night. Only 1 waitress working the whole place so the service was slow, but she was very nice and friendly. Would definitely come back for more beer!! read more

Soo good!! Stephen was a good server. We were there on a cold Sunday night. Wasn't busy. Watched football and enjoyed our meal. First timers. We ordered too much for 2 but we sure did put a big dent in everything. Loved it all. Best pretzel! Can't wait to return. read more

Was craving a real pretzel and found this place! The place was nice and it wasn't super busy when we went. The waitress was nice, I definitely had a heard time figuring out the beer and food menu so everything I ordered was recommended by her. The food was pretty good but they didn't have the tater tot's which is what I really wanted! The overall price was higher than I expected but I did enjoy the place so I might not be a regular but I will be back. read more
We heard about this place and decided to try it out for lunch. First off, the service was fantastic. The server was attentive, pleasant, and regularly checked on us. The location is in a strip mall (for those that grew up in Reno, it's the Old Town mall). I haven't been there in a long time and was pleasantly surprise by the remodel of the mall. There were outdoor seating and other cool restaurants nearby. Felt like a mid-town sort of vibe. The food selection that they had were OK. The fries and pretzel were a little to salty for my taste. The brats were OK as well. My favorite was the schnitzel. There food menu was limited, wish there were more options. read more
Great bar, always a fun upbeat atmosphere here. Great German food! I crave it a lot. The cucumber salad is my favorite and the bacon jam! Yes bacon jam!!!! Try it! Try it now! You won't be disappointed! The service is always so great! They acknowledge you as soon as you walk in. Which I love! Makes you feel welcomed. My server was Matt he was so knowledgeable and sweet. PROST!! CHEERS!! L'CHAIM!! Any way you say it, it's a hearty and warm welcome...that's what this place is all about! I'd been seeing great reviews for this addition to the local scene since they opened, so it was time to investigate...boy, was I sure glad that I did. I've been in this venue in every incarnation it's gone through...including Jon Taffer from Bar Rescue's version and this is the best by far. This is a representation at it's finest of a German Beer Hall and they live up to that representation in every way! I felt right at home the second I walked in with my friend on an early evening...brightly lit, bustling, animated, lots of sounds of people enjoying themselves...AND...Polka music on the speakers...I felt right at home being of Austrian descent and having been in many a German style Beer Hall. We were greeted immediately and guided to a tall table near the bar. The staff that was in our area greeted us and a friendly waitress came right to our table. What better way to start than with one of my fave beers of all time...a TALL Weihenstephaner Hefe Dunkel. I love this beer and very few places have it on tap. It's a dark wheat beer with none of things I don't like about a standard wheat. I love that it has a full flavor and doesn't taste at all like every other wheat beer out there...and on tap? Perfect! My friend ordered: Prost Mule ($10) Muddled Cherry, Plum Vodka, Lime Juice, Ginger beer I got a taste...delicious! We had to get one of their giant pretzels...classic! Pretzel ($8) Locally made by Rounds Bakery only our style. The addition of a perfectly made Beer Cheese made it just right. My friend ordered: Schnitzel Sandwich ($12) A thin patty cooked just right, delicious breading, all put together into a fabulous sandwich. A tasty side salad of cucumber and dill (at least, I think I remember it as such), along with a delicious pickle spear rounded it out. The bread was great and German mustard added a great tang. My taste was delicious. I ordered one of their "Signature Wurst": Prost Kasekreiner ($10) Fallot Stone Ground mustard, house pickled red onion WOW! Seared perfectly, served on a great bun...the pickled red onion and the mustard made it a delectable meal. The prices are right in line...you get what you pay for and it's well worth every cent. I met the owner...really nice, personable guy that took the time to hang out with us for a few minutes and tell us the back story of this place and his vision for it. This place was the most fun I've had in a bar in this area in quite a while...you should check it out...I'll be back...often! read more
My boyfriend takes me out a lot and this place is a definitely hidden gem! I like trying Moscow mule every time I go to the bar and this mule is the BEST mule for me honestly. The food was so good and I really like the atmosphere there. Everyone was very friendly! Also, there's a pizza place right next to this place and you can also have it with drinks here. Perfect spot for chillax with beer or any kinds of drinks you like :) Check this place out! read more

Visited Prost after a Yelp event, so we could get the whole experience, and was not disappointed. First off, we picked the perfect February day when we could sit outside on their patio. It was delightful. People had their pooches with them (water bowls supplied), and the beer was cool and refreshing in the warm sun. It was definitely German beer and even came in the glasses I remember from Germany. It was the food that was amazing though! My husband and I decided to share our two plates, and both of us were happy we did. I got the wiener schnitzel with spatzle and it was amazing. The schnitzel was light and flavorful and the spatzle was even better than what my German host mom had served me when I was an exchange student. Don't even get me started on the red sauerkraut which was sweet and tangy and definitely craveable. We also got a variety of wurst with two different types of mustard. We ended up having to take those home because the schnitzel and spatzle was too filling, but they were also sooo good. read more

This place is a hidden gem! Came here while my mom was visiting and it was so beautiful outside so we opted for the patio. While the ambiance outside is a little odd - being so close to the parking lot in a shopping center - the warm greetings from the staff made up for it! They have an excellent selection of beers and food. I've never had schnitzel on a sandwich but it was quite good - alas - a lot of bread. I would definitely go back and appreciate that it was cut in half. I feel the food prices are really fair and would make for some good share plates. Our waiter was phenomenal. He was attentive without hovering, made jokes, great conversation all while observing COVID restrictions. We were a little late to the party. Prost Biegarten has been open for a while now, and all the reviews from others in the community were very positive. First, when we pulled up, they had some pretty nice outdoor seating, a roll-up door facing the patio for spring open air experience. Decorated style throughout. Probably the biggest Elk mount I have ever witnessed on the back wall. Plenty of beers on tap, but I am reversed that way. I was there for the food as beer isn't really my huckleberry. Thw lady had one of the drinks, we both really enjoyed it. Curry Tots were gigantic, and delicious. Once the various brats started to arrive the party began. The sauerkraut was phenomenal, along with the pickled onions. Every single brat had a solid snap and juicy AF. Has one that was cheese filled at the referral from another guest, it was killer. Even the plain brat with mustard was off the hook, the lady stated it was probably the beat brat she had ever had. The two I ordered were beyond anything in a 100 mile radius. They have it down to perfection in tast, plating, pickles, you name it. The pretzel is also a rock star, plain or with the bacon jam. The mustard choice is my personal #2, so everything was clicking. This was our first visit to Prost (2nd for my brother); we walked in and the place was still fairly empty save for a smattering of people sitting at the bar, a large group in the back and two couples here and there. We were greeted by Steven who invited us to have a seat at any of the open tables and soon after brought us the menus and the daily specials. We opted for the German plate, the bratwurst plate and schnitzel platter, plus a couple of non-alcoholic drinks since none of us are drinkers (I know, such a shame). The drinks and food arrived promptly, and so did a whole slew of people, and before we knew it, the place was packed but we didn't mind because we were too busy noshing on some pretty delectable eats. The food was great: plentiful and filling, the ambiance was casual and relaxed, the vibe of the place is inviting and encourages that you linger for a spell. The service was good too, our serve/host Steven was pretty nice and hospitable but poor thing got so busy, he was buzzing everywhere, all at once. Overall, we have a positive first impression of this restaurant and we will definitely have to try this place again. read more

Five-star cocktails, food, and service from our dear friend Jessi at Prost - Reno's best German Biergarten with authentic, imported ingredients and an atmosphere that sends you straight to Octoberfest! For those of you who don't know, I always base my reviews on my ABC rating system, which covers my three critical pillars of exemplary drinking and/or dining experiences: 1) Ambiance - the vibes, 2) Business - the operations of the establishment, and last but not least, 3) Cocktails and/or Cuisine - taste and quality! With my ABC rating system you are guaranteed to get a good rec every time. So, without further ado, let's get into the review! Ambiance: ***** The ambiance here is magic! I am sitting here in Bavaria after being transported to this magnificent German beer hall with lively crowds and a vibe that cannot be more authentically curated, even with the most Germanic stimmungen (moods/vibes). Smiles abound on all of the familiar faces of complete strangers, conversations of gold being shared in aplenty, aloud the subtle tunes of an acoustic guitar in the background. Come claim your spot in this incredible beer hall on a Friday or Saturday evening for tons of friendly fun and better beers and mixed beverages than any other bar in town! Business: ***** I honestly feel that this is a tightly run family-owned ship - in the best way possible. The staff is always friendly and attentive - always checking in on you and bringing you more food and beer as needed. The establishment is very clean and well taken care of. The shuffleboard is always salted, the pieces are always available - typically behind the bar - and the tables and floors are always wiped clean and clear of debris. Lastly, the restrooms are in great shape - and that's important in a place that largely serves alcohol. The owner imports quite a few products from Germany to make the experience as genuine as possible for his patrons. One of which is this really great tasting bacon jam that is insanely delicious! You can also get yourself an imported Underburg digestif after your beverages and meal (highly recommended)! Cuisine: ***** The cuisine here is pretty authentic - about as German as German gets in Reno. The Giant pretzel is great, and be sure to order a side of the bacon jam! The sausages are also imported and delicious! My favorite was the Bockwurst, which I highly recommend. I know it's not very Germanic of me, but I dislike mustard, so I ordered it with just the sauerkraut. Also, important tip, the currywurst and the curry fries are EPIC!!! If you haven't had a german sausage or frites with curry on them then please do yourself a favor and give them a go. Came here after work to finish watching the Niner's game. Fun decor in here. I love the boards they serve the food on. The staff we encountered was super friendly. I tried the Samoa cocktail which mimicked the girl scout cookie. It was very tasty and they did not skimp on the adult beverage portion . We had a snitzel sandwich and a pretzel. The sandwich came out hot and very fresh. The chicken in it was very flavorful as were the vegetables. The pretzel came with some dip options. Beer cheese, mustard and bacon jelly. Sounds odd, but that ba on jelly is freaking delicious!!! They don't sale it in a jar dang it, but I sure sh!+ brought some small to go containers home with me. So yummy!!! read more

We had such a good time here, this is just the kind of place we look for locally, especially when we can't travel. It gives us the nostalgia of being abroad while being only minutes away from home. A great little addition to the Reno foodie and drinking community. They specialize in all sorts of German beer and food. I highly recommend the pretzel, while simple, their sauces are made just right. If you're a beer drinker who likes trying German beer, you will be right at home. read more
